Chiropractor reviews in Falls Church

    Geer, Dr. James R.
I personally feel much better as soon as Dr. Geer adjusts my left s.i. joint, sub-occipitals or whatever areas are misaligned at any given visit. I know this is unusual because many people take a few adjustments before getting appreciably better, but however many treatments are needed, I highly recommend this practice. I go to the Falls Church location, but Dr. Geer also has another office.

Dr. Amir is awesome I great attention to details and patient needs. He is a life saver when I am in great pain. Visiting his office is like visiting family. Everyone including the reception staff are friendly and recall all patients by name. I feel much better since coming to the office!

Significant administrative problems with this practice so much so that I never did receive treatment despite going to two appointments. After making my first appointment I completed new patient forms from the doctor's website.  It took me half an hour to complete the forms.  When I arrived for the appointment I was told I was mistaken, I had no appointment.  The receptionist eventually acknowledged she made a mistake in not properly scheduling the appointment and gave me a lukewarm apology.  She told me the forms I completed were useless.  She told me there were new forms that she should have sent me but did not.  She asked me to complete all of the new forms although much of the info (e.g., addresses, insurance) was duplicative of the info I already had provided.  I told her I would review the new forms and provide all new information, which I did.  I spent an additional 10 minutes in the office doing this before I left.  When I returned two days later for the rescheduled appointment I was told it had been canceled.  I get everyone has a bad day and we all make mistakes.  But I should not have been initially blamed for the scheduling mixup and when the receptionist learned I did not complete the correct forms DUE TO HER MISTAKE in not sending me the new forms she should have done what she could to ameliorate the problem.  I should have been provided at least 24 hours notice of the cancellation unless there was an emergency, which there was not.
I hope the doctor can think about what might be done to avoid these problems in the future.  E.g., if there is a scheduling problem, acknowledge and apologize immediately, minimize whatever inconvenience that might have been caused due to the mistake.  In this case that might have been to apologize tor the form mixup and she might have offered to talk to the doctor to find out whether the information on the forms I completed could be used in this instance due to her mistake.  It might be helpful for the office to have policies on how to handle mistakes.  It also would be helpful for the website to have the proper forms.  If this can't be done the website might at least contain a note that the forms on the site are not current and that if the office does not send new forms to call the office to request the new forms.  If such a note had existed I would have called the office, learned about the scheduling problem, received the proper forms and all this would have been avoided.

    Solano, Raymond
I've always liked that not only does Dr Solano do a great chiropractic adjustment, but he also knows about and will tell you if other therapies would either compliment his work, or possibly be what you need instead of chiropractic treatment.  He'll use e-Stim when indicated and he's always encouraged me to pair adjustments with massage (I have a separate therapist not associated with his office), and that has kept me pain free for years. Most importantly, he's not one of those chiropractors who tries to tells you that chiropractic solves everything.
In fact, what really convinced me that Dr Solano should be ranked as a top chiropractor was when I came to his office in June 2015 with what I thought was my back suddenly 'going out'. When I mentioned that my lower left outside leg had started feeling a little numb too, he immediately sent me for an MRI.  Dr Solano took one look at the CD they gave me and immediately sent me to a top local surgeon (who incidentally didn't know Dr Solano, and normally doesn't like chiropractors).  That surgeon diagnosed a badly herniated disk requiring surgery (which shocked me because it really didn't hurt that much).
Thank heavens Dr Solano knew exactly what to look and ask for, and he didn't hesitate to make sure I got the best possible care, even if it wasn't from him.  Not only that, he even called the surgeon directly once to get me an appointment sooner that I would have been able to get it myself.  Dr Solano called me unprompted during my recovery, just to check on me, and later helped me find a really good physical therapist to help me with my recovery (again, not someone associated with his office).
Everything worked out great - I'm fully recovered, and I'm back to seeing Dr Solano every month for general maintenance.  I trust him implicitly.  Oh and did I mention that he takes insurance and his prices are really reasonable too?  Believe me - he's good.

    Brooks, Dr. Joshua
Dr. Brooks did an excellent job helping my back feel better.  Within a few weeks I was feeling much better, and after a couple of months I was almost completely back to normal.
I highly recommend using him.  I've been to chiropractors who are like salesman, always trying to get you to buy something else to help them.  Dr. Brooks didn't try to up sell me, he treated me, and helped me get better.
I recommend him to anyone who is having back/neck problems.

    Pinecrest Wellness Center
wi came in thinking this place was good based on angie's list reviews. big mistake. I felt that when I got their they were taking advantage. they wanted, no insisted that i sign all these waiver and lien forms, that i didn't think was fair to do (why didn't they send these to me with the new patient form they gave me ahead of time) and I'm a lawyer. They wanted to charge me more than the insurance negotiated normal rate b/c i was in an accident (sound fishy?). I wound you deciding to Dr. Olya Morgan who was great and didn't need any of this BS that pinecrest wanted. they just took my insurance not problem.

    Maimonides Chiropractic
I have been seeing for about two years ago and started seeing her when I was pregnant. Since then, I have been going to see her and as well have been bringing my family including my young child. While she is my chiropractor, I actually see her as my primary care physician as well. She has a holistic approach and feels that with adjustments, she can provide treatment. If you have a cold, headache, or anything of that nature, her adjustments can provide a treatment. For example, if you have an earache, she can adjust your neck to allow your ears to drain so that you don't have to use antibiotics. When you arrive for your appointment, even if you are early, she is able to get you right in. For her availability, she is not open full days every day and some days she is only available half of the day. However, she makes up for this through in her treatment.

    Dr. Brandon Lemuel
I think Dr. Lemuel is probably a fine chiropractor but on my second visit I was assailed with a "package deal" that was not what I wanted and I was made to understand that without it my treatment would not go ahead. I explained I wasn't interested and it was left for a while, but when I didn't go back I got rather too many "concerned" phone calls. It felt like a pretty unpleasant hard sell.
