    Salzano Custom Concrete
We had Salzano Custom Concrete pour a almost 400 sqft patio and a 30 ft walkway with stairs last month. They did an incredible job. We had such a lovely experience with them. CJ is a consummate professional. He answered all my questions completely and the first time. There was no back and forth trying to get answers from him. His crews were fabulous. They had to do quite a bit of digging for our project but left the area in really good shape. And even when we made a last minute change to the concrete forms...there was no attitude about the extra work involved. They 100% wanted to make sure we were happy with our project. If we ever need another concrete project done, I'm coming back to them.

    Fairfax Contractor
The crew did a great job. Once they started they didn't finish until everything was complete, sometimes working late into the evening. They also worked on the weekend so they could take advantage of good weather. They paid attention to details and went out of their way to ensure I was pleased with the outcome. The salesmen, estimators, owner, and crew were all a pleasure to work with.

    Mottern Masonry Design
We are so happy we had Mottern create our new walkway! Everyone there was super prompt, professional and helpful in deciding what to do with our old ugly front walkway. They dug up the old concrete walkway, then poured and perfected a new one for us. The results are even better than we hoped - the new stamped concrete looks like flagstone and is so beautiful!

    Phoenix Home Services Inc
Did incredible work. I just bought the house and they literally started a day after the sale went through. In a month they had the basement totally renovated with flooring walls, ceiling, too wet bars oh, a totally new bathroom, and a laundry room. All changes were designed by Clint and managed by Steve and his crew come. I basically gave them the keys to the basement all month and let them run with it with only occasion calls for clarification. They were able to get the whole place renovated, painted, cleaned up, and permitted within a month. I've had issues in the past with other Angieslist referrals but these guys are the real deal. Thanks for the great work!

    C&N Construction LLC
In the past, I used C & N Construction for work on my Great Falls house at which point, Cecario did a very good job. I reviewed him at that time with an outstanding rating. Since then, I relocated and again asked C&N Construction to do concrete, brick and stone work, totaling $12,350 to install flagstone steps, a flagstone wall, flagstone patio and to replace some bricks. When completed, the measurements were off by 3 inches along a 12 foot edge. Cecerio acknowledged that he was off "a little bit" but any construction or design manager would not agree that such a disparity constitutes "a little bit" off. Cecerio sent his concrete worker back at my request to give the edge a more even look, but that effort was so minimal leaving such a poor edge that every construction person who has subsequently come to my house has agreed that it was just a token effort, not quality at all. I read reviews in general and noticed before my work was contracted a review on C&N Construction which detailed big problems with measurements on his job. I should have taken more notice. In addition, several flagstones had pits and other defects in them which a good quality control person would have/could have eliminated in the construction. After the job was done, Cecerio sent one of his workers back who did replace one stone but there were others. Cecerio blamed his supplier, Sislers Stone, but my feeling is that I paid Cesario/C&N for the whole job, not Sislers, so if stone is a problem, which it was, it falls to Cesario who collected the payment, to find a better supplier. My issue is with Cesario, not Sisters.

    Mottern Masonry Design
The project went well. We asked them to pour a new concrete pad for the entrance (the old one was cracked) and replace the failing retaining wall (original from 1957). The final result completely satisfied my requirements and expectations. The project was completed on time and on budget as agreed to. Jeff and Guy were prompt, professional, and courteous and quickly resolved the only issue I had, which was relatively minor. The new wall looks great and I expect to bring them back for some additional work.

Julio and his crew are wonderful! They created a walkway to my backyard and upgraded my backyard by planting different plants. It was so professional done with limited time frame, we decided to hire him again to do our front walkway. Julio explained to us why our old walkway kept collapse in the past and provided the permanent solution for it. The walkway is so beautifully done and we are very pleased. We will recommend Julios company to anyone we know! Thank you, Julio!

    Allen Home Masonry
Mr. Allen came out right away to look at my house and see what work needed to be done. He called with an estimate the next day, and completed the work within a day after that. The work needed was at top of a house, underneath and behind gutter pipes - located at third story from base. We had a lot of rain after his work, and I no longer have rain coming into the house. I called another local mason who had many high ratings but the other mason would not do the job because of height location. The new cement is darker than other cement on house, but its not noticable as it is high near gutter line. That color might lighten up too. Overall, I'm grateful to Mr. Allen for speed and competence.

    Garrison Homes LLC
Mr. Garrison completed everything as agreed and I get a lot of compliments from my neighbors asking me who did the work for me. There were no hidden charges and every employee working under him was very professional. I would recommend them for your next home improvement project.

    Basement Innovations Waterproofing
We hired Basement Innovations to deal with drain issue at the bottom of our outdoor basement steps. While it took them some time to come out and give an estimate, the process was painless and fast. Mike followed up pretty quickly afterwards with our options. After we settled on them, we had to wait a few weeks to schedule the work due to other jobs. I took the day off work to wait for the guys and got a call from an apologetic Brian that the crew had car issues. That was pretty annoying but they went out of their way to get the job done just a few days later (on a Saturday morning no less). The crew showed up early (I actually had to let them know they could start as they waited for the time they promised) and they got to work. The jackhammered out our existing base and drain (which took some time), put in the sump and related piping, etc., and laid the new concrete. The entire job took about 4 hours. They cleaned up the site and the whole setup has worked as designed since. The proposed work was much less costly and far more simple than others we received (no indoor work, no dealing with potential asbestos, etc.) and the work done is what was agreed. With few exceptions it was a pretty no frills interaction. I hope to never need a company like this again, but if I needed it, I would definitely use them again.
