Trying to complete a simple job. Ask them to come out and do gutter cleaning. First time a no show and after multiple attempts from my side they said that driver had a flat tire. They rescheduled it for one week out. Second time no show again and notified me at the end of the day. Then they offered to come back another week out. So frustrating and hard to get a hold of them.

    DreamHome
Do not use this company for roofing installation or repairs. They will slap new roofing and shingles on as quickly as possible regardless of any leaks or problems that may be present. They installed a new roof on our house in October 2017 over blackened, rotten wood and that slow leak made its way into our attic and now into our family room. We asked them to cover the interior damage caused by this error and they came up with every excuse and scenario possible to avoid taking responsibility. There are hundreds of roofing companies out there, FIND ONE THAT STANDS BY THEIR WORK and will take responsibility for their crew's oversights and negligence. We have worked with several contractors over the years and have never had an experience like the one with DreamHome Remodeling Inc. We purchased our home in May 2018 which had a new roof installed in October 2017 prior to being put on the market. Currently the roof is only 1 years old. Last week we had a massive rain storm and water started running down the walls into our family room and stains appeared within minutes on the ceiling. We went into the attic and water was pouring in from the roof. We have videos and pictures of this. The plywood on the roof is rotten, the wood on the side of the house is soft and rotten, the drywall is soft and crumbling, the insulation is soaked, and a load bearing beam under the leak is rotten. We called Dreamhome Remodeling that day since they installed the roof and its under 2 years old. They came out to investigate on 7/13/19. While the crew was there, they pulled up the roofing materials which revealed the wooden boards had extensive rotting as well as the wood at the base of the chimney where it meets the roof. It takes several years for wood to rot so much you can put your finger right through it and it is clear that this issue would have been present when Dreamhome replaced the roof in 2017. The project manager, Tony, said since the water is leaking down the side of the chimney and going through the roof it's not their problem. He also said that maybe the leak wasnt present when they replaced the roof. The 2 x 4 beam directly under the rotten plywood on the roof is so rotten you can put your finger down into it. There is no way a reputable company could have replaced a roof/ shingles without seeing the black stained and rotten wood that was present. Tony claims that the crew wouldn't have seen this problem since it had to do with the chimney so they are not liable. The wood around the base of the chimney, where it meets the plywood on the roof is black and rotten and would have been seen when a roofing contractor replaced the materials and flashing on the roof and around the chimney. The plywood on the roof that butts up to the chimney is also black and rotten which would have been clearly revealed when the roof was originally replaced. On 7/13/19 we sat up on the roof and watched DreamHome Remodelings roofers put the shingles back in place, as well as the roofing materials and flashing around the chimney. The workers and company manager that came out to inspect that day all agreed that the damaged area should have been seen when the roof was replaced. Now the project manager, Tony is saying that you couldnt see the damaged area when replacing the roof. There is no way to properly install the materials around the chimney without revealing the damaged area. There was also a brand new sheet of plywood on the roof directly below the rotten one that was installed by Dreamhome Remodeling when the roof was originally replaced in 2017. There is no way you could replace that bottom board without seeing the rotten one directly above it. Water has to run down the top board before it reaches the bottom board that was replaced. If Dreamhome had alerted the homeowner to this problem, instead of slapping a new roof over it, the problem would have been addressed before a new roof could have been installed. Now water has been slowly leaking into our attic, wooden structures, drywall, and insulation until it made its way into our family room. We understand that DreamHome Remodeling is not liable for the chimney leak, but because their roofers installed a new roof over an existing problem, their negligence has resulted in this slow leak causing extensive and expensive damage to our home. Dreamhome is refusing to repair the attic damage and interior damage that was a result of their negligence.

    Sunshine Contracting Corporation
Great job and great quality. They had a full schedule so it took several weeks before they could do the work, but they did a great job once they got started which is likely why they were in high demand

    American Home Contractors Inc
I had a good experience with American Home Contractors. We had quite a few companies approach us to replace the shingles due to a storm that recently passed by. AHC had a relatively better upfront presentation on all the work that would be performed including samples of what the various upgrades would be. Their prices are very competitive as well. Tyler was very responsive to working things out with me in terms of coordinating with the insurance companies. They handled the conversations with the insurance. Probably the most impressive was the the one day turnaround on the new roof. Both my neighbors had theirs replaced too and it took both 3-4 days. Overall, Im happy with the customer service Tyler provided me and the turn around time.

After severe storms in April, we needed the back half of our roof replaced. It was easy to talk with them but it took forever (several months) for them to come out and do the work. Our insurance cleared it so the holdup was not on that end. They would say a crew would be out but no one would actually show up that day. The work didnt get done until July/August. We havent had any issues though with the job so i think they did a good job. It just took a while to get started.

They came on September for a roof tune up which included minor repairs. The roof didn't have any leaks back then. They officially applied caulk and other regular minor maintenance stuff. The guy Will was very nice and they told me the roof needed to be replaced. They arranged a second visit. This second guy quoted a new roof and left as i told him wasn't interested yet. One week later rain happened and suddenly i detected a leak (for the first time since i moved into my place, the roof was ok before). I called them back and they said they couldn't come but withing the next two weeks. I said how is that possible the first appointment took days but the second one 2 weeks from now? Whatever I waited 2 weeks but on the scheduled day no one came. The first guy Will had a car accident and was off duty. The telephonist and coordinator Monique didn't re-schedule another appointment.. After calling several times they decided to come a week later and this third new guy which was also nice applied some caulk but wasn't 100% sure of the reason for the leak. A week later rain happened and i still have the leak. Don't know what to think about it. I would have never hire this roof tune up if i knew i would have ended with a leak and proposals to change my whole roof.

    Hill Roofing Corporation
Hill Roofing was great to work with from start to finish. The owner Leslie, gave by far the most thorough proposal out of the four companies from which we received quotes. The quote was competitive, so coupled with the professional proposal it made it easy to decide to go with Hill. Part of our replacement was covered by insurance. It was a little complicated (between us and our insurance company and mortgage company), but Hill stayed in contact until we were ready to execute the contract and move forward. The install was set up and work was completed all in one day. Cleanup after the job was good. A day or two later someone came out to inspect the work, see if we had any questions, and make himself available if anything came up in the future. It was actually a pleasure to work with them - especially since this project was a long time in coming (issues with our insurance company and what they would cover). I would definitely recommend Hill Roofing

    Omega Contracting LLC
Within 24 hours after a severe wind storm in March 2018, Alex came to my home to assess the damage. He is one of the most reliable, courteous, and professional workers I've ever known. Because I have also hired Omega to do my roof, I was quickly put on the schedule for replacement. Alex worked with my insurance estimator to make the process much smoother. During the roof replacement, a few of my window screens and sliding door screen were slightly damaged. I paid to have one fixed but Alex came and picked the others up and they were repaired with no hassle. I referred a nearby neighbor to your company too! He replaced his roof shortly after mine. I never got my referral bonus, but I did get immaculate and professional service. I would definitely hire again and will keep referring.

Donald and his team did a wonderful job. They arrived on-time, completed all work that was outlined in the proposal and left the work area cleaner then how they found it. I was very impressed with the level of service.

Next time we had heavy rain and high wind, the window still leaked. Called the company. Company said they would send their foreman out to investigate. He never came. Called again. Again they said they would send their foreman out. He never came. The company also said they only warrant their work for six months.
