Horribly. As mentioned, I was in tears by the end, in large part to dr. Aguilera's man-handling, part because he point blank said I was just too complex a case, and recommended I go to a university. .. The real problem was when I finally got a copy of my notes (which my disability company had requested multiple times) the information it contains is in direct contradiction with what I told him. He ...

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Long term severe neuropathic pain due to SLE and RA. I arrived 15 minutes early, was seen an hour later. Dr. Aguilera, when he finally arrived to the room, apologized for being so late, yet barely made eye contact. He was very rough during my exam, when I told him multiple times the amount of pain Im in. His manner and roughness had me in tears. This was a new patient exam which I was told would be quite lengthy.

I have a history of high blood pressure and was certain I was having a stroke, but once I got to the office and talked to Dr. Aguilera, he and his staff were quick to assure me that was most likely the case.  He ordered MRIs, EEGs and other appropriate blood and neurological tests.  He was always sure to explain what he was doing and why he was doing it.  I have a medical background, and with the ...

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
I have been a patient of Dr. Aguilera's for one 7 years.  I was originally referred to him because I had numbness in my face, hand and leg.  After thorough testing, it was determined the cause was due to migraine equivalents.  We did have to rule out MS, which was stressful, but Dr. Aguilera always gave me confidence in his care.  He spoke to both myself and my husband.  That was 7 years ago.  6 months ago my sister was diagnosed with MS.  I felt like I needed to be checked out again, and was just as pleased with the second experience as I was with the first.  He is top notch.

Dr. Aguilera specializes in the condition I have, and there are not too many neurologists that do.  He is able to identify my specific issues.  He is fairly easy to get into see.  I will continue to see Dr. Aguilera in the future.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Dr. Aguilera is my neurologist, and I saw him 3 years ago.
