    Houser, Dr. Chris
Andrea my hygienist is knowledgeable and has a great personality. She does a thorough cleaning without causing pain. Its a small family practice and everyone there is friendly soft spoken and know dentistry. I see Andrea every six months and look forward to my visits.

    Houser, Dr. Chris
The crown was made in the office so no extra steps and it fits perfectly.  Great doctor and staff.  This is the 4th crown and they all went well.  I highly recommend Dr. Houser and his staff is the best.

    Artisan Dental Institute
I've been a patient at Artisan Dental Institute for seven years.  I had extensive (and expensive) work done by Dr. Ghannam.  Several root canals and caps on four or five teeth.  The work done was terrific.  I had some feeling after a root canal and Dr. Ghannam sent me to a specialist who examined me and didn't find any problems.  He commented that Dr. Ghannam does excellent work.  I agree.  The office staff are friendly and cordial.  Due to the cost of all the work I was having done payment plan was agreed to and effectuated.  Overall I am extremely pleased with Dr. Ghannam's services.  I have moved and he is now about 45 minutes away but I continue to go there and plan on doing so in the future.

It went well. The new patient testing is impressive and includes the following:
    1. Digital panoramic views of jaw teeth and gums
    2. Complete intra and extra oral evaluation
    3. Evaluation of your jaw for any joint problems.
    4. Digital xrays of all teeth
    5. Digital magnified photos to locate microfractures, corrosion and other irregularities of the teeth
    6. Diagnostic impressions of your teeth to determine if there are any problems with your bite
7 Heart rate variability testing, blood pressure, EKG reading, heart rate and oxygen level
    8. Electronic measurement of any dental force imbalances.
    9. Range of motion of your head and neck
    10. Postural analysis to evaluate misalignment
During my initial consultation, Dr. Sam noted that I almost had a blockage in the back of my throat which explained why I have difficulties taking pills. It's something I didn't know about myself.
The extraction procedure went well. I was given plasma rich growth factors from my own blood. It enabled me to heal quicker than normal. My other dentist said it could take 3-6 months to heal. My gums healed in about a month.
I like the office and especially the lending library.
My only concern was the $150 deposit to hold an appointment with Dr. Sam. I think it is unnecessary and takes advantage of patients. If you are 15 minutes or more late, your appointment may be rescheduled.

    Gainesville Family Dentistry
I had been a patient of Dr Goswami's for 3 years.  There are 2 sister in practice together, both are Terrible!  The office is small(which is no prob), no frills, no dental hygienist (they do the cleanings themselves), and outdated technology.  I will make this as short as I can, as I gave them 3 years.
My main complaints: I went in after 2 years of only cleanings & no dental issues for a night guard.  It took 5 visits!  The 1st guard was thrown out as they could never get it to fit.  The second one fit better, but I complained it was tight and felt like it pulled my teeth back.  DR G. kept saying it was suppose to fit that way.  A year later my teeth are crooked and NO LONGER meet in the front!!  Despite my continued complaints!!  During the guard fitting process the Dentist brought out molds that were NOT in the blue sterile packaging.  While fitting me for size, she dropped old pieces of plaster into the back of my throat AND didn't notice (I had to sit up and cough them out)!  I asked what was falling into my mouth, (as we were not to the plaster part yet), and she mumbled it was part of the mold itself.....?  (rrrrrright)!
After having no cavities in the past I came in for a cleaning and was told I had a cavity.  Cleanings were one thing, but after the guard issues I consulted 2 other dentists.  I was told there was NO CAVITY there!!!!!!  (REALLY)!!!
Small concerns:  The front office staff is nice enough, but in no way polished.  For 3 years they SAID they were getting a dental hygienist and never did (I didn't care, but don't LIE and SAY I should see one on my next visit!!)  The office could use a VERY good cleaning/dusting.  They don't use digital XRAYS, which doesn't allow the best imagery and exposes one to higher levels of radiation than necessary.  At the times of my visits they had no place for my coat or purse (NO frills joint).  They have not upgraded or improved anything in 3 years!!!

I got my crown put in. It went well. There was an issue where, I guess, he couldn’t figure out the insurance coverage but, actually currently reached out to my provider and they had an issue with the receipt that his office provider so I have to called them about that. So, other than that, his customer service seems to be pretty good and he is exceptionally put in my crown.  What stood out to me about him was his bedside manner and that he seems to really care about the service he is providing.  The office is really nice and has a comfortable environment.

    Nelson Dental Practice
. Nelson was recommended by a neighbor.  I am so glad I took her advice and scheduled an appointment.  I had a very thorough check-up and was pleased by the friendliness of the doctor and the staff.  Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to family and friends.

    Lifetime smiles
I found this office through neighbor recommendations and here on Angie's List, developing high expectations along the way. They were exceeded. The assessment was more thorough than any I've ever had in any dental office yet they didn't do anything unnecessary. For example, they knew I'd had recent x-rays in my previous dentist's office and rather than repeating them they had me sign a request form and had them sent over. There was no rush at any point to get me in and out, yet the appointment was timely and thorough. It was clear from talking to the dental assistant that they had read my history and other pre-appointment documentation and understood the important points from it all. The office was clean, well appointed, and functional. The staff were friendly, responsive, and professional. I got the services I needed and plan to make this my permanent dentist's office. While I am not dental-squeamish I am certain this office would be good for those who are. For everyone, squeamish or not - if you need a dentist in the Haymarket area, look into this office; you won't be disappointed.

I am very happy with them. They are great. They are timely, professional, and very friendly and it is a very nice facility. I am a gab analyzer by nature and I have no improvement to suggest for them, they are good. Their office is new, its clean and it is a nice place to be in.
