Here is how my dream of finally purchasing my 1st home turned into a NIGHTMARE experience because of Len the Plumber. I called them for a simple fix of a leaking pipe before we moved into our home. 4 days after we moved in I came home to find my home FLOODED due to a pipe they did not secure properly. The plumber told us it was their fault and they will pay to fix our home. After many days of sleeping in my office we finally called Len The Plumber back who told me I needed to file with my insurance company. We were HOMELESS FOR 3 DAYS and currently 20 days after the flood still have nothing accomplished!! We are currently paying for the damage that they did which is estimated at over $100,000. Yes that is correct, $100,00. We have asked for a refund and as of today, 20 days after our home was flooded they will not pay for the damages they caused nor will they even refund us for the service that they did not correctly provide. My best advice STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! They suck!! And on top of that their manage, Rich Grimes, is the most worthless manager I have ever had to deal with. Slimey, slimey company who will screw over every customer they can. STAY AWAY!!!

BLUF: We hired John Nugent and Sons (JNS) for a major HVAC project in our house and we are very, very happy with the project in terms of execution, cost, and final outcome. Who: John Nugent and Sons in Northern Virginia. What: We met with four different HVAC companies and obtained ideas and estimates for how to replace an old HVAC system that barely worked and was installed in a location clearly not within county code. Of the four proposals, only two were worth examining further. Luckily, my out-of-town cousin used to work in HVAC and I asked him for his opinion. He reviewed them and said it was clear that JNS provided the best proposal - the most detailed, the most attention to the particulars of the house, and a great price for the amount of work involved. And there was a lot of work to do - they removed the old HVAC system, which was in the basement and behind walls; they removed all the ductwork in the crawlspace; they installed a new HVAC in the attic; they installed new ducts in the attic that connected to new ceiling vents in each room; and they installed all the necessary electrical and gas lines to the new HVAC, including concealing the lines nicely and cleanly along the outside of the house. They also installed a new water heater and a mini-ductless system in our basement. When: JNS completed the project in two weeks. Where: Our house, of course! Pros: Their overall project/sales manager consistently communicated with me about the project status and timeline. The workers were all polite and professional and accommodated our (many) questions and the (few) changes we had. They also went above and beyond by identifying a "stray" gas line behind a basement wall and ensuring the line was sealed/capped properly and marked for future awareness. They fully cleaned up their work every day. There was no pressure to make payments until the project was complete, passed inspection, and I was completely satisfied with everything. Cons: I asked JNS if they would be present during the day of inspection by the county. They said they would not but if I encountered any problems, they would be contacted by the county and remedy them. On inspection day, there were a some questions that would have been better handled by JNS than me, so that was not as smooth as it could have been if JNS were there. However, it did not affect the inspection and the project passed with no problem.

We've used My Hunny Do many times over the years and have always had good experiences. The most recent time was when we had a gas leak under the deck, which required that a section of deck be ripped up so the leak could be repaired, then reinstalled. This occurred over a weekend, and we were without gas heat until the repair was done. John of My Hunny Do responded immediately and worked on the job Sunday, which we really appreciated! The work was very professional with some extra touches in the reinstallation, and cleanup was excellent. They have also done roofing, painting, water heater installation, and carpentry for us, and we've been pleased with the work! Would definitely give them a good recommendation!

Shaun was the most professional plumber we have had. He fully explained the work needed, the time it would take and once the work was completed, he explained what was done and how to operate the machine and how to handle an emergency should it occur. I would highly recommend Shaun and F.H. Furr.

Curtis is a pro. He used lastest equipment and technology. For my job Curtis used solderless copper jointing. He also advised me on how to care for the new water heater and prolong its lifespan. I highly reccomend Water Heater Services LLC.

The week before Thanksgiving, our ten year old tankless hot water system stopped working. I called, emailed and texted our service contractor and got no response. We were expecting family including several youngsters, so quickly I called the company and not only where there no other company-certified technicians in Virginia, it was really moot as the error code I read to them told them the part was no longer manufactured and they had none in inventory. "Would you like me to connect you to our Sales Dept?" they asked. I went to Angie's List and contacted several but only Tankless Concepts responded positively and decisively. A representative came to our home the day and, after determining the old unit was in fact no longer operational, he showed several products that could meet our need. We closed the deal on the spot. The installers came the following Wednesday morning, calling 20 minutes before scheduled arrival, and arrived on time. They installed the new Rinnai unit, were very neat and cleaned up. The installer then showed us how to operate the unit and answered our questions. We would recommend them for their responsiveness in appreciating our Thanksgiving guest situation, for their great work and fair price.

I was very impressed by F.H. Furr and the plumber, Christopher, who serviced my property. He was very professional and did a good job of explaining the repairs that needed to be done and why. He went the extra step and checked other pipes, toilets, and appliances in the house to ensure that all were working correctly and were not in need of repair. He also provided advice on maintenance of pipes and the new hot water heater. F.H. Furr's schedulers are very responsive and even sent a text message ahead of the appointment with the estimated arrival time of the plumber.

Our gas hot water heater broke in our 2nd floor condo on Saturday and I reached out to Neighborhood Specialists late Sunday night through Angie's List messenger. They responded within an hour or so and we sent multiple messages back and forth that night to make sure they could get me what I needed before I purchased any deal online. This already began to ease my anxiety of this situation. Another reviewer said they went above and beyond so I thought I'd try it. They were right on the money. They called Monday around 1pm to stop out and take a look at the situation and make sure they could start draining the tank. After just a few short hours after arrival, it was completely installed, upgraded and fully functional. The technician went above and beyond to make sure the installation happened as soon as possible. (He even went to pick up the tank off of a nearby truck. He also carried the tank up the stairs himself because his other technicians were on other jobs and he didn't want us to have to wait until the next day for installation.) He was kind, competent and considerate of my place, as well as my neighbor's place below us. He was knowledgeable about all of the equipment in our mechanical closet, including the HVAC questions I randomly asked. I do not feel like I was nickel and dimed by this company and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for hot water heaters or HVAC work. He even swapped out some smaller parts to make sure the whole unit would last as long as possible. I also got a small tutorial on how the new pilot light panel works and the appropriate temperature settings for our place. We have been using our hot water for 2 days now and it is working beautifully! I am definitely going to be using Neighborhood Specialists for any future HVAC needs. This is a family owned business that is great to their customers and good at what they do. What could be better!?

The quality of work was excellent, the folks were great to work with. This was a complicated job, and Tankless Concepts did absolutely everything they could to leave us 100% satisfied. Highly recommend, we would use them again in a heartbeat.

Will was great to work with, dealt with numerous unforeseen project complications without raising his costs or complaint. He was courteous, showed up reliably and was quick to offer suggestions on how to improve performance. All of the pipe sizing was correct (critical and not always done properly) and his work passed inspection without issue.
