CertaPro Painters of Fairfax & Prince William
Repainting the stucco and wood exterior of our home was a major undertaking. After receiving a number of bids we selected Certapro because of the thoroughness of their description of work and willingness to address my concerns regarding the proper way of painting stucco which demands a delicate approach lest the finish be ruined. Certapro's crew arrived on time each day and spent a few minutes with me providing the day's plan. They did a walk around with me at the end of the day and cheerfully disposed of minor issues I spotted. They obviously take pride in their work product. The final result was outstanding and I am pleased to give them my highest recommendation.

    Patriot Painting
Powerwashed, caulked, scraped and sanded all surfaces, then painted exterior wood trim with premium paint, including soffits, trim, shutters, doors, windows, and gutters. Spot primed bare wood and repaired and painted rotted wood trim. The crew was totally professional, courteous, and given intermittent rain days, waited to ensure surfaces were ready for painting given weather and temperature swings. Further, the lawn and shrubbery areas were immaculate when they finished. The estimate was accurate accurate for painting, even with the delays, and the only variable was the carpentry that was certainly reasonable for this area. I highly recommend Patriot Painting. Scott was in constant communication either in person or by email and it was a pleasure working with him.

    Pro Edge Painting LLC
Pro Edge Painter, LLC and staff provided a fair estimate in a timely manner. When they were award the bid, they notified me of the payment procedures. Once the deposit was made, work started immediately within five days. The team of painters arrived on time each morning and clean up the site each evening prior to leaving. The foreman was most reliable. I left home each morning and left the entire house to him. Each even when I returned, doors and windows were closed and the home was intact. They painted the trim work entire around the house plus replaced any wood that had decayed or was damaged. Not only did they have the best price, but they were the most friendly painters I have encountered for a very long time. I think I will have them to return every three years... They were awesome!!

    Paint It All
Let me start off by saying that Jeremy is always late late late. Late for appointments, late for providing contracts, late for everything. He always has an excuse as to why he can't complete the job in a timely manner (family problems, other job, stressed out, etc). It took over a week just to get a contract. He didn't complete the job based on what I had requested. He would constantly lie and could never seem to fully comprehend my requests. When I complained that he didn't complete the job, he tells me through text "I can take care of it but it's not going to be inside 7 days I have a lot going on right now if you hadn't noticed". I text him 10 days later and he goes back to saying the job is complete. It took him 2 separate days (a few days apart) to do the exterior painting (cause he was late). He tells me he's going to do the job on a day that is going to rain. I tell him it's going to rain on that day. He said it'll be fine. He texts me on that day that he can't do it cause it's going to rain LOL. When I mentioned why there is a spot not painted on top of the front door trim, he responds with "is not visibly noticeable by the line of sight from the street". When I mentioned why he didn't caulk 90% of what I asked for, he said it's "at my discretion". During my complaints through text, he tells me "The way you were attacking me with all these messages seems like you have nothing going on in your life but to be concerned with all of this". Well I just got 1k stolen from me, of course I'm going to be concerned when you have 2 kids to take care of and are not in a position to throw away money. He also texted me "you've texted me over 30 times in the last hour and that's considered harassment" LOL ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? Unfortunately I couldn't fit all the things he didn't do in ONE text so clearly he missed a lot. The paint job on my front door trim is already ruined because of caulking he didn't do. When I complained about the front door trim already ruined due to rain (literally less than a week after the paint job), he tells me "that's how it's designed". I told him to go look at my neighborhood and see if anyone else has this issue! Jeremey is a headache that you don't want to deal with. I now have to find another contractor to complete the work I paid him to do. You end up being his manager because you have to REMIND him and keep up with him. If you paid him for a job and never contacted him again, he probably wouldn't contact you! STAY FAR AWAY!!! If you do decide to go with him, MAKE SURE the contract states everything you need in DETAIL. Or he'll find a way to not do the job and keep the money. I even hired a lawyer to sue him but decided to drop it because of time. Who has the time to deal with people like Jeremey?

    Pro Edge Painting LLC
Pro Edge Painting did an excellent job on our fence. They power washed it first and then restained it a few days later. This border fence is large, and it looks brand new. We are very pleased. They also communicated via email and were quick to reply to me. They kept their word in dealing with us. The price was even cheaper than their competition. Highly recommend!

    Helping Hands Handyman Services LLC
I called the owner, Nelson, to perform multiple types of repair items from fixing a drywall, to paint, to replace roof shingles, to fix plumbing issues to make my TH ready for sale. Nelson was prompt and punctual and met at the prescheduled time. He performed the work as he had promised in a timely manner to ensure it did not negatively impact the sale of the house. I was pleased with the work and hired him for another work. I will highly recommend them for your house work.

    Pro Edge Painting LLC
This was a great experience. Pro Edge is very professional and the quality of their work is outstanding. We have had other painting contractors in the past, but they don't compare favorably to Pro Edge. I would hire them again without hesitation. They may be slightly higher priced than others performing similar work in our area, but it is well worth it.

It went well. J.R. did a site survey and pulled together a quote within a week of our first contact. He is responsive on email, which helped us address questions quickly and schedule a time for the project. As an example, we initially did the estimate assuming that the rain gutters and downspouts would be painted. Upon learning from Leaf Guard that this would negate the lifetime warranty, J.R. agreed to paint around the them and deducted the paint from the original estimate. The work team was polite and nominally on time. They left the job site cleaned up every day. They did a great job replacing the bad wood on the back deck with PVC and straightening out the warped boards on the front porch. They did a combination of spray, hand rolling and hand painting. The operations manager sent me a daily email which informed me of the progress made relative to the overall plan. The project was completed in less than a week and the house looks great.

This company had our complete confidence from the beginning estimate until the completion of the project, for example, during the estimate they showed a knowledge of the current paint on our walls and pointed out things that really didn't need to be done like the woodwork and molding is beautiful doesn't need paint. The workers arrived at the exact time planned each day. They worked very efficiently and professionally. We were pleasantly surprised by how they moved and replaced all of our items in the exact places with no damage. We have hardwood cherry floors, and my china cabinet is filled with my grandmothers 19th century discontinued china. They moved it without one dish out of place. I left early one day while they were painting the kitchen area, planning to come home and replace all of the collectible items that were placed above my kitchen cabinets. I walked in and everything was back in the exact place. I said how did you do that? They took a picture so they could remember where everything was to be placed. Ed and his crew were amazing. They were friendly and really took pride in their work. Also, since we were having complete levels painted, I was very concerned about choosing the wrong colors that wouldn't work together. Pro Edge sent Christine, an interior designer, to my home to help me coordinate the colors and make sure everything would work. After choosing the colors, I was so excited and ready to proceed. Our home looks beautiful. They did an excellent job and we will definitely use them again.

The estimate was provided by Jeremy Thompson. Jeremy was very professional, personable and thorough in identifying the work to be done and letting me know what I could expect from the painters. The work was completed by Ed Salazar and his crew and appears to have been done in a good workmanlike manner, which is exactly what I expected.  Ed and his crew were always on time, extremely diligent and hardworking and treated my wife and I with courtesy and respect.  Ed was always eager to know if I had a problem with anything, and answered and addressed my every question and concern.  Considering all this, I think Pro Edge is fortunate to be able to employ such a high-quality professionals.
