Rachel Eisenfeld, or whatever new name she calls her business, is extremely unreliable and untrustworthy.  I was supposed to get my orthotic inserts in a week, then she kept on canceling appointments (often the day of the appointment).  She then calls out of the blue, says her dad is sick and she needs to get out of town.  She'll contact me when she is back in town.  She didn't respond to my emails and then she disappeared for 4 MONTHS.  I sent her a strong worded email that I would take necessary actions if she didn't respond to me in a day (I was going to call the DC police and file a complaint for fraud and theft).  She then processed my request for a refund a week later.  I just checked Yelp and apparently she did the same thing to someone 6 months before me, but the excuse back then was her machine was broken.  The disturbing thing was in her last email to me, she said that she was working on November 2014 orders to be delivered in April 2015 and since I had my feet molded in December 2014, I was going to have my order done soon.  So it seems she screwed over a lot of other people, or she's feeding me some B.S. excuse.

I saw Dr. Haas for my visit. She recommended new shoes and an orthotic for my foot. The orthotic was made in the office the day of my appointment and insurance paid for most of it (80%). The only reason I didn't give Dr. Haas an A is because she also recommended ankle surgery. That seemed very extreme for plantar fascitis and the orthotic + new shoes has fixed the problem.  Not sure if I would see her again since the whole surgery part, but I think she is a very good podiatrist and my foot has been fine.
