    Automotive Specialists Center
The biggest virtue of Automotive Specialist Center is that they can be trusted. Also important is that their prices are fair and much less than what would be paid to a dealer garage. They do not have all the bells and whistles, like loaner cars and a fancy waiting room, but they make up for that with a personal touch and customer service. Owner Tim Minor has over 30 years of experience working on cars. There's not much he cannot figure out.

    Integrity Tire & Auto
I couldn't be happier with the service that Chris provided when we had a blown tire that wouldn't even come off our car in the driveway. He came to the house as promised to loosen the lug nuts. When I asked him if he could replace the tire, he said yes - but it would only be the next day, because he had to order it. He also explained that I was welcome to look for someone who could replace it on the same day, that I shouldn't feel any obligation to buy a tire from him just because of the service call. I replied that this kind of integrity was exactly why I wanted to do business with him. So he installed the spare that day, then the new tire the next - while waiving the callout charge. Recommended!

When asked whether there would be a charge to determine what was needed and how long it would take I did not get an answer other than we could look at it now. 35 min later I was told it would need an expansion valve ($143.95) and a dyes leak test kit ($119.). I would have to leave the car for several hours. Since I would have to return at a later date, I was then charged $59. for the system check of "1.0 hr". I was given a total estimate of "$524.99", requiring replacing the expansion valve. A week later I had my scheduled 30K service performed elsewhere and the work on the AC was completed at the same time for $247.90. It only needed required repairing a leak at the expansion valve and recharging the refrigerant. ONE HALF the estimate from Virginia Auto Repair. My family and I have lived in NOVA since the '60s and we used their predecessor Witstatt's Auto AC. We never had a problem like this.

They put in new alternator on next business day and also replaced burned out backup light. Don's services both my cars regularly. The mechanics have proved themselves to be honest, outgoing, skillful and knowledgeable. Their management is top notch, and seems dedicated to hiring and keeping only the best people.

The Brake Squad Mobile Brake Repair Service
Service was excellent. After trying (and failing) to get appointments at other businesses, I called the Brake Guys and got a prompt response. They quoted me a very good price and scheduled the appointment for the next day. Alex came to my office, inspected the car and pointed out exactly what I needed. I was able to split the payment in two for a nominal fee, which really helped as well. The work was done while I worked in my office, and completed in less than 2 hours. I couldn't be happier with the results! Only wish I'd called them first!

I wish i could say I had a nice thing to say about this business. They came highly recommended and with enthusiasm i decided to take my cobra for some work. From the start i didn't rush them and gave them ample time to do there thing. Now to be fair my car is a cobra kit car, which is not A very high tech automobile but it does take a special person to work on it. About a month into the repair I received a call from the manager Josh and we proceeded to talk about the things that they were going to do and a price range. We would do the work and see what else needed to be done after the initial work. I was OK with the initial quote. The car was sitting for about 5 years and wanted them to go over it, get it started and to see what else we would need to do. Another 2 weeks go by by and i called Josh to see where we stood. Some issues, parts didn't come in, mechanic was on vacation, wrong parts came in. So by this time i was getting a little worried what was taking so long. Josh asked me to come and we could discus the things that they did, OK no problem. I asked what day was good to come by and we agreed to meet up on Tuesday after labor day. Tuesday morning i get there with my friend who recommended this place. Secretary greeted us and she said Josh was off that day. WHAT??? how the **** do you make an appointment and not be there?? OK so what ever, not happy at the moment. So Dwayne the head mechanic who was working on my car was there so we spoke to him. From the start of the conversation i could tell he was not happy with my car being in his bay for 2 months. We spoke for about 15 minutes and Dwayne proceeded to tell us that "these are not money making jobs for us" talking about my car. Like hes doing a ***&^5 charity work. REALLY????? YOU DON'T LIKE WORKING ON CARS LIKE THESE BUT YET YOU HAD IT FOR 2 ******* MONTHS???? Moving forward, called Josh Wednesday, no apology no nothing about missing the meeting. OK no problem. during our conversation we agreed to do what was on the list and leave everything else alone and i would send a flat bed to pick up my car. I told Josh i would need a final bill. He said i will call you tomorrow (Thursday). Thursday came and went no calls from Josh. Friday came and no calls. I called him at 5:10 on Friday and the Secretary said he had left for the day. I asked her why didn't he call me, she said "he lost your number" . HE LOST MY NUMBER?? DIDN'T HE HAVE A FILE ON MY CAR??? HE LOST THE FILE WITH THE INFO ON IT??? REALLY??? I went there on Monday to pay the bill, Josh greeted me with a hand shake, i didn't want to shake his hand but i'm not that kind of person so i shook his hand. He apologized for the entire situation and said that they dropped the ball on this job he knew i wasn't happy Ok so what ever its over just pay my bill and ill take my car. As if all this situation wasn't bad enough, Josh begins to say that he spoke to the mechanic and that's not what he had said about my car. I WAS FURIOUS, NOW YOUR CALLING ME A LIAR??? My friend was next to me and he heard every ****** thing that Dwayne said. Well i paid and couldn't wait to get out of there. Finally my car was brought to my house. FINALLY. Well guess what??? the car has scratches on it. The car was freshly painted and they were told numerous times that it was fresh paint. I emailed josh with a video of the scratches on the same day (Monday) no response. I emailed again on Thursday with c/c my attorney. Now it is Sunday night and no response. I guess we'll see you in court. So in conclusion I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THESE GUYS TO ANYONE.

    Ben Nielsen's Skyline Automotive
Skyline Automotive was great to work with. Very responsive in setting up the appointment and no nonsense once I got there. They looked at the car, recommended what they thought I needed to do, discussed other options, and then got the job done. They are not the cheapest option available, but I was very satisfied with the work done and the overall experience. I will use them again.

There were numerous items that needed to be repaired and the bill was costly. There was also an issue with the windshield and poor follow through by the vendor regarding the safety inspection. An issue with the braking system that should have been covered under a warranty which my husband had to call and speak to someone to get satisfactory service for.

Excellent! Highly responsive, great to deal with, and extremely good value for money. We are really pleased. Nova's services were significantly cheaper than those of other garages that quoted to do the work.

    Liberty Service Station
The garage that I use for almost everything is the Liberty gas station.  I use them for everything.
I believe the cam sensors failed, so we actually had to have the car towed there.  They did that and a couple of other things to fix it.  They did a nice job and I would give them straight A's across the board.
