    G&J Moving and Storage
Very poor pre-move coordination. Calls, emails, & text would go unanswered. Packers showed up 2-1/2 hours after the scheduled time. No communication. Packers left important items unpacked (found out about this after the move, when I had to go to the old address to retrieve them). Fragile boxes were placed upside down at new location. Damage to the new property from improper handling of the furniture move-in. Many boxes ended up in the wrong room, poorly labeled, making it extremely hard to locate items. Small items surrounded by large stacks of boxes, making them invisible/inaccessible.

    Olympia Moving & Storage
Good moving experience and the crew was professional. Noticed a billing discrepancy after they left and it took multiple phone calls to only partially resolve the error, unfortunately. Customer service needs improvement. Will look elsewhere for the next move.

    Dulles Logistics and Moving
Exceptional quality of service. They packed one day, moved and unpacked the second day and then sent two member team the third day to finish unpacking. This was an outstanding support and much exceeded my expectations. I could not have asked for more. I would recommend to all and wish the company all the very best.

    Titan Moving & Storage LLC
Titan moved my massive accumulation of furniture and packed boxes from my two-flight-up garden apartment to my new single-family house. They arrived ahead of time, and executed the move smoothly and efficiently, also finishing ahead of time -- and saving me several hundred dollars off the initial estimate for the move. My only complaint (really a nitpick) is that a few items clearly labeled as destined for certain rooms were left in the wrong rooms. I only mention it because it has made unpacking a wee bit confusing at times. Otherwise, absolutely fantastic job!

    G&J Moving and Storage
Move was great! Packing not as good. We are repeat customers. I moved from my townhouse into a single-family home about 2 years ago. i did all the packing myself and took the boxes over in a U-haul. I hired G&J Movers to move the furniture. They did a *fabulous* job. No damage to either house. So, when I moved again two weeks ago (into a larger house), I hired them again -- this time to pack and move. Again, they were excellent movers -- not damage to either house or to any of the furniture. They are not, however, very good packers. We are a military family and have moved 11 times in the past 25 years, so we have a lot of experience with packers & movers. The first thing that bothered me was that the packers are the same people as the movers. Professional packers have a different skillset than professional movers. I have two criticisms: 1) efficiency/excess packing material, and 2) disorganization/labeling. 1) - Efficiency: Professional packers can get my entire china and crystal into 3 dish packs -- it took this crew 6. They wrap everything in an excess of paper and put LOTS of wadded up paper on the bottom and between each layer. The good news is, nothing broke -- and this is the most important. The bad news is that it took them about 33% longer than it should have and they used about 33% more materials than they should have. This means the cost of my pack was about 33% more than it should have, as well. 2) Organization - When I unloaded the kitchen boxes, the coffee pot (which was altogether the morning of the pack) was disassembled and located in three different boxes. My knife block was in a book box labeled "canned" goods. Items that were in one drawer wound up in several boxes. Items that were in one cabinet wound up in several boxes. And everything from the kitchen was labeled "Kitchen - very fragile." It made it hard to find the *essential* items in order to get the kitchen to function quickly. In the office, we left the necessary cables with the monitors, but the wound up in different boxes. So - everything made it to the new house, and it all got there safely, but I feel like I overpaid for the pack because the packers weren't trained properly, and it was hard to unpack because things were disorganized and boxes were not labeled in a way that was useful. So - bottom line: I HIGHLY recommend G&J for moving services, but I would consider hiring "real" trained packers for the pack portion of your move.

    Express Moving & Storage LLC
We used Express Moving twice for full-house pack and moves. Both times, there were twists to the job: for the first one, the crew had to move about half the stuff to a house and half to a truck to be taken to a storage unit, and for the second, the crew had to both pack and move in one day since we had booked them very late in our process. They were terrific. Their teams were friendly, courteous, and efficient. They were thorough and careful in both their packing and moving, and had no problems with any of our requests during the process. They put in really long hours without a complaint and without a problem on our end. The supervisor with whom I worked, Robin, was accommodating, pleasant, and extremely quick to respond to our inquiries. Prices were reasonable (we got multiple bids for the first move). Highly, highly recommend.

    Express Moving & Storage LLC
Robin and the crew at Express Moving and Storage we fantastic. We just moved to a new house less than a mile from our old condo. Robin worked with our schedule to come and assess the condo and tell us how long the move would take, and how much is would cost; he was spot on. Other movers just gave me a rate and a quote, we chose Express Moving and Storage because Robin, one of the owners, came by the house and explained his rates and even offered us areas where we could lower the cost (basically stuff we could do, rather than pay his moving crew to do it for us). The move went great! Thank you Express Moving and Storage.

    American Relocation
HORRIBLE AND SHOTTY!! I spoke with Crystal at least 5 times going over schedule move times. Not once did she question and or ask for a detailed inventory. She scheduled my full pack and move for a total of 3 hours and 3 men and $145/hr. When the movers arrived they didn't have the right packing materials, told me there would be extra time added on due to the distance from the freight elevator to my unit, and that if they did do the full pack it would be at least an 8 hour but more likely a 10 hour full pack. That's at $145 per hrs after the first 3 hours are passed. Then there would be a charge for the time driving to my new condo. If they had provided the service quoted to me we would not had to sit in DC traffic. The contact person, Crystal, was useless. She blamed it all on my initial email. We spoke many times after her initial receipt and no clarification or details were requested. The truck was too small. They had to take stuff off the truck and ask me to move it! SMH..they had no packing supplies, few boxes, they used most of the ones I had kept from a previous move. The boxes aren't marked as to its content, there is so sticker tape number placed on each item for inventory/invoice purposes. SAVE YOUR MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! A quote of $615 turned into over $1300 and I still had to pack, load and move the contents of my kitchen, dining room and curio cabinet. Also I had to take the next day off from work because it took me, a single 54 yrs old woman from 6pm to 653am to pack and load what they didn't do. I'm an open heart surgical nurse and taking a day off for such nonsense just doesn't seem proper. Work ethics and pride in one's job just doesn't seem to exist anymore. Such a shame. The pics are of how I found my 3 glass curio cabinet shelves...bubble wrapped and placed diagonally in a small box with one of my throw rugs and pillows for support. That's my box from a past move.

    College Hunks Hauling Junk
I hired CHH when I was moving apartments, Jimmy and Marcus did a terrific job and were very professional! They called 20 mins before they were going to be there, arrived right on time and introduced themselves right away. They clearly had been trained in processes and procedures to get the job done most effectively and efficiently. When we got up to the apartment they asked for a tour of the place, what needed to be moved and where it was being moved to. Before they started we walked through all the paperwork and confirmed expectations for the job. Jimmy and Marcus worked very well together. They communicated on order of moving stuff and who was going to do what. I had a big bed frame that needed to be moved and turns out taken apart. They jumped right in to get it taken care of without me having to give them any direction. The couch ended up not fitting where I thought it would and when I came back in the room they had already been problem solving on solutions of where to put it and had thought through the effects of sunlight, TVs not being up windows, etc, in making their recommendation. I'd highly recommend hiring them for your next move.

    Potomac Moving Company
Went great. 2 guys and a huge truck moved items from one townhouse to another. 15 minutes to load, 10 minutes to unload. Perhaps 45 minutes at most. The huge truck arrived early and I was ready. Great job'
