AVista Construction Group, LLCWhat a great company to work with. Always on time and work full days. Our walkout basement was completely unfinished. They finished about 1800 square feet and I couldn’t be any happier with the work. I am a glass artist and had been using part of the unfinished area for my studio and dreamed of the day when I would have a proper area to work in. I designed the studio space knowing what I would need and the room is perfect. They did everything I wanted and needed. It is everything I wanted and dreamed of. The rest of the basement is a nice open area. They built a beautiful bathroom, we have a area just waiting for a big bar to be put in place. We have a exercise area too. My husband is thrilled with the size of tv we were able to get. What we thought would be an area we wouldn’t use much has become the place we are in every evening. We still have an unfinished area for storage. The basement is perfect. This is the third project I have had Vista do for us. I won’t hire anyone else. The quality of the work is outstanding. If you want anything done in your home you can’t go wrong hiring this company. The first photo is my studio area before the work was started. Last photo is my studio completed. AThe Drying CoThis is a copy of my email sent to them 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard back from them 😒 I wanted to share my feedback from my experience with The Drying Company. 1/ KNOWING YOUR PRODUCT The salesman assured me that they would be able to spray foam on existing insulation (Ceiling + Wall) because they have the best foam. When I asked him a second time, after another company told me that it would not work, he reassured me that it will work. So I signed with them. And when your technicians came on site, it did not work. BUMMER 2/ RECHARGING A LIFT => BEING EFFICIENT I provided a scissor lift for the technicians. And after working the whole day, they did not plug the lift in to recharge overnight. So when they arrived around 8 o'clock on Friday they could not work. 3/ CLEANING => DOING A NEAT JOB After the work was completed: The trash can was left full inside the warehouse. (See picture attached). The plastic protection was rolled up and dropped outside the warehouse alongside the dumpster (See picture attached). I have drops of spray foam on the drywall which was painted the week before they started the work & a BIG CHUNK above the restroom. (See picture attached). I am sorry but this is not acceptable. For a $35,000 job, I expected more professionalism. Even from the first day, when we had to unload your products from the truck, things were not as expected. I know when they come to do a job that it will be within my financial constraints and that they will do an excellent job. BThe Drying CoEverything started very good. I received a call the same day to schedule the initial appointment. Matt the salesman was on time and very professional. I had to wait two weeks for the installation, that was not a problem. I was contacted about 2-3 days before the scheduled installation date and I was told that they overbooked some jobs and needed to move the installation one day. I had no problem with that. I was scheduled for 3 days in a row to complete the job. The crew showed up in time and completed the first part of the job, a second crew and the remaining part. That's when the problems started. I sat in my house for the next two days waiting for someone to show up to complete the work. I received a call at the end of the second day to let me know that I was scheduled for the next day, at this time I was not able to accommodate that request because I had family coming on that day for one day (Friday). Then I was told that I would receive a call on Friday to schedule another day to complete the work. I received a call 4 days later to tell me that my work will be completed a month later because they were booked up. On top of that, they told me that someone had tried to contact me several times and couldn't reach me. That was a lie, no one called me. At this time, I decided to canceled the remaining work , I was not going to wait another month to complete my work for their lack of communication and follow up. Then I received an email trying to schedule my work for the next Saturday, they were making an exception to help me. Really? Why that option was not available before, specially when I have been very flexible with them. I decided to cancel the remaining work anyway. The quality of work is good, Matt was great,but the admin office really needs to follow up when they suppose to. Don't make promises that you can't keep and don't lie trying to cover your lack of planning and communication. That's why I'm given them a B on my review.- Jose S.

DParamount Builders IncHad a 15 year old kid dropped off to do the majority of the work removing the siding. Since the new siding has been installed it has fallen off the house at least 5 times now. Pieces are not finished and the workmanship look like crap to put it nicely. Majority of the repairs for the siding falling off the house has consisted of the young 15 year kid, literally got his drivers license last month, putting a few nails in the trim that has since fallen off the house again. Paramount builders is nothing more than a fast sale scam. what good is descent quality material if i falls off the house every other day.- Don W.

BJES Foundation RepairOverall they did a good job. However he project did not start or end on as scheduled. I had to tell them multiple times about things they had not done as contracted. The county inspector indicated that they had not done something right but it was over a month before they came to fix it and that was only after I called to to ask about it. The Office staff to which I communicated the problems were helpful and responsive to each of my calls. I waited for months to receive the final bill for the project and only received it after I called asking about it.- David P.

Tony, from Lux, showed up before the appointed time, was very professional, was thorough in evaluating the foundation issue, took pics of the area in question, was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to about the issue, and he provided a very detailed report with photos. AGreenacre Roofing is an excellent roofinf company. I hired them to replace shingles and fix roof damage caused by storms. Their work started, however, before a single repair was made to the roof. They came out on very short notice, initially assessed the roof and placed tarps as appropriate to prevent additional damage. They provided an estimate, came back on site as needed to support insurance company claim and discussion with insurance representatives from beginning to end. Then they provided professional and timely services to replace the roof at a reasonable price! Several other neighbors have also used their services as a result of the high quality product they provided for my house. Thank you Greenacre Roofing!

DWe live in a townhouse and after seeing our porch bricks and adjoined main wall bricks pull away more and more over a 3 year span of living there we decided to take action. JES came highly recommended as a foundation company and we hoped they would do proper inspections to see if this was in fact a foundation issue or they would give us proper expertise in what the problem would be. The salesperson came out and from the second he walked up he used a scare tactic to make his goal clear that this was a foundation repair which worked well into getting us to buy it. He kept reiterating that this is such a huge problem and that we called just in time and all the right terms. No tests or measurements (investigation into actual issues) or "engineering takeoffs" taken to determine that it was actually a foundation issue. We took his word as the professional and went with their reputation in doing the right thing. Months later they came out for 3 days and installed the piers and were never heard of again. Not a single follow up during, or after the work and not even to let us know the work was done. the permit was left on the door and I was left wondering for a long time if someone would call, inspection. I had asked for pictures of the work and those were obviously not provided either. The day after the work was done our basement flooded with water and piles of dirt. Our main drain line was along that wall and their work had infiltrated the drain and caused a back up. I called twice to inform of this and possibly get a follow up on the work at same time and both times I was told that the production manager would call me back which never happened to this date. Months later now that we are having the brick wall re-built by another exterior company as what we thought would be the cosmetic portion of work, we find out that the JES foundation repair was not necessary at all. Our porch was built improperly and without proper support directly under the surface so it was hollow and the 4" blocks that were used to hold up the bricks were simply pushing out. without a separation to the main house, this caused the bricks from the main house to also pull away as well. Part of the selling of the job was for them to attempt to pull the wall back with these long screws which they basically put into a hollow wall for no reason and should have been noted but as with everything else they did it was just for show. So basically in the end we paid a lot of money for a big foundation project that is now deemed unnecessary and misdiagnosed and were simply scared into it, our basement was flooded as a result of it and now we still have to fix the issue that was at hand. All this and not a single follow up phone call to date. No response to the issues noted. This may be the single worst experience I have had a with company that prides itself on providing a very specific line of work especially at the price tag and importance that it poses.
