    These people do first rate work.  When I got the car back the damage was entirely undetectable, the paint match was spot on. They called me during the job to tell me that their'd be a slight delay.  One of the replacement parts specified by the insurance company was after market and of poor quality.  After clearing with the insurance company they used an OEM replacement part.
    The young lady who schedules and coordinates the work is helpful and pleasant as is the owner.

    Earl is extremely friendly and 100% customer oriented. He worked with us on sourcing more affordable parts as it is an older vehicle. He also honored windshield replacement pricing from another company as I had to replace the windshield from an unrelated incident and was coming up on a State inspection. Overall, it was in the shop for about 7 days but the quality was top notch. He should be moving to another location (March 2015 or so)  as the bldg. he is in was sold but check out his webpage. You can't beat the price nor quality. It is hard to find honest and hardworking folks like Earl that are excellent at their craft and take a lot of pride.

    I backed into her car in my driveway. I broke out her front headlights because I drive an SUV and she had a smaller car. So it had scratches. We spent about $690. He was super quick about coming out. He's responsive, he does excellent work and travels to your location. There were a lot of auto detailing places around us and none of them could get me in. So he was the only one.

    From start to finish here the service was excellent. I had recently dealt with a different autobody shop and their service was horrible. The service and work done at D & V was awesome. So I can really appreciate good service. My customer rep. John Casey did a great job keeping me updated with the latest on my vechicle. Would definitly recommend D &V.

    I first want to say that the quality of work done here was excellent. But the poor customer service dulled my experience here greatly. I was told on several times that my car would be ready on so and so date. When the date would arrive I would not receive any calls to update me on the latest. I would have to call many times to find out the status of my car. The rep. was very rude and had a very nonchalant attitude. If they improved their customer service this could be a great body shop.

    My neighbor backed into my vehicle and scratched my front bumper.  I went to artisan's on a recommendation from a neighbor.I had no problems with estimates, and when it came time to take it in for repairs, things went smoothly.Before leaving the shop, I lifted my hood to inspect how things were placed back on my vehicle.  They did not place the grill cover on correctly.  I went back to the shop to have this fixed.  When they removed it, to place it on correctly I noticed that the grill brackets were broken.  How can one fix a bumper, without noticing the brackets were broken.  They stated that this was due to the "accident" but failed to write this in their invoice.  Luckily, because insurance was paying for this, they did not hesitate to fix it.
    Once I got home, I wanted to further inspect their work.  I got under my vehicle and noticed that SEVEN bumper clips were missing. I have never had any repair on my vehicle, or been in an accident.  How do 7 clips go missing? I am the ONLY person that has worked on my vehicle.  IN fact, I am a bit anal about bumper clips missing that I have a whole bag full of clips.  HOW IS THIS ACCEPTABLE!!!!!

    My insurance company gave me 3 body shops to choose from when I filed my claim. I chose Ray's because of their great Angie's List reviews. They arranged to tow my car away on Friday, Feb 11 and I received an estimate that evening. I was told work would begin on Monday and the car would be ready on Friday, Feb 18. I received a call on Friday that my car was ready for pickup (at rush hour). After the hour long drive to get to their shop (only 6 miles from my place) I handed them my deductible and they handed me the keys. When driving out of their lot, I could tell that something was terribly wrong. The wheel felt (and sounded) like it was going to fall off of the car. **Note - this was the reason the car was TOWED in the first place.** We drove the car back and got the excuse that when the car was tested, the driver had the radio up too loud and could not hear the noise. #1 - Why are you listening to the radio when you are testing a car? Aren't you supposed to be listening for irregularities? #2 - You could FEEL this issue with the wheel, there was really no need to hear it. After apologies by the staff, I was told that they would have the car ready Monday evening. **Also note that I was in a rental the entire time, granted my insurance covered it, it is the principle of the matter that they had to pay for extra days rental due to an error by the body shop.** I FINALLY received my car back on Wednesday, Feb. 23. It was not clean and shiny like it was presented on Friday, the 18. I had to ask one of the employees to try and remove some spots from the door that were not able to "rub" off. He had to use some kind of cleaner to remove the spots. I will give Ray's a good mark in that the work on the body looks great and it is now driving well, all seems fine. However, I am very displeased with the lack of communication and the terrible excuse for not having fixed the wheel on Friday, the 18. I made it clear as to the reason the car was not driveable, so they should have had the wheel on their list to fix. I am completely confused as to how that was missed. My father (a former mechanic) went with me on the 18th to pick up the car. He apparently expressed his displeasure. So, when I arrived on the 23rd, I was actually told by an employee that he was glad that I had not brought my father back. That was a back-handed slap in the face. I guess he assumed his radio excuse worked with the female. Not pleased with this outfit at all.
