    Abbey Design Center
It has been a great experience. From the first time we talked with Jimmy at the store to the times he can to measure and walk us thru what would look best in our space. The installation of the kitchen has been amazing. Jaime and Fernando were professional and friendly. We have enjoyed every step.

    Century Bathrooms & Kitchens
We were extremely satisfied with the work by Century on our bathroom redo. It was done on time and efficiently. All of the workers were professional in demeanor and in their work. The result of the bathroom work made the decision to hire Century again for out kitchen work very easy. The results were again very satisfying.

    Roger's Tile LLC
His team proved to have the experience and workmanship we had hoped for, and careful to minimize waste; so they provided value for the price. The work was also completed within a reasonable timeframe, . As a plus, Roger transported the tiles for us , made the right flooring transitions, and helped us with problem areas.

Burke Lumber DBA Fairfax Handyman Service
This partial bathroom renovation was started on May 22, 2017, and has not been completed to date. I have not been able to use the shower. I paid a total of $5,550 to Mr. Ronald Nystrom, of Fairfax Handyman Service, which included a new bathroom floor (5 X 7.5 but he did not tile underneath the 2 X 4 existing vanity) and removal of wall tiles and bathtub and adding porcelain tiles from ceiling to floor, a frameless shower door and shower pan. I paid for all materials. The total cost of this job was approximately $6,800.00. Mr. Nystrom stayed focus on the job and utilized time wisely; however, I wished I had questioned a few things I saw during the job. I had used him for two previous handyman jobsreplacing bathroom faucets and replacing ceiling fansthose jobs were fine. My bathroom renovation was not. It is a disaster. He mentioned he performs bathroom renovations and periodically makes a "deal" available to Angie's List customers. I did not see a deal at the time. Mr. Nystrom failed to clean the bathroom when he was finished. It was a mess! I actually cried when he left and then I got angry. He deducted $200 off the job so I could hire a cleaning company but when they saw it, they wouldnt touch it for that price. I have been on a ladder and on the floor in excess of 20+ hours with a razor blade scraping grout trying to straighten out grout lines to make them look more straight and professional. 1. He failed to seal grout lines that come in contact with water at the wall and shower pan. He didnt seal any grout lines at allfloor nor shower walls. Some of the grout at the shower pan has fallen out. Please see picture showing missing grout. 2. Silicone was left on my new glass shower doors. I have been using a product that I purchased from Amazon called Xenit to remove the silicone. 3. The silicone caulking on the inside of my of the shower door looked like a toddler did it. Please see picture. I am working now to remove it so I can hire someone to recaulk it. 4. The glass shower doors were installed backwards. He did come back on June 22 to reverse the shower doors and spent 5 hours cleaning the bathroom to make it look more presentable which helped but did not resolved all my issues. He told me he has installed hundreds of these doors. 5. There are uneven grout lines on the shower walls and bathroom floor where water and dirt will accummulate. While I have sealed it, I expect they will be problem areas. He also used tile that was cut short and used caulking to hide the gaps. 6. My left shower door does not go all the way into the shower door frame at the top. I called the manufacturer, DreamLine, and sent pictures and did measurements and concluded as you are looking at the shower, the left wall is not plumb by 1/4. The left shower door panel does not slide into the shower frame fully. It does at the bottom but not at the top where it is off by 1/4. The manufacturer explained there is no adjustment feature on my shower doors to correct this problem. MR. NYSTROM SHOULD HAVE INSURED THAT BOTH WALLS WERE PLUMB BEFORE INSTALLING THE SHOWER DOOR. You think with having installed hundreds of shower doors he would have known this. 7. The moulding and quarter round pictures speak for themselves. 8. The drywall finish and caulking finish are poor. Please see pictures of these issues. I have contemplated taking Mr. Nystrom to courtthe job performed was that bad. I have never take anyone to court over work performed in my home. As I was writing out the final check, he reminded me that most bathroom renovations cost $10,000 or more and I was getting this for $6,800. While that is true, all I asked for was a partial renovation replacing a bathtub with a shower, new wall tiles and new floor (size mentioned above). My bathroom vanity/sink, light fixture, toilet, bathroom fan, mirrornothing was replaced. I guess he was trying to make me feel good about only spending $6,800. After his last visit on June 22, I contacted him by e-mail still explaining I had issues with the bathroom and he offered to send me $300 to hire a handyman to fix the remaining issues. I did contact one company with highly recommended reviews on Angies List. His estimate was 2 to 3 days of work at a daily rate of $475.00, after the 1st day his labor rate was $50 an hour. At that rate, it would have cost me anywhere between $875 to $1,275. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I was limited to 10 pictures but I have many more. You decide whether you want to hire him to perform your bathroom renovation. The only way I will remove or modify this post if Mr. Nystrom will make good on these issues and fix what should have been done correctly the first time by paying the full amount to someone who can fix the caulking, woodwork, drywall blemishes and painting. Even with spending $6,800, I should of received a more professional product. My shower remains unusable. UPDATE 10/9/17: He sent $300 for me to hire a handyman to correct his mistakes, he was tied up on a big job. As I mentioned earlier, the first estimate I received was for $875-$1,275 to fix drywall issues, repaint the bathroom, grout issues, rebalancing the shower doors, uneven tile installation on both floor and wall, quarter round carpentry cutting mistakes which he used heavy amount of caulk to mask. Look at the pictures provided with my initial submission. I would hardly call sending me $300 on a $6,800 job "a partial refund." Bottom line: Cheaper is not always better. Lesson learned.

    Paint It All
Signed agreement to have job complete 12/24, finished 12/29. Late several hours everyday, only late 10min one day. One day he came at 11 (8am sheduled start time) as he ordered a new refrigerator and was waiting for delivery, while our refrigerator was in our living room. Pictures will show grout color discrempany- which was done with 2 batches. It was obviously user error, but was told this was the manafacturers problem. The nail through cabinet face was the quality finishing work we received. He offered to come back and fix the grout (at our cost) but we declined and stained half the floor to match one of the colors ourselves. They work hard, but would not hire this company again- need to value clients time a bit more.

    REYES PROFESSIONAL PAINTING
Working with Marcos and his team was great. I was able to talk via phone and more importantly via text. He would text message me pictures as the work was progressing to keep me up to date. Very easy to work with and will use him again when I fully renovate the bathrooms in a couple years. Highly recommend him for not only the great pricing but the high level of craftsmanship.

    Sav-On Floors
3 men showed up on schedule, Lead man left 2 inexperienced men to do the job. The installer damaged the edges of the flooring from improper installation technique(manufacturers rep). Floor is not straight when looking from flooring of adjacent room. Finish of some boards was inferior and should not have been installed. In the past the owner would come and inspect work of subcontractors. This did not happen even with several phone calls to Saaed. The cartons of flooring were picked up and placed against the freshly painted wall marking the finish and needing to be re-painted. The left over wood including scraps were scatted all over the garage several emails to Saeed went unanswered. Never will i use them again

    Century Bathrooms & Kitchens
We wanted to completely redo and enlarge our existing kitchen. Based on the space available our kitchen was specifically and individually designed to fully utilize every inch of space. In fact, we made no changes to the original design that was presented to us for consideration. The quality of the work is superb. All the workers were pleasant and very polite. We were not present during most of the kitchen project.....we gave Erika the key and did not worry about the honesty of the workers. The advantage of using Century Bathrooms and Kitchens is that they control all phases of the project from start to finish using their own employees. I would not hesitate to use them again and to recommend them for their honesty, fair price and quality of work.
