    S&S Waterproofing And Foundation Repair
Steve arrived at the agreed upon time and applied the epoxy patch and then left for a bit and returned to apply the second phase. The chemicals applied had no odor and have been highly effective in keeping out further seepage of rain water.

    NV Waterproofing & Foundation Repair
The guy was nice. He had been doing assessments for years. I told him about the mold issues that needed were remediated. Explained now we need to assess the why it happened. He looked over inside and out. Took 10 minutes. He said, he could not smell any mold and that everything was good. Nothing needed to be done. Two day later I found two leaky windows with mold in the wall under them. An entire wall full of mold in kitchen, and the brick at the corner of home was missing a 4ft high by 2ft wide corner. Exposing the entire foundation and heating board. Water had been rolling into the walls of the basement. The front of the home was on a negative grade as well. Not pleased at all!

    S&S Waterproofing And Foundation Repair
S&S waterproofing was called in during demolition when the problems were uncovered. They made the time and worked on a Saturday to rebuild the all of the masonry enclosure along with putting in a waterproofing barrier to ensure no future water damage. This work prepared my hose for the front door replacement and a replacement patio approach to the home. They were quick, professional, and the end result was perfect for my home. You could tell the Mason who worked on my home had the "touch" to rebuild brick and make it look "natural". You couldn't tell work had been accomplished!!!

AMC911 Foundation & Waterproofing Repair Systems
Found an advertisement in the newspaper for AMC911 and
decided to have someone come out to give me a quote on installing a vapor
barrier and new insulation in the crawl-space of the home I?m currently
renovating.  Home was built in 1988 and
the crawl space never had a vapor barrio and the insulation that was in place
was falling apart.  On the scheduled date
and at the scheduled time Mr. Eric Zidenberg arrived and inspected the
crawl-space with me present.  I explained
what I wanted done and Eric listened to me and prepared a detailed estimate and
quote.  I appreciated the fact that Eric
did not try to pressure me into anything and told me to give him a call if I
    had any additional questions.
I should note that previously I had two other companies
inspect the crawl-space and give me estimates.
In both cases the estimates were extremely high and there was a lot of
high pressure trying to get me to have more done than was actually needed and
of course they wanted me to sign the contract immediately.
Later in the evening, after discussing it with my wife, I
emailed Eric and suggested a few changes in the statement of work in the
estimate.  I finally sent the email right
before midnight expecting to get a reply from Eric the following morning.  To my surprise I received a response in less
than an hour and we agreed with my proposed changes.  Three days later Eric and a crew arrived on
    site to begin work.
Mark was in charge and assisting him were Marcos and Moises.  It was apparent that Mark was an expert and
knew what he was doing.  Mark not only
supervised the work but he was in the crawl-space with Marcos and Moises doing
    the work.
My expectations were exceeded and I am thoroughly satisfied
with the results.  AMC911 is a great
company and they know what they are doing.
I would highly recommend AMC911 do any crawl-space work.
    Sincerely, Rich Mehochko

    S&S Landscape And Water Solutions
Justin was extremely knowledgable about his work and as he looked over our yard, it was very clear to us that his recommendations were right to fix our wet basement and yard drainage issues.  His estimate was reasonable and detailed; we felt comfortable with the cost since we knew where the money was going to be spent toward our project.
We scheduled a time to have the work done, but based on weather, Justin suggested we move the date up to allow a safety buffer around the work.  It?s good that he did; when built, our house was never sealed properly against water and was missing the drain tile and window well drains that should have been in place.  As Justin and his crew discovered this, the scope of the project expanded slightly from what was originally estimated.  This was completely understandable since this could not have been known before the house was uncovered.  Justin and his workers discussed and evaluated a few possible courses of action and we agreed upon an updated estimate for the expanded scope of the project.
As the work progressed, the problems resulting from the improper preparation of our foundation became increasingly evident.  They worked hard to overcome each obstacle that the house presented and to ensure that the final work was done right this time.  They brought in extra equipment as needed.  Time for the project expanded due to excessive moisture in our walls and extended drying time needed.  The 2-3 day project took 5 days and overlapped a weekend.  Justin and 2-3 others worked hard every day and sacrificed their personal and family time to ensure that our house was properly sealed before the rain came on Monday.  He did not change the cost of the project as the time required ballooned - he stuck with the estimate we agreed upon.  He completed the project as agreed and even went beyond the scope in re-grading our yard and removing brush that we wanted gone.

The day after the project was completed, it rained and I went down into our basement.  It felt dry.  The air felt dry.  There was no water in the window wells or pooling against the house outside.  It is definitely clear that the work was done correctly and successfully.  These guys really went out of their way to make sure that we were fully satisfied and happy, and that the work was done correctly, completed in a timely manner, and at the agreed cost.
I am so glad that we had this work done by a great company.

    Seal-Tite Basement Waterproofing Co
When one of our foundation walls cracked we contacted a structural engineer and several contractors to give estimates on the repair job. The representative from Seal-Tite was very professional and at no time did we feel as if he was trying to sell us more than what was necessary to correctly do the job. We felt that other companies were trying to sell us their "proprietary" designs that would result in the same benefit but cost more... The crew that came out to do the work showed up on time, kept the site well organized and clean, and was very professional in their behavior. We have had no problems with the work or the space since the repair was made.

    Basement Detective
Very smooth with this contractor.  They came out immediately to diagnose my moisture problem, including inspection the inside and outside of my home.  Mark determined my problem was that moisture was building up between my garage wall and basement wall, causing it to make its way into my home.  He explained how this works and why I was seeing moisture exactly where it was appearing.  They had to dig a trench in my concrete slab in the basement all around the portion of the basement that was below grade.  They installed all the stuff that goes with the trench- screen, rocks, etc..  They also dug out the well for the sump pump, installed the pump and PVC pipe to send the offending water outside.  They then patched the trench over with cement, installed the well cover, and it looks flawless- really beautiful work!  Mark checked in with me after to make sure I was happy.
And then.... when I thought I saw moisture in the basement about 3 weeks later, I called them in a bit of a panic.  Anthony grabbed a plumber and they were at my house within two hours!  It turned out my house water filtration system's flush hose was no longer (for whatever reason), attached to the drain and so water was getting on my floor.  So it had nothing to do with the pump or diagnosis.  But the point is they came immediately when I called and were super, super nice when we all realized it had nothing to do with their work. :)  And the plumber noticed I have a hot water heater (newly installed) that is not up to code- yikes!  But that was a bonus to find out about that.
In short, good people, good work, and I would use them again for sure.

    Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing of VA
Inspector arrived roughly on time, was very courteous  and friendly.  Inspected affected area of basement with hygrometer, noted higher humidity (20%+) in cement block walls.  Noted cracks in mortar joints.  Advised on some other issues he noted in basement.  Retired from basement to living room.  Inspector gave informative presentation regarding causes of water penetration, and several alternatives for treatment, explaining (dis)advantages as pertinent.  So far, so good.
Gave estimates for work.  Exterior system for approximately 40 linear feet at $12K; interior water management system at $6K.  Some pressure to sign contract then and there, offering a stand-by slot for ~10% discount, intimating low availability of such slots and that we would do well to sign right away if one available.  This is a standard tactic, we were not swayed.  We were uncomfortable with signing right away, wanted to get more estimates.
An even better-rated company from Angie's List estimated the interior water management system at $2600.  Price differential between two companies staggering - slightly larger scope of work for second company, same procedure, same guarantee of work and warranty.
Have been receiving calls from an unfamiliar number, about twice a day, sometimes at nearly 9 pm, for nearly two months now.  Looked up number - Mid-Atlantic.  No voice mails left, only repeated calls.  Unacceptable - checked call logs to ensure not exaggerating.
In summation: Courteous and professional inspector, excessively high cost, borderline harassment "follow-up" calls.

    B-Dry Waterproofing and Foundation Repair
They were very professional and did a very good job. The only issue I had was that afterwards I had a leak in my foundation and the location that it was leaking at, wasn’t covered by the warranty, and I had to fix the leak myself. I felt that they should’ve noticed this while doing the job. I would recommend them. They cleaned up after themselves and they did do a good job.

    Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing of VA
We purchased our home during the boom 7 years ago and knew that we had a problem. In the seller market days you had to take what you could get in some cases. We didn't like our home inspector hindsight is 20-20 but I feel that If we had Mid-Atlantic look at our basement before purchasing I don't think we would have bought this house. When the representative from the company came out to give us an estimate he spent well over an hour looking around the basement and around the outside of the house for drainage issues. The rep had been working with the company for several years and had a lot of good information and was very descriptive and informative. We were given different options to fix the problem but the only one that made money sense was their interior system that drains the water and pumps it away from the home. When we decided to move forward with the project we were scheduled. From the date we scheduled the work until completion was less than 10 days. The job itself only took 3 days it was a little intrusive being on the inside of the house, but the team was very courteous and clean. The deciding factor of choosing to go forward with the project was a lifetime transferrable warranty. I was reluctant to give any kudos a job well done until I was able to see the system work. It had been rather dry over the last couple months, but we had a heavy rain two weeks ago and our basement is 100% dry!! I have already referred 2 people from work with similar issues and would refer them again.
