    COMFORT SOURCE LLC
We had a fabulous experience with the guys from Comfort source. Another leading Charlottesville HVAC install company had also quoted us on a install for our new house, I'm so pleased we didn't go with them as they had quoted on a system that was 1.5 tons oversize!! Comfort Source are extremely professional in their approach, their work is meticulous and they respond immediately to calls. You cannot go wrong using these guys, that's why they are regarded as the leading HVAC company in Cville.

I have been using them for 30+ years and they do a good job. I also like that they come right away and stand by their work. Overall, I am very happy with them. They do both industrial and commercial plumbing work.

    R E BOGGS, INC
System required several service calls subsequent to completion. Finally switched to another service provider, who seems to have tamed the beast. Nice folks at Boggs, but in the end it took someone else to solve the issues. Also, never have liked the thermostat. The first one failed, and when Boggs replaced it, they installed the same cheap-feeling digital model with a rocker control that tends to stick. Have to tap it firmly, and often several times, to change desired temp.

Boggs is professional and responsive, but I have had to have repairs done on the system every year since it was installed--often, more than once in a calendar year. They replaced the first thermostat, I think within months of completion. OK, that can happen, but I've never liked the thermostat they installed (both times). It has a cheap feel to it and the rocker-type switch often sticks. Of greater concern, however, is that I've had repeated problems with the condensate pump system clogging up and leaking water onto the basement floor, and repeated problems with coolant leaks at the outside unit. Every year, when the outside temperature heats up, the a/c system has at least one failure. One is left to think that the quality of the equipment is not what it ought to be. One thing that got under my skin was that, on at least one occasion, they made it a point to write on the service ticket "not a repair." I'm sorry, but when the system fails to perform properly and a service tech has to come out to get it working again--yes, that's a repair. I finally gave up on Boggs and started using someone else for service calls. A new system shouldn't require service calls to begin with. My parents and my brothers all have gone for years and years without requiring service or repair. I previously lived in a new home for 8 1/2 years without ever having a system failure. Since this system was installed in 2004, I haven't had a single year WITHOUT needing a service tech.

Excellent. Adam was pleasant, explained the work being done, and completed it in a timely manner.

Andrew evidently is very knowledgeable because the issue was fixed quickly! The water line in our geo-thermal was filled with debris which shut the system down.
