    IQ Construction LLC
IQ construction did a great job. They tested the foundation drainage system and identified water was not exiting the system as designed. They followed (dug up) the outside drainage pipe in the yard and found where the pipe was cut and crushed. IQ replaced the drainage pipe and used great care in the yard. They also then installed a new crawl space vapor barrier spanning the full area and used great care under the house (with all the a/c piping, water pipes, wires, etc).

    Bone-Dry Waterproofing
I was recommended Bone-Dry through my real estate agent. I had them give a quote for services, which came in 1 1/2 times higher than the next bidder, When I asked why the difference I was told because of their 'lifetime guarantee' that they offer.
    Cost of service: $5600.

This taught me to pay more attention to the fine print.

Less than a year and a half later a bearing goes out on the motor and is not covered.
    Cost: $177.

I go to sell my house and the inspector reports the same motor is no longer working, less than 5 years of use. My agent calls Bone-Dry to give an estimate.
    Cost: $1100!

When questioned about their so-called lifetime guarantee, the agent is told that is only on the French Drain they dug and not on any other work.

The final straw was when I had the motor repaired by another, more reputable company, and receive a bill.
Cost: $75 from Bone-Dry for a service call!!!

    My recommendation:
Avoid Bone-Dry and Brian Payne. There are more reputable companies out there who actually stand by ALL their work.

    Virginia Crawlspace Specialists
FABULOUS!!! A contractor that takes pride in his work is only the beggining. The price he charged was fair, the work fantastic and the "keep the customer" satisfied service was amazing. Would I call him again? Yes!!!

    Integrity Contracting, LLC
Outstanding communications; Brian is honest and up-front with details and costs. I employed Integrity for obtaining and installing a crawlspace door. The work was performed quickly and to specification. Having priced similar doors (no installation included), I know that Brian's quote was incredibly reasonable. And prior to installation, Brian did a complete walk-through of my crawlspace, took measurements, made recommendations, and provided estimates for all of the improvements he recommended. I chose to tackle the door first - and will definitely be employing Integrity for other crawlspace work. As my house is relatively new and not in need of emergent repairs, I plan on performing one or two improvements at a time over the course of year or two.

    Building Science, Inc.
We had called around to find out what we needed to do to stop the moisture problem. One company said they could eliminate the problem for $12,000. Building Science had quoted us $2000. They were on time, professional, neat and cleaned everything up as it was before they had come. We have not had a moisture problem and our home is cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
