  • The antique store is very large and has a vast array of items fromantique furniture to smalls including lamps, crystal, vases, oriental items and lots of framed pictures. Customer service was excellent! They even do custom painting & staining to repurpose old furniture. If you are in the area be sure to check them out!

  • My visit to this antique store in Front Royal, VA was great! This is a large antique store that has everything from antique furniture to smalls which include jewelry, lamps, mirrors, vases, crystal, etc. Lots of framed pictures to choose from! Customer service was excellent! They even do custom painting and staining to repurpose furniture. I definitely recommend you stop in and shop with Brown's Pastimes. Quality of items are wonderful and prices reasonable.

  • Greg Laird is the owner. They give excellent service. The last two computers I have bought from him. I have been using their service since about 2000. Greg is tops and so are the people who work for him. This service was free because it was fairly simple to resolve. It was not some major thing. The price seems like it is the same throughout the area.

  • Things with them have gone fair. I would not say good, I would not say bad. Where we live there is only one server and right now that is Century Link so I don't have any choice as to who I use. I think their customer service rates about a C and it is frustrating dealing with them on the phone, absolutely frustrating. As far as delivery of product I have no complaints, but I can't tell you how their product compares to others because I have no comparison. When you call in you spend at least an hour being bounced from one person to another or on hold. It is the most disgusting process I have ever seen. Every month they automatically deduct the amount of the bill from my checking account. They notify me by email. All of a sudden the emails stopped so I tried for five months to get them to continue the service but they never did. One of their ladies told me they were not paying any attention to me so it took five months just to get my notification back.

  • greeted asked what services I needed. I was then sent to a pedicure chair with cold water. When I was asked if the water was too cold they turned on the hot then they left it on and it burnt my feet the pedicure preceded during the pedicure my cuticles were cut to the point of bleeding which has never happened to me anywhere else.I was the only client in the entire location.The gentleman then recommended a clean up waxing for my eyebrows this service was ok.  After the pedicure I was led to a table to do my nails I was alarmed and shocked that my pedicure basin was not cleaned or sanitized especially since he had not only cut my toes open once but three times during the process of my pedicure and my fear of exposure to previous peoples germs at that point or infection became a concern.I had requested a manicure with gel polish done in French .The gentleman told me there would be no damage to my nails but I should go ahead and do an acrylic overlay with the pink and white powder.  My nails now feel like I have exposed nerves and they look terrible I have requested my money back and I'm going to be going to another place to have this stuff removed.  My nails are ruined and now trying to recover them before my Wedding has me beyond upset.

    Update: 3/2/15:  I went back to get my money back.  When I showed up he demanded that he remove the nails before he would give me my money back.  He said he would only give me a gift certificate.  He grinded my nails so far the first time, I refused to let him touch them again.  My nails were so in so much pain, I wasn't going to have him use his drill again.  He also lied to me and said his name was Charlie when in fact he was the owner.  I ended up going to another nail salon and they had to use a topical anesthetic to remove the nails.  He was unable to remove all of the gel because my nails were grounded so thin that if he would have went that deep it would have hit my nail bed.  He said it would take months before my nails were healed all the way.

  • Everything went very well. They handled the paperwork exceptionally well.  Our real estate agent coordinated everything with them. What impressed me is Jim was there for the closing. Everything was flawless and painless.

  • Internet is often slow or completely down. It's very discouraging, especially as I have a home-based business. My work requires ethernet connection, and it is often unreliable, at the most critical times. Centurylink techs have stated they are working to improve these problems. However, that was about three months ago and I see no improvement in speed or reliability. Also, I was explained that their access lines are fully loaded with customers and until a customer drops, I can't expect to get faster speed. 
    As to answering the above question, "Would you use this provider in the future?" I can't really answer "yes" or "no" because as far as I know, this is the only ethernet provider in the area. If there were another, I would certainly research it.

  • After waiting an extra three hours on the tech to show up he finally did arrive but was extremely thorough with his installation. To his credit he did call to let me know that he was going to be late. After surveying my existing equipment he checked out the dish and cabling that was in place and determined that I would need a completely new dish and spent plenty of time not cutting any corners to install correctly, removing existing cabling and rerouting new wires. He even took the time to show me all the features of the genie and make sure that I was comfortable with its operation before he left.

  • I truly enjoyed taking Art Lessons from Leah. I have no background in oil painting and have always wanted to learn to paint, but was concerned whether I would be able to paint anything I could enjoy. Leah is a very patient and will accomplished artist that made me feel comfortable in learning and provided me with techniques that helped me to paint pictures that I was truly proud of.
    I took the beginning series of 6 lessons and the first class I was able to paint a seascape. As the lessons went on I grew more and more confident (and proud of my projects!). I intend to continue with her intermediate class. I really enjoy the classes! She is an amazing teacher. Throughout the class she kept telling us that and quot;we couldn't make a mistakeand quot; and her teaching style guaranteed that was the case.
