    Went into the outlet part of store in back. There was a rude blond woman with glasses that kept asking us as we were leaving if we had come in their from the main part of store. I told her, No. ��� We had come in directly from our car.��� For some reason she kept insisting we had come in from the main part of store ( I guess maybe something to do with sales) As my husband and I got in car I expressed my frustration to him and she had come outside and obviously thought I was talking about her or to her. What I said to my husband was NONE of her business. She then went as far as to try to get really ugly and pick an argument with me. I ignored her at that point but as she crossed the parking lot to enter the main part of their store she yelled out something nasty to me as we were getting ready to pull out. I don���t know if this woman is an owner, family member, or hired help but she needs to be dismissed immediately. Her behavior was abusive and less than professional. I will NEVER shop their again and will make sure to tell all the several hundred realtors I���ve worked with over the years to do the same! Avoid this place at all costs!

    Worst customer service ever! I purchased a table and 4 chairs. I bought the extended service plan and warranty. When you call the store, you are directed to one customer service representative and cannot speak to anyone else. It was a challenge setting up delivery. When my furniture was delivered, it was of poor quality and all the chairs were not level and the table had scratches and dents. I measured the chair legs and they were not even the same length. The driver was agitated because I asked him to wait until I called the store to get instructions and report the damages. I was told that they would send a service person to level the chairs and fix the table. These items were not repairable and the quality was not the same quality as in the store. The delivery person was rude and ran outside complaining that he had other things to do and he knew the table was damaged when he picked it up from the warehouse. He also stated that the quality of furniture from Trivett's is poor and that he would not recommend buying anything from them/ I asked Trivett's for my money back and they stated that I would need to wait until they spoke to a manager to get approval; however, they were probably only going to give me a store credit. REALLY ! I do not want a store credit. I do not want poor quality furniture and I do not want to deal with bad customer service. Every time I call this store I am told that there is no manager to deal with issues and I will need to wait for a phone call back. Buyer beware and do NOT buy anything from this store. Poor quality product and poor customer service!

    Jimmy Powell yelled at me for expecting Powell's furniture to do anything when they messed up my order. On November 11th 2013, I ordered two chairs and two ottomans for $2586.00. On January 16th 2014, I received something quite different.
    I was then TOLD my chairs were re-ordered and it would be another 6-8 weeks. I waited for an hour at the loading dock trying to get the Mickeymouse manager Alex to talk to me (but he was too busy). I had to drive to the store on Saturday to get anyone to speak to me. The Store Manager Dave Richardson was there to offer an apology and a $100.00 gift card to a restaurant.
    I informed him that was nowhere near appropriate for the inconvenience, and I would rather have my money back if thats the best he could do. I informed him that I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and lose me as a customer if Mr. Powell couldn't do better than that.
    "What is your problem?", "It's my day off, What is it you're expecting of me?". After again asking for my money back if all he was going to offer was a $100.00 gift card. He starts SCREAMING at me that I was the most ridiculous person he had ever dealt with in his 31 years in the furniture business, then he hung up on me.
    I'll post again to let you know the end result, currently I have no furniture, and they have my money. You get better service from used car dealers.

    We ordered furniture from this business. The furniture arrived two weeks late. Three weeks after it arrived, two of the pieces had broken zippers. Upon contacting the store, we have basically been given the run around for the last three months. First, we were told that the zippers were not under warranty so they could not help us. Then, they told us that they would sew the zippers shut for us if we drove the pieces approximately 75 miles and pay $200 per unit. When we told them we felt that was unacceptable, they said they would order two new pieces for us to replace the broken units. After being told that the new units were in, we then received a phone call stating that we couldn't have them. Now, they have gone back to telling us that there is nothing that can be done. When you pay almost $2000 for new furniture, you expect it to last longer than three weeks. It has been very frustrating dealing with this company, and we will not purchase any furniture from them in the future.

    I bought a cherry curio cabinet from a catalog in the store. The price was great and the service was great. Everyone I met was friendly and helpful. When I went to the warehouse to pick-up the cabinet, the men helped me view and check the cabinet in case it was damaged in shipment. They also loaded it onto my truck. They also were so nice. I would recommend this store for any type of furniture.

    We walked in and we knew exactly what we wanted and came across GM Jack and was more than willing to help us through the process. He was very competitive with his services and prices and even went to the point of pricing matching other competitors for our business. We put down 25% of the purchase price and he was able to special order our couches with delivery. Great experience and would recommend Powell's.

    salesman did a pretty good job of not hovering too much. financing options were good, but the paperwork process could use some streamlining. delivery was prompt and all materials were in good condition
