    Day 1 -- 10 AM. "we're backed up. Come back tomorrow at 8:30." Day 2 -- 8:30 AM. "we're backed up. Come back Monday morning at 8." Day 3 -- 8:00 AM. "we're backed up. Come back tomorrow at 7:30." Day 4 -- 7:30 AM. "the inspectors don't even get here until 8:30." I suppose someone found that amusing, but we did not, and shall not return. Ever. Shame on us for going back at all. Stopped at another inspection station nearby and got in and out in roughly 30 minutes.

    I had been taking my Sienna van to Piedmont for all service since I bought it in 2013. All work was good until the last visit. They stripped one of the lug nut studs and didn't offer to replace it. I know that it was their fault because like I said, they were the only shop to ever service the vehicle and I had never removed any of the lug nuts. They returned the vehicle to me and handed me the one loose lug nut and stated that they would order a new lug nut stud to replace it at my cost. I declined after they said it would be about $100 installed. Piedmont also stripped out my friends oil pan threads where the plug goes and wanted $600 to replace it, again they were the only shop to service his vehicle for the last several years. He declined and then they offered to replace his oil pan for the cost of the parts only (basically admitting that it was their fault but still not offering to cover the complete cost.) It cost him $150 for the new oil pan. FYI, oil pan threads should never strip if the plug is properly installed, they are always covered in oil! After these 2 incidents neither of us will ever take our vehicles to either of their locations in the future. Their mechanics need to stop using impact guns to tighten lug nuts, oil pan plugs, and other parts. All decent mechanics know to use torque wrenches at the proper setting to properly replace these parts. If they are going to go for speed instead of proper procedures then they need to respect their customers by replacing the items that they break.

    Piedmont Tire & Auto
    Piedmont normally had done a fair job with our vehicles but on this visit They stripped one of the Wheel Lugs and wanted us to pay $150 to fix it. I know they were responsible because we have had the vehicle for 4 years and they were the only shop to ever remove any of the wheels. They probably tried to replace the lug nuts to quickly and stripped the threads on the lug. If you damage a customers vehicle, you should own up to it and repair whatever you damaged. Afterwards I found out that they also stripped the oil pan threads on my neighbors car and wanted $250 to replace it. They ended up calling the cops on him because he refused to pay it, after yelling at him in front of other customers! Me or my family will never use them again!

    It was free, my car is on a plan. I paid for it when I bought my car. I bought a maintenance package when I purchased my car. So it was paid for at a different time. I'm not going back. They don't deliver as promised and it's not very timely. The workers were fine that time. In previous times, they were pretty snotty.

    I was extremely dissatisfied. They were very personable upfront and very nice. They got the job done in a hurry and recommended repairs which I agreed to. What they recommended that I have repaired failed within about 500 miles and stranded me in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and then they refused to warranty the work. They just shrugged their soldiers and said, "Oh well that was something else." The Toyota dealer in Tuscaloosa, Alabama had said that a belt was improperly installed and tensioned and the other work they did was shoddy. I received no satisfactory resolution from Warrenton Toyota on that. In fact, Tuscaloosa Toyota said that the repair that they did for me, they have never had a customer pay for it. They've always had it covered by Toyota under warranty. So, Warrenton Toyota get none of my business. I thought since it had to do with the engine they may be able to do it better. They did that and they broke my exhaust manifold while I was in there. They claimed it was broken when I brought it in. I had never heard such a sound when I got it out of there. That was another $1400 or $1500. By the time I got out of the place, it was $5500 worth of repairs. Then it broke down the road in Alabama. I had used them for oil changes and such in the past and they had been fine. I would grade the professionalism at check in an 'A,' and on customer service, I would grade it 'F.'

    Upon arriving I was greeted by a courteous sales person. But then was told that they would need to about you wait my car and had to fill out a sheet stating what my purpose was. After completing it waiting almost 2 hours they came out and offered me not even what bluebook would give me for my car. Then when I challenge them they basically said that this sheet is just shows how they would adjust based on what car I would purchase.

    Haymarket Motors is what a Garage is supposed to be. Quickly found the problem, told me how long it would take and delivered ahead of schedule. What I appreciate most is that they fix things and don't just do wholesale parts replacement. My wife and I both trust them to do what is needed to keep the cars safe and running after 250,000 miles on one and 200,000 on the other. They are never trying to upsell me on services that I don't need and let us know when something isn't worth fixing.

    Can't recommend Haymarket motors strongly enough.

    I brought my RV as I was told by another garage, during a safety inspection, that I needed to change the ball joints on it.  I had discussed over the phone with one of Rice's Service manager and considering the brand of my RV and the work needed, he told me that there would be a charge of approximately $900.00 for time plus parts.  The service manager suggested that I bring the RV tso they could have a look at it.  He called me within an hour and told me that the ball joints did not need to be replaced and that everything was fine.
    He ended up completing my security inspection and charging only the regular inspection fee i.e $16.00.   
    I sure will go back there when service will be needed on my RV.
    This is really what I call honesty.  Thanks for a great service.

    Call John and made an appt to get our oil changed and have the brakes looked at from having them previously put new brakes on our Lexus. My husband didn't like how they were preforming. Mention this to John so when we brought it in for our 160000 mile check up and oil change he inspected brakes found an issue with the caliper in the rear. Replaced the them fixed part of the issue but the pads and rotors under warranty and it feels like a brand new car. Price is as good as if can be.
