Awesome experience. It's Sunday and temperatures are in the single digits. Called Danny with Reddick & Sons and he made time for us immediately. Told us that he can't have a customer and their family in the cold and he would work us in. He diagnosed the problem within minutes and had us back up in running. Can't thank you enough fir the amazing service. Great, honest folks.

I called Reddick & Sons, Inc. and selected the 'Emergency' option even though I could wait to get things fixed. Danny answered, was professional, and walked me through key pieces of information he required. I stated it wasn't a dire emergency but he had an open window so he came to check the issue and provided what seemed like a good estimate given he had to replace the entire tank. While fixing the tank he noticed my plumbing system was running at an unusually high PSI due to a faulty pressure regulator. He adjusted the estimate, taking into account he was already there, and completed that work as well. Best part is that fixed many other issues I had no idea were related. I won't hesitate to contact them for future plumbing work and already working on finding a good time to have them come check and service my Rheem HVAC unit.

The job went very well. The Elite crew arrived when they said they would, did what they promised to do and then some, and left the areas cleaner than when they arrived. The work was performed on two separate days. The first day was to replace our upstairs (attic) air conditioning unit, which was 15 years old and not holding a charge. They recommended a RUUD gas unit, which they installed within a couple of days. The unit they quoted was not available so they provided an upgraded model for the same price. Getting the unit into the attic meant taking apart the trimwork around the access panel. When they finished, they left the room as clean as they found it, and all I needed to do was repaint the trim after they had put it back in place. Our downstairs unit still worked, but it too was a 15 year old builder grade unit, so we opted to have that replaced with a RUUD unit as well, and we also asked for a quote on our gas hot water heater. The quote was reasonable, and included a high-efficiency humidifier, upgraded filter system, a "hot water bottle" appendage to the hot water heater, and a separate return in the basement wall to the system (a louvred door was our only return in the basement). Again, the crew arrived on time, completed the work in a day, and left the basement area cleaner than they found it. The hot water heater turned out to be nearing its death cycle -- they could not drain the water out the bottom because of all the sediment buildup. Imagine how heavy that thing was getting it outside so that they could smash it open. They made it happen with no complaints (or extra charges). The work outside was also very professional. Both units, even though much taller than the originals, were neatly mounted above ground on the existing brackets, and they also caulked other areas on the side of the house that needed refreshing. Bottom line: we are very happy with the work the guys did. The new system is so quiet we thought something might be wrong. We would use them again without a second thought.

Brian,Graham, and Charles came on time and said good morning with strong handshakes! These men were very professional, and did an excellent job. They worked 12 hours without air conditioning taking out the old and installing the new equipment. They constantly kept me updated to what was being done. These gentleman encountered several nasty thunder, hail, wind storms, as they worked. It was quite a day. Greg came to check up on the work and was very pleased. The air is on and I am thrilled!

I found this gentleman off of Angies List, called him but he was in the middle of something and said he would call back. HE CALLED BACK. Came out as soon as he could. Explained my options without trying to over sale. He replaced the unit FAST AND explained in detail what he did. He is curtious, honest, and very efficient. Thank you and I highly recommend.

Service was excellent. The technician, Danny, was very polite, professional and was able to answer all of the questions and concerns.I had regarding our HVAC systems (2) and hot water heater. Will definitely ask for him when its time to service the heating system in the Fall.

Peed was very responsive from the start. I was able to get an appointment within a reasonable amount of time to provide an estimate on a new hot water heater and to check out a minor plumbing issue. The representative was very helpful with the minor issue and provided a quote for the water heater (I already knew what I wanted). The price was reasonable and Peed gave a good discount for using Angie's list. To my surprise, Peed was able to replace the water heater within a few hours.

I would definately use Peed again.

I purchased an Angie?s List ?Big Deal? for $49 for a Water-Heater Flush and a Comprehensive Plumbing Inspection.  Stanley Plumbing was at my home on January 14, 2015.  Mr. Christian Stanley, the owner, and Logan, his assistant responded.
I immediately directed them to my hot water heater.  That was the primary reason for this purchase other than to know what type of plumbing I have.  I moved to my new home August 2014.
After realizing it was the original hot water heater to the home (home constructed 1999), Mr. Stanley stated he was apprehensive to drain the water heater because with a water heater that old and not knowing if it was ever flushed, he may not be able to permanently seal the drain and other problem(s) could result.  He told me I should immediately replace it.  I told him it wasn?t cause me any problems at this time and I would consider doing it in the spring with nicer weather?not in the winter.   Besides, I would like to get estimates for its replacement.  I never go with the first offer.
Then I directed them to the kitchen.  Mr. Stanley looked under the sink and said my kitchen faucet sprayer was not hooked up.  I found that to be strange since I use it.  I thought perhaps it was disabled when my new dishwasher was installed in September 2014.  After he left I checked, my faucet sprayer is working just fine.
Then we went to check each toilet.  Mr. Stanley found the fill valve in the hallway bathroom on the main level was broken.  The toilet tank was filling up after a flush but it was spraying all around the inside of the tank.  His written estimate to me to replace the fill valve was $265.00.  I replaced it on January 23 for under $9 with a Fluidmaster brand from Lowe?s.
Lastly, I told Mr. Stanley I was concerned about the way I drained the front water spiket and the way the pipe ran from the inside, over my garage ceiling, and down to the front of the house.  First, it was a new home to me.  I also never used a bleeder cap underneath the water shut off.  My neighbor helped me bleed the line.  In November, I turned off the water shut off valve, opened the outside spiket, opened the bleeder cap underneath the water shut off valve and let it dripped until it had stopped and then closed the outside spiket and bleeder cap.  I told him this.  Mr. Stanley proceeded to turn the water shut off valve on and he said to me do you hear that hissing?.I said yes.  He then said you have a water leak.  With my garage door open looking in my garage, with Logan standing by the front spiket, water proceeding to run behind my drywall INSIDE in garage.  I was in shock!!!  It was 33 degrees in Gainesville.  Knowing what I had told him about how I bled the pipe, I did not expect him to turn on the water to the outside spiket but he did.  Now I have a broken pipe.  I am not blaming Stanley Plumbing for the broken pipe.  It very well could have been there based on the way I bled the pipe.  On a positive note, they did go in the area above my garage to tell me the pipe leading to the outside front hose spike was insulated above the garage.  That was reassuring. His estimate to ?install hose bib in garage and insulate most on vertical riser as possible? $435.  My actual cost to remove the drywall, solder the section of pipe broken, insulate the pipe, and patch drywall:  less than $100.00.  I?m not sure why his estimate included an install of a hose bib.
By the time they left, I had an written estimate for $700 for the two repairs.
Looking the paperwork associated with this Big Deal, of the 12 bulleted items, I did not get:
Discussion of the benefits of upgrading to a tankless water heater.
    Dye-testing all toilets.
Inspect all visible gas lines for potential damage; electronically testing for leaks.
    Flush water-heater tank.
Checking water-heater thermostat for proper operation.
Confirming that water-heater flue is venting properly.
Most times I have had great experiences with contractors on Angie?s List.   I felt a little sales pressure between the need to immediately replace my hot water heater and the estimate.  I did not receive a ?comprehensive plumbing inspection nor a water-heater flush.?  The primary reason I purchased this deal was to receive the hot water heater flush.  This one was an disappointment.

In response to Mr. Stanley's reply.  I never asked for an estimate for a hot water heater, I asked for a hot water heater flush which was not performed.  A HVAC friend is going to replace it at his cost when its time.

They were quick to schedule an appointment, and within a week we had our service call.  Jeff came out and was very professional.  He checked the toilet we had a problem with, and explained the problem and solution.  As he went through the house for the inspection, he patiently answered all our questions, including giving his experience with tank-less water heaters when we said we were interested in replacing our water heater.  We ended up getting a water gauge installed to regulate our water pressure from the city.  Very happy with the quality of work.  Outstanding company, and Jeff was outstanding.

Our hot water heater started leaking one evening just as I was preparing to go out of town for a wedding,
We drained the tank and I went onto Angie's List to research contractor to install a new tank.
Sent a message to Water Heater Services for a quote.  Curtis called me the next day (as I was travelling).
We were able to set up a date to install the new heater when I returned from my trip.
Curtis was prompt,(first appointment of the day) and in a couple hours he had the new tank in.
The last time I had the tank replaced it took them all day...so I was very pleased that by 10:30a.m. the job was done!
I made my decision to go with Curtis based on the very positive reviews an Angie's List and the fact that all he does is water heaters. His price was less than the other two quotes I obtained and then he also gives a very nice discount to Angie's List members.  I would recommend Water Heater Services to anyone needing a new hot water heater.
