    Replaced ice maker and valve. 3 days after repair ice maker started leaking a continuous stream of water. Returned and said valve shorted out due to internal short. Did not fix. I replaced valve. Works fine.

    Would highly recommend Dryer Vent Safety to others after my recent experience. He arrived on time, introduced himself and gave me a brief rundown of what his visit was going to entail. He was very respectful of my floors/carpeting and walls as he carried his equipment through the house. I was very pleased with his professionalism throughout the service, as well as his attention to detail as he showed me before & after photos of my vents and explained exactly what he did. Friendly guy.

    This is an update to my previous review. Would like to state that David Jenkins took the time to respond and address my concerns in my previous review. In this day and age that means a lot in the business world. While we can not go back and change a situation, it is important in my opinion that disputed issues be resolved which in this instance they have been.     Older gentleman was very kind and knowledgeable. He took the time to also go down into my crawl space to check the venting of the dryer. The pipelines to take the moist air out were installed with way too much of an angle....thus causing my dryer to overheat and eventually burn out the element. This was also VERY dangerous as the severe curve was causings a lot of lint buildup that could catch fire. He replaced the element and rerouted my entire venting. The dryer has worked so mych better since then. Can't remember his price but it was incredibly reasonable. I have his number in my phone now and will definately use again when needeed.

    The whole process went very well. A repair person from Stanley arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, and fixed what was wrong. The repair person had the part that needed replacing, so there was no $183wait for the part. The repair was scheduled and completed 2 days from the initial call to Stanley. With General Electric, the wait would have been 2 weeks or more.

    My 2 year old GE dishwasher was not draining properly so I hired them to fix it. I suspected that the pump was broken because the waste water was not flushing properly from the dishwasher. Their technician looked at it for about 15 minutes and told me definitively that the control board was broken and had to be replaced. He said I should order the part online for approx $150 and then call them back to have it installed. Although I'm no expert, I had a gut feeling that he was wrong so I hired another company to come out and take a look. Their technician removed the waste line that runs from the dishwasher to the garbage disposal, found that it was clogged, and cleared it out with a vacuum. Problem solved and it had nothing to do with the control board. The technician was lazy or didn't know what he was doing and he would have cost me a lot of time and money if I had taken his advice. I understand that noone is perfect so I contacted A Appliance to give them the opportunity to apologize and reimburse me for my payment. I also thought they would want to know that their service person did such a bad job to hopefully avoid this happening again. I called and spoke to a receptionist who had a service technician call me. He said I had to talk to the boss and that he would have him call me. He never called so I called him. He never returned my call. Do business with this company at your own risk.
