    Wolf, Dr. Kathy E.
I had two very unusual pregnancies - my first went fine until delivery at which point Dr. Wolf and her team literally saved my daughter's life after detecting an abnormal and rare fetal heart rate. I experienced complications throughout my second pregnancy, and Dr. Wolf was there every step of the way to ensure my pregnancy went well. Both of my children were delivered via c-section. In terms of care, I can't imagine a better provider. The only downside is that the office is often running late, and they're not particularly good at communicating that to patients. However, in my opinion, having Dr. Wolf as your OB is well worth the inconvenience of running late at appointments.

    Beckerman, Dr. Tobie E
She is very open, friendly and tries to get to know her patients.  The office environment is much more personal than a typical gynecology practice.  She is experienced and will discuss things in depth.  Her office staff are very warm and the atmosphere in the office is quite pleasant. I recommend this practice.

    Shady Grove Fertility Ctr
I highly recommend Shady Grove Fertility's Annandale location. The entire staff is kind, patient and empathetic, and the small office environment makes it feel more personal. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Levens and our RN, Danielle Kelly. They were always responsive to our many, many phone calls and e-mails, and showed deep care and empathy during the ups and down of the fertility process. In addition, their professionalism and expertise were deeply comforting and made us confident that we were in the right hands and would ultimately have success. They made an often difficult and emotional process much easier to bear, and we are forever grateful to them.

    Women's Health Specialists
Nadine is great! We have good rapport, and she has definitely gotten to know me over the years. I feel comfortable asking her questions at my appointments, discussing my care/test results/family planning and messaging her through the patient portal. She always takes time to address my concerns. I like that Nadine is straightforward with a twist. She has a good bedside manner, a sense of humor (a plus during the examination portion), a warm personality and truly cares. I find her to be very positive and real. Nadine is truly an asset to Women's Health Specialists. I'm so glad that I found her because I get consistent care, which I think is important when you want to manage your health in the best possible way.
I have always found it easy to schedule my annual exam (I do so well in advance so I can put it on my calendar) and have blood work done - they are flexible and have someone right in the office who draws blood. Nurses return calls when you have questions and leave messages on their line. Nadine does as well.
Typically I have to wait when I arrive on-time for my appointment. But, Nadine always spends adequate time with me during the appointment.

Northern Virginia Physicians To Women Ltd.
This doctor's visit will go down as the worst of my entire life. I was checking out the office as a prospective, pregnant patient, and had some concerns/questions about some of the office policies (ie. copy fees for medical paperwork, and late fees for missing an appointment.) I felt it was my responsibility to raise them, and did so at the front desk(which has no privacy from the greater waiting room.) I made it clear that I can get called into work on occasion last minute and might have to cancel an appointment last minute. How would they handle that? Would they charge me a $75 dollar fee for something out of my control? On copy fees, I had never heard of them in VA, and asked for a copy of the law they said they were enforcing so I could better understand it. I said it sounded ridiculous to me; having lived in the area for 7 years, and never had a physician raise it with me in the past. (They won't see you until you sign a document stating you understand and abide by their policies, which i ultimately signed, making notations about my concerns and their efforts to address them in the margins.) I ultimately got a copy of the law the next day via email, but by the time I went in to meet the doctor, he had apparently been made to feel so shaken up by the office manager, labeling me a prospective "problem" patient, that he could barely complete the exam. Again, I was simply asking basic questions about office policies, that I was concerned about up front. So, honesty and asking questions were not only not rewarded or understood, but punished. He was so wound up, he told me he might not be able to care for me...because I asked for a copy of the law. Now, with pregnancy hormones raging, I, the patient, the one who's been honest and forthright, is being made to feel a problem child. No thank you. Take your business somewhere else. No one, especially, a woman experiencing a happy time in her life, should be made to feel ostracized for asking questions. Imagine what the rest of your care would be like, if questions are off limits. Unbelievable. In addition, they don't promise to deliver your child if one of the 4 of them is not on call when you go into labor, so if you want to build an actual relationship with the person who delivers you, this is not the practice for you.

    Nevin, Dr. Kirstiaan L.
Dr. Nevin is one of my favorite doctors in the practice. She is knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. She is no longer working out of the Falls Church office though, and is only available in DC and Chevy Chase. She is hard to get an appointment with, so I'd recommend calling ahead of time to schedule one with her. I've visited with other doctors in the practice and none of them compare to Dr. Nevin. I suppose that it why she is one of the partners!

    Wolf, Dr Kathy E
Dr. Davis (an associate of Dr. Wolf) was pleasant and easy to communicate with. I was satisfied with the care I received from her. My complaint and reason for not returning to this office is because of concerns of the mixing of religion and medicine. I was surprised to see a bible verse at the check-in counter, after I had not seen any advertisement on their website of this being a Christian-based practice. Although I am in fact religious, I do not feel that it is appropriate for a medical office to incorporate religiousness into their practice, unless the practice is clearly advertised as being religiously-based or religiously-affiliated. This left me wondering if my birth control practices were looked down upon in any way, and if such beliefs may impact the medical advice I receive. To me, there is a place for everything, and my gyno's office is not the place for religiosity. I'm sure there are many people for whom this would be a turn-on, but for me, this is a turn-off.

    Wolf, Dr Kathy E
Very well. No problems. I had to have some last minute tests before the birth of my daughter and her staff scheduled it right away and she called that night with the results. Scheduling was easy and convenient. Both births were smooth and she was there the whole time.

    Kacedan, Dr. James P.
Dr. Kacedan was always extremely professional and friendly, laid back but providing lots of information. He has excellent bedside manner and was great with me and with my husband. Visits with him were always efficient and useful, and he always answered all of our questions. I ended up having severe preeclempsia and he was fantastic throughout the whole process - the emergency c-section went as well as could be expected under the circumstances, and he followed up at least once a day after the delivery to check up. He answered all my questions before my discharge from the hospital and has been a very good resource and help since then in the follow-up appointments.

    Kacedan, Dr. James P.
He's very professional and provides great information. It seems like he keeps very current with research and findings, and has a very scientific way of thinking about things, which is refreshing in a doctor. When I've had questions about my pregnancy, he's actually the one who answers my questions over the phone. He's a one-doc office, so I never feel like a number there - the staff get to know you and are very friendly.
