Appliance Repair reviews in Gainesville

    Springbrook Appliance LLC
Jameson was very easy to contact, and was able to come for an appointment the day after I called. He arrived within the designated time window, and texted when he was on his way. He identified the problem quickly and had the parts with him necessary to fix the issue. He was very respectful, and took care to not damage anything while taking apart the dryer. He cleaned up everything after he was finished. I would certainly hire him again.

My fridge wasn't working properly, they gave me a $550ish quote to fix my fridge under option A and $450ish under option B, apparently the main board was broken which according to online research was the least common cause for the type of malfunction I was having. The price was negotiated down to $375 in worst case scenario but I didn't go through the repair. Now they are saying that the $69 fee for the visit should NOT have been counted (although you always pay for it either you choose not to repair it or if you do as it acts as credit towards total cost but you have to pay for it, its a sunken cost. So their reply is deceiving and incorrect. The customer service of the headquarters is good though.

    All Appliance Solutions
We contacted All Appliance Solutions (APS) who came to our home the next day and repaired it quickly. The technician was very professional and courteous. Prior to our calling APS, we had contacted another appliance repair company whose representative was unable to repair it and recommended we acquire a new oven. We also had an electrician visit us who said it would be difficult o repair the oven because of the way it was wired . APS saw no problem with the wiring and recommended we place the magnetron and capacitor which the repair man had available in his truck. We also had to replace the mica cover plate which we ordered on line to install ourselves. The repair was completed in about an hour. The technician tested it to sure it worked. We are very pleased and will recommend APS as well as use them again if needed.

Company promised an appointment time frame. 45 minutes before the time frame ended, I still had not received a call. I went to the store and was advised that the technician was unable to make the given appointment. At no time was I notified by the company. They wasted my time and we're highly unprofessional. I contacted American Home Warranty and advised them of this experience. Their Vendor Relations Department was notified.

They had an opening and scheduled me for same day service. I was sure my dryer would be out while they waited for parts but they had seen this problem often enough that they brought the likely parts with them. As soon as he got here the tech took off his shoes to help things stay clean and asked for symptoms. Rather than just start replacing parts he confirmed the problem and then replaced only the parts required. While he had the dryer apart he checked on the stuff, tightened and adjusted things and cleaned out the chassis. Very thorough, very clean, very polite and left no mess.

Price was less than expected and he broke down the cost of the

    parts and the service (reasonable)

    Definitely use again.

    Expert Appliance Services
We contacted this company based on the reviews. He arrived during the estimated time frame. Unfortunately, after working on our dryer he diagnosed the problem as a broken "mother board" despite all lights working and no error code appearing. We were charged the appointment fee and were informed that it would likely cost at least $300 to repair and he would contact us with an estimate the next day when he locates the part. We received a voicemail saying that the part would cost over $400 and take 2-3 weeks to arrive. During this time we made an appointment for a second opinion.  We just received service today and our machine was fixed within 5 minutes. The mother board was clearly not broken and a connection simply needed to be tightened. Luckily, we were saved from making a very costly mistake. I wish I could get my $60 back but unfortunately our check has already been cashed.

UPDATE: We just received a check from Expert Appliances to reimburse us for the cost of the visit. Very impressed by how they handled this matter.

Very poorly. You work in the DMV your commute is sometimes going to take 45 minutes, get over it or don't offer service to people living that far away.
I'm selling my house, I don't have time to waste waiting days for a tech that stood me up.

We had a phantom leak on our dishwasher. He took the bottom off, and stayed for nearly half an hour to see if there was leak, but there was no leak. He only charged me for a service call, and said that that amount can always be put towards repairs if any are needed in 90 days.

He told me that if the leak does show up, to call the office and they'd come right back.

He accurately diagnosed the problems, installed the new icemaker in a matter of minutes, cleaned up, defrosted things that had been frozen.  He waited until the icemaker started running again.  It has worked perfectly.  We have used Alan for numerous appliance disasters and he has always come through.
