Ken came out the house and helped us think outside the "bathroom" box. They installed a shower in a closet adjacent to the bathroom and did it in 5 days. They worked with our schedule and completed the work on time. We are still very pleased as the shower is working properly with no issues.... Thank you to Ken and his team!!!!

They came out for an estimate because we had standing water in the basement. The estimate went great, we got a discount for putting down a deposit and scheduling so be ready or have the money available to put a deposit down plan a day. This just happened to be our last estimate before we were going to pick a company. I am thankful that we did the estimate last it was quick and guaranteed so if they have to do more you still pay the estimate price.(Thirty percent deposit and the remainder at the conclusion of the project.) They came early on the morning scheduled and worked diligently, our basement was a two day project, and length of project is also given with the initial estimate. The power went out around 1:00pm the first day for the entire neighborhood so they worked by flashlight and cell phones until after 5:00pm. We thought they were crazy but they are good at what they do because the supervisor came to make sure the work was being completed properly and also gave us a tour of the completed work and explained what everything was supposed to look like prior to touring the completed work. As each worker completed their designated portion the supervisor would take us on a tour of the completed work prior to the next worker completing the next task. So that if any mistakes or problems occurred it could easily be corrected. We were asked were we wanted the drainage pipes and drain and we also got an air purifier it took the moisture and odors out as it was designed to do the air is crisp and clean in the basement. At the completion of the project we had another tour and the system is guaranteed for a long time. They also reviewed what would affect the warranty of the equipment so that it could be avoided and if any problems please notify. The only problem that I had was with the air purifier's cord was not long enough to move away from the drain so it is too close to the drain. I am going to give the a call and keep the review updated on the response time.

They took measurements of the space to include humidity readings.  Unlike another company that stood outside of the crawl space and guessed at the measurements which turned out to be way off.  The day of installation, they came in, did exactly what they said they would and finished quicker then the estimated time.  I would highly recommend this company.

    Remodel USA
I requested an estimate for replacing all of our windows.  Prior to sending a representative to my home, the company obtained my credit history.  This was without my permission, and unbeknownst to me.  I did not request a loan or credit from them.  This is unethical, and possibly illegal.  I only learned about this when I requested my Equifax credit history, which I do on an annual basis.  The credit history request went against my FICO score.  When asked about this, their representative said that the company wanted to be sure I could afford the windows before sending a representative.
I did not receive a formal quotation during the representative's visit.  The cost seemed high.  The company called later and offered to send resend the representative with a lower quote.  This was done.  When I didn't accept it, they called a second time to send him again with an even lower quotation. This was done  I told the man that their quote was much higher than their competitors.  Later, I received a call offering to send their representative out for a fourth time with an even lower bid.  This I refused.  At no time did I receive a formal written quotation.  Furthermore, when I asked for a business card, I was given one that did not show the company's  name, and the representative had to write on it his name and phone numbers.
Unlike Remodeling USA Inc, two of their competitors did not request my credit history prior to sending a representative, gave me a wrtten quotation, and their quotations were about half that of Remodeling USA's third and lost quotation.  Furthermore, the representatives of both of these companies gave me business cards that had the companys name on it, and the representative's name and contact information.
In my opinion, Remodeling USA Inc acted in a unprofessional and unethical manner, and should be avoided.

    Alex Ertel Construction Inc
    The bathroom came out beautifully.

From the beginning Alex was very careful as he planned and then rough framed around existing utilities.   He had to create several bulkheads, a forty-five degree corner, and several doors all in a tight space.    The construction was sturdy, plumb, and true.   He communicated with the subs, considered their work and challenges, and developed solutions

As an architect, I often see work that is begun without forethought and  finished poorly .   In contrast,  Alex was   very careful even as he planned for the floor, considering where cut pieces would be and where joints would intersect walls.   He talked with us ahead of time to communicate his intentions and get  our approval rather than just starting into the work with no explanation.    The floor is what gives the room distinction and he did a masterful job.   There are no awkward or poorly cut tile.   The joints are clean and consistent.  He's a pro at this and it shows.

We had no disruptions with utilities, no unexpected challenges, and no regrets.   We are as pleased as we can be with the final outcome.     Each person involved with the work was pleasant, polite, helpful, and showed up when they said they would or called in when occasionally delayed.      Alex worked within our budget, worked with us when we wanted to do some of the work ourselves, and continually gave valuable advice.    We don't hesitate to recommend him and would call him again without any reservation.
