APlumb Care Plumbing IncMy kitchen sink clogged up completely on a Saturday, I called Plumb Care that afternoon and asked the answering service to put me on Monday's schedule. They showed up about 10:00 AM Monday morning. The first guy that showed didn't have a long enough "snake" so he left and came back with a bigger machine and another helper. After a few minutes of use, their powered snake froze up and quit working. So, they left and went to the local Tru-Valu hardware to rent another one. They ran the snake all the way through the pipes down to the septic cleanout, but didn't clear the clog. The plumber told me it was probably what he called a "sludge plug" and that the snake just goes right through it and the sludge fills in the hole behind the snake. So, they had to run the snake in and out several times before the plug finally broke loose. After 4-5 tries, they finally got the plug loose and got the drain flowing freely again. The two guys that came were very professional, and went out of their way to rent another power snake when theirs froze up. Altogether, they were here about 4 hours. To top it all off, they gave me a 10% "senior" discount on the labor.- Stan K.

AA Step Above Plumbing SolutionsI called him and he was here within 30 minutes to give us an estimate. He offered to fix it and we'd pay a service fee, or we could buy the parts and pay him back. he showed us what to do so we didn't need to call him back. He was very honest, friendly, outgoing and talkative. He explained everything going on and what was wrong. I would highly recommend him. AWilson's Septic Tank Service IncReceived call from my wife at 2:55pm that shower drain and bathtub had water backing up into them. Called Wilson's at 3pm (after finding them here on Angie's List!) They were at the house and finished by 4:30pm. (NOW THAT'S SERVICE!) They rodded the line as well, in case there were obstructions. They wrote me an invoice, and I called immediately and paid over the phone. The lady I spoke with on the phone both times was very pleasant sounding and professional. The workers on site were very professional and were courteous as well - which is much appreciated.- Mark S.

Guy came out the same day, met with us and explained some options we had for repairing our septic system. Scheduled a pumping, which they did a couple days later. Great service, his price was competitive or slightly lower than a couple others we called. Hope I dont need them again, but if I do I will call Wilson's.- Bill S.

AI called Star City for the first time 2/3/2021 and requested same day service for a leaking pipe. One of their plumbers, James Mills, called me mid-morning to let me know what time he planned to arrive and to ask some questions about the job before he got here. He called again to let me know he was on his way and actually arrived earlier than planned. Although the ground was still covered with snow and everything was soaking wet from the leak, he crawled under my home to take a look at what needed to be done. Once he found the leak, he cut the wet insulation from around the pipes so everything could start to dry out while he went to get some parts. He not only fixed the problem quickly and efficiently, he explained to me step by step the process he was taking and took extra precautions to wrap the pipe and replace the insulation and lining. He was knowledgeable, efficient and had an exceptional attitude about his work. One of the best experiences with a contractor I've had in a very long time. HIGHLY recommend this company.

FDelta Van Lines was a terrible experience. They are brokers and don't let them tell you differently. My sales person, Natalie, was quite nice until I started having problems. Then she would not return my calls. She promised me that they used their own trucks and drivers ( except upon rare occasion ) . Not true. My pick up was "Big Boy Moving." Four guys in which one was on the phone the entire time, one was skyping in the bedroom with the doors closed and the other two were working. The head guy immediately told me there would be an extra $300 for a long haul and $150 for a bulk shipment. I had told Natalie the elevator was right there next to the loading dock at my apartment. She said no problem, no long haul charge. The bulk charge, I never did understand and they really couldn't explain it . When I called Natalie while this guy was trying to collect this money, she said and I quote "Well I will never use them again.". She said she would call me back and that's the last I heard from her. I was stuck. I ended up calling Big Boy Movers and they had no answers either. Before the movers were done, they came right out and asked me for a tip. Of course I gave it to them, they had my stuff. But they literally asked me. This was the most unprofessional experience I have had moving. I have written an email to the manager Joshban Molina who has never responded. Natalie stopped communicating the minute she had my money. The only good thing that happened was that they were on time. I do not recommend this company at all. Besides the rudeness of the actual movers, there was no support from the company I had hired, Delta Van Lines. They could have cared less.

FCame in, barely looked around house or attic. Refused to crawl into attic to look for nesting. Stood at ceiling entrance and tossed in poison. No strategy to deal with them and no inspection of the area at all. Way overprice for service provided. Would not recommend them at all.

DIt went well. Easy job with the right tool. Charged me $235, which was excessive. Got the locksmiths in for 30 minutes to rekey the locks and he charged me $78 for the service. Cannot justify a factor of three difference. I will not use them anymore.
