    Basement Masters Waterproofing
I found a foundation crack and leak that was on one wall in our storage room of the basement. Basement Masters came out and took a look, explained what needed to be done and after things thawed out a bit in the spring, works was performed. Foundation by house was excavated, sealed and a drain put in. Guys were as neat as you can be with six feet of muddy earth to deal with. WE are time and very professional. Leak was mostly cleared up but still had some seepage as spring wore on, so they came back out and epoxyed the inside wall where the leak was. I was told this should have been done at the time the original work was completed but was overlooked. But they handled it promptly and so far no water since (fingers crossed). It's been a fairly dry summer so we will see how the fall goes. Communication was primarily by email and left messages for Basement Masters. I had read other reviews that the communication with BM needed to be better and I'd have to agree after my experience. Actual work and professionalism was great, but communication still needs to be better, which is the only reason I did not give a 5 for Responsiveness.

    Basement Masters Waterproofing
I simply cannot say enough good things about BMW - super reliable, great people, very professional and trustworthy. They are the BEST, and my experience with them puts BMW at the very top of the many contractors who have done work for us. Unhesitatingly - they have earned the highest ratings possible.

    Basement Masters Waterproofing
Company provided evaluation of the problem and estimate to repair within 48 hours of request for service --representative who did
on-site assessment was extremely knowledgeable and professional advising of alternatives to effect the needed repair -taking great
effort to advise of best way to deal with the matter in the least expensive manner -- company provided a five year warranty and
pictures of the leak and various stages of repair including pictures of the completed job.  I would most highly recommend this company
for such work - done in the greater Washington, D.C. -northern Virginia area

    Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing of VA
We have had a small problem with a crack in our basement with a little dampness recently. Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing was at a Fall Festival so we signed up for a free estimate. We have had 2-3 appointments so far and we will not be making any additional. They have been very insistent that both my husband and I be home. They did actually come for one appointment (after cancelling a couple days earlier) but it was 2 hours earlier than expected on a Sunday and it was at an inconvenient time. Just seems like a lot of hassle and odd business practices. From some other reviews, I think it is because they want an on-the-spot decision. The whole thing doesn't seem right so we won't even be getting an estimate.

    ServicePro Express Inc
From beginning to end, the entire team of ServicePro Express was extremely cordial and professional. We had at least two to six employees in the house at any given time. When the remodel began, I had been recovering from major surgery and the employees were so accommodating to my special needs, were consciously quiet yet efficient, and very quick to finish each task without affecting the quality of the service.  We also have three dogs and worked with us while we would move them around the house as they worked - it didn't affect their work nor our need to care for the dogs.
The team would arrive on time every day, would immediately begin working, break for lunch and return on time. When they arrived they knew exactly what their tasks were for that day. If an impromptu request to do another task was asked of them, there was no complaining, no excuses (as you often hear from other companies) and would switch tasks and complete them without any incident. In other words, their team was always completely flexible.
We immediately noticed how professional the team was with all assignments and all personal matters. Not one of the employees would waste time chatting with each other or with us.  No one spent any time on personal phone calls.  I think in three months one of the employees was sick one day and on another day the team couldn't come due to snow.  No one left early for the day, they put in a complete 8 hour day, every day, and were constantly working during the entire day except for lunches.
Our remodel was estimated to take two and a half months. It ended up taking three months but that was because we had added on additional work.
We are 100% pleased with ServicePro Express and would recommend them to anyone. We will definitely use them for any work we need in the future.

The plumber replaced our sump pump, and added a backup pump and also battery backup. Basement Masters got no compensation, even though they well deserved it!
