    Jonathan Klein MD
I had a very unpleasant experience with Doctor Klein. Right out of the gate he was rude, and condescending. It appears that he is only willing to work with patients who are totally un-researched, and oblivious to what ails them. We couldn't see eye to eye regarding a particular medication that he was devoid knowledge regarding, but that was no excuse to speak to me the way he did; condescending, highly interruptive when I spoke, and made jeering remarks. I was unable to successfully speak with him, nor answer the questions he asked because he spoke over me consistently. He was insulting in suggesting (multiple times) that my requesting refills on a particular medication already authorized to me by the doctor of whose patients he was taking on as "the funniest thing he had heard" and that he had "Needed some humor in his day." merely because he didn't understand how it worked nor its dosing. He snickered and sneered when I spoke. I can't know if he was having a bad day, but this no excuse for his lack bedside manner. I left reeling, bewildered, astonished by how I was treated. I will kindly do us both a favor and leave the practice. A cocksure doctor with so little compassion is not who I want responsible for my care, nor of my family. Remember you work for the patient.

    Amedeo, Dr. Michael R.
I've been a patient for 20 years (at least), an I've been totally satisfied with his performance; however, Dr. Amedeo is retiring in August, 2016. He has been sharing his practice with Dr. Dreger for some time. She is a well reviewed internist, and I would be interested in seeing her, but her new "format" does not include insurance billing, etc. She has a set fee for 5 visits per year. Doesn't look like a smart choice for anyone who has medicare and/or other insurance.

    Anne Epstein MD
I had a series of really frustrating experience with doctors in the Lubbock area. Actually, it wasn't so much the doctors, as their staff. Wrong information for walk-in hours; refusal to make a same day, or at least next day, appointment for urgent problems; scheduling mistakes, billing errors, you name it.
All this is in the past. Dr. Epstein's staff is extremely efficient. I have had same day appointments every time I needed them, and I never had to wait long for someone to return my call.
Dr. Epstein herself is a bit of a bulldog, in the most positive sense of the word: she is thorough, and she will not dismiss any of your complaints without serious investigation. She is absolutely non-judgmental. She walks you through the problems and the alternatives. She will explain you why she thinks you need this test or that medication. She will work with you if you want a less expensive option. She will answer any questions you have, and will be available until she is satisfied that you have understood. She is not the kind of physician who squeezes as many patients in as she can, she will take the time she needs, and sometimes that will mean that a patient has to wait (I rarely had to). She makes no apology for taking the time she needs to do her job, and I am even more appreciative of that now that I live in a place where doctors want patients in and out of the door as quickly as possible.

Waiting room is very attractive and usually not a long wait.  I have been seeing her for over 30 years.  She emphasizes patient education.  Staff is very friendly and cordial.  Small practice so it feels like family and not like your just a number.  I would tell family that she is very thorough, focused and takes the time to get to know you.

I have been seeing her for 4 years. She has excellent bedside manner. She listens to you and takes her time with you. The staff is sometimes not quite on, but the doctor definitely makes up for that. Scheduling an appointment is fairly easy.

Dr. Susan Kim is amazingly caring and very thorough. She listens and asks questions to make sure she understands any issues completely. She makes referrals as needed and always follows up. She has been available consistently. She is open to all of your ideas of what you feel you need. She also practices accupuncture. She always researches your medications to make sure they interact well and always pays attention to your symptoms to give you the best care. She is one of the best doctors I have ever had. My husband refuses to go to the doctor and I got him to go to her and he agrees she is a great doctor.

The office staff is extremely friendly. The practice also has onsite labs and I have never waited. They take you back during your appointment. You can also drop in with no wait as well.

    Arlington Primary Care PC
I had a rather interesting visit to Dr. Chu. I am fortunate that I generally have very few health issues, as a result, I typically do not see a doctor more than two or three times a year. Somehow earlier this year, i had a streak if issues to deal with and I had never really transferred from my old doctor in Baltimore for years.
I went to see Dr Chu after searching my provider website as I happened to have a pretty bad abscess, and I had gone to a great urgent care facility but they told me its best to follow up with a PCP, hence my visit to also combine with a yearly physical.
Somehow, she managed to freak me out with all kinds of potential ailment I might have, due to my age (just passed 40) combined with the pain from my abscess, it seemed I passed out momentarily, this promoted her to get alarmed, and send me down to the ER for a series of tests, I was admitted. Imagine going in for a routine medical appoint and then calling your wife to say you had been admitted to the ER! Long story short, the tests did not provide any alarming information or anything was wrong.
Now there are two major reasons why I have decided not to use Arlington Physicians any longer, ALL staff including Dr Chu were very nice, but they two primary reason I am looking for another doctors are, first, its been over 8 months since doing the physical, and I have NO RESULTS!!!! Nobody has called or emailed to say hey, your results are in! Good bad or ugly. And yes I bear some responsibility to follow up as well. Secondly and I think this is my BIGGER problem is their work hours cannot work for me. They take a break from 12 to 1.30 and then are closed by 4pm. I understand the lunch closing, but I do get then closing the doors by 4pm. I would typically got my appointments during a long break or leave work early, sadly both will not work with with this practice. There are other reasons, but these are the major ones why I have to look for another doctor.
I said I would not use them again, but could if the hours change.

    Prinz, Dr. Ulrich B
He's gives a good overall evaluation and takes the time to recommend specialist care if needed. He's up-to-date with the latest information and totally dedicated to practicing medicine. His specialty is gerontology and he's been known to make house calls in extreme cases. My Father was disabled and for the last 25 years helped and Dr. Prinz e helped him live to 101. Their office staff is outstanding. Dr. Prinz is a prince of a doctor.

They were awesome. They got me in and out of there. I called in, went to the lab and took the sample. They gave me a prescription quickly. However, the billing is horrible and the is not on the same page.

My primary care physician is Dr. Jehan El-Bayoumi and I am very satisfied with her service. She seems very competent and she is a very nice person. She's very thorough and patient oriented. The nurses are very competent and the physicians that Dr. El-Bayoumi referred me to were very competent. Dr. Morgan is my pulmonologist and he is very patient oriented as well. Both the doctors are very responsive when I have a question. I e-mail them when I have a question and generally I get an answer within a day. My ophthalmologist is Dr. Tania Lamba and she's also very patient oriented and willing to answer questions.
