I thought they were excellent. The thing I like about them the most is that when you have an appointment and you go there, you don't have to wait very long. It is a huge practice and all the doctors have different specialties. The office environment is very nice and they work in groups of like two or three interns that work with a specialist so they are very nice and knowledgeable. They answer kindly to questions no matter how dumb they may sound.

I was confusion as to the amount of time I was to wear the brace so I called and spoke to Dr Blank's nurse and she was very informative and resolved the problem. I definitely would return to see him. The staff was excellent and waiting time was very low.

Doctor examined my arm and diagnosed rotor cuff sprain. I was very surprised he did not order an MRI for confirmation. He said I needed at least 6 weeks of Physical Therapy and gave me a list of p/t offices. He also gave me a prescription for pain pills and told me to come back in a month. I went to p/t and after 6 weeks and also doing the exercises at home every day I went back to the Doctor. I explained I was still in pain and felt all the exercises did not improve the situation. He told me that was the best he could do and to continue on the pain pills. End of story. Will not go back.

I made the appointment based on Angies List and Richmond Top Docs for the podiatrist closest to me. The office staff was OK, but Dr. Weiss probably only spent 5-10 minutes with me. He was actually so detached, he was almost rude. He did not explain what he was doing, only roughed up the big toe that I had come in for, not really fixing the problem. He said said the nail had a fungus infection and he could do laser treatment, but that would take many visits and be very expensive and might not keep it from returning. Then he said there was not really much I could do for it.
He trimmed the callus that I pointed out, prescribed some cream to use on it at home. Then he said he was going to trim my nails, which he did not do. He made a deep V cut in the opposite big toe nail, cutting into the flesh and causing it to bleed. (I was having no problem with this toe before I came in.) Then he did not trim any of the rest of the nails on either foot.
I have been to several podiatrists over the years, since I am 70 years old. But I have never had one treat me this way. I have never been hurt by a podiatrist, unless he explained what he was going to do and why. I feel that it was most unprofessional interaction and I would never recommend Dr. Weiss to anyone.

I never saw the x-rays. The doctor said he couldn't tell from the x-ray if there was a break, that sometimes a break doesn't show up on an x-ray. he ordered a boot, which I purchased in his office, but it didn't fit well at all and was painful to wear. I went back for a check up and a second set of x-rays was ordered. No change, and I still wasn''t showed the x-rays. I asked how long I it was going to take to heal, and he gave me an answer, but when I told him I was diabetic, he change his answer to a longer time. He should have realized I was diabetic from the start, as I noted it on the entry forms.

Great practice. Did follow up xrays to ensure the best treatment was performed to help my ankle heal.
