    We had a great experience with them. We needed new windows, siding, trim, and a storm door. Our estimator/project lead was Brad, he was very easy to work with, was very responsive over email, and came by multiple times to answer questions and finalize styles/colors. No pressure or sales gimmicks. Both the window crew and the siding crew did a great job, and we were really impressed with the final result. Highly recommended!

    I used RM Banning for a roofing repair last year and they lived up to their A rating. It was an emergency situation. They were responsive and came out quickly. This year, when I needed a siding repair, I saw that they also do siding, so I called them. They set up an appointment within a few days from my call. Troy arrived right in the middle of the two-hour time window they had set. He was personable and very helpful. He came back the next day and completed the work. He communicated throughout the process. There was a misunderstanding on the price based on what their office person told me and they honored the price, even though it was wrong. That's rare these days. When it's time to replace our roof, we will definitely be calling them again.

    Homefix was great! They did all the work in a single day. Everything was clean and efficient. It was a custom made door because of odd measurements created by the previous builders. Homefix knew what to do without a hitch. The door looks great. The air flow is significantly better. The door isn't leaking cold air like it used to. The workers were kind, respectful, and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend them!

    For the most part, the siding itself is nice. Way too expensive, but its nice. That's where it ends. My siding was installed in early October 2018, and here we are in December and Window Nation is asking me to pay my balance, though they haven't finished the job. During the installation, they forgot to install the rear soffit, damaged a window frame, didn't replace one of my exterior vents, and the vents the did replace did not have a grate on them to keep animals from crawling in. I've been the only one to initiate contact. Not once did Window Nation contact me to make sure the job was done and ask if I was satisfied. I've kept a log of all contact, which you can see below. Window Nation siding install problem history June 26- Salesman Alex came and gave an estimate, signed contract. Work would be contingent upon HOA approval (noted in contract). June 29- Submitted paperwork to HOA for approval. Aug 8- Siding replacement approved by HOA. Informed Window Nation. Oct 8- Installation begins. Rear of house stripped, 3/4 installed. Oct 9- Installaion continues. Rear of house finished, front stripped, 2/3 front installed. Oct 10- Front siding install finished. Noticed rear soffit was not replaced, asked installer about rear soffit, was told that I had told him it's not needed (I had told installer that a new rake board was not needed on the rear, but that soffit was needed). Spoke to Melanie at Window Nation, she provided personal cell number for me to send some pictures after installers leave. Installers left around 7:15pm, which was too dark to give good pictures. Was informed by installer that they would be back next week on Wednesday or Thursday (Oct 17/18) to replace rear soffit. Oct 11- Did not return home from work until after 7:30 pm, too dark and rainy for pictures. Oct 12- Took pictures of outside of house, sent to Melanie. Also noticed the kitchen vent on the front (to the left of bay window) had not been replaced. Notified Melanie in same text message about the vent. Oct 14- Noticed nails sticking through window trim on the inside of the half bath window (circular window). Took pictures. Oct 15- Sent text message to Melanie in the morning with new pictures and explanation. Oct 19- Called Window Nation ~10am, asked to speak to Melanie to receive an update on the situation. After a brief hold, I was notified that the service manager was not available at the moment, but a message would be left to give me a call back with an update on my situation. Oct 23- Called Window Nation ~230pm, my information was taken, and I was called shortly afterwards by Melanie. She mis-understood the texts I had sent earlier, and thought the work was complete. She told me the installer had been out for the last week, and she would get in touch with them and give me a call on Oct 24. Oct 25- Received call from Melanie at Window Nation to my work phone. Called back on my cell. Still no date yet, but they're working on it and didn't want to leave me hanging. Nov 07- Called Melanie's Window Nation cell phone, asked for an update. Somebody named Jennifer was mentioned, but poor signal kept me from hearing some information. Melanie told me she would get back to me the same day. Did not hear back. Nov 13- Called Melanie's Window Nation cell phone, asked for an update. Was told that I should receive a call no later than COB Nov 14 to schedule time to finish the job. Nov 16- Received call at work from Jennifer at Window Nation. Scheduled work for Nov. 28. Inquired about window repair, vent replacement (kitchen vent) and anti-critter grates/mesh. Sent text message to Jennifer's WN mobile phone introducing myself and attached three pictures- one of the not-yet-replaced vent, two of window damage. Nov 20- Called to leave Jennifer a voicemail requesting install date be moved to a weekend, but mailbox is full. Was eventually able to speak to her and move install date to December 8. Informed Jennifer I had a haircut appointment at 930am that day, but would be home by 10am. Jennifer confirmed that they would be working on repairing damage to the window frame in the half-bath, and installing the rear soffit. No information given regarding the kitchen vent that had not been replaced, nor the vents with no grates. Dec 8- Installer shows up at 330pm. Inspects damage in bathroom window, and tells me he will come by on Thursday to finish everything. I ask why the exterior vent for the kitchen was replaced, he says that it's a different size than the dryer/bathroom vents, and they didn't have the parts. Dec 12- Recieved email from Brittney at Window Nation informing me that to close out my account and activate my warranty, the remaining balance of my account must be paid. Perhaps they didn't get the memo that my installation still is not complete. The rear soffit still has not been replaced, the damage to my window frame has not been repaired, my kitchen vent has not been replaced, and my concerns regarding the other vents not having a grate to keep animals out has not been addressed. Dec 12- Recieved a call from the installer. He says he will come by tomorrow (Thursday Dec 13) in the morning to take care of the soffit and the damage. Not sure how he will repair the window frame if I'm not home.

    It went great. Our siding was ripped off the house by the high winds. Exterior Medics responded promptly and installed a temporary tarp. They later replaced the damaged siding. All of my interactions with the staff were pleasant. I will definitely use them again.

    Everything that was promised was delivered. Quite pleased with the quality of the products and installations. They work efficiently. I had Power out to replace my siding, trim, gutters, and a few windows in 2014 and was so pleased that I now had them back out to replace my roof today. I will calling Power for future work down the line and would highly recommend them.

    As a realtor in Northern Virginia who was trying to help facilitate an appointment for an estimate, on behalf of a very busy seller, this company's policy of not even discussing an appointment unless it's with the seller is very short sighted and could possibly lead to losing quite a bit of potential business. Realtors are in front of home owners every single day and we are asked constantly for referrals on all things house. We are also asked, by buyers/sellers to make things, such as this, easier for the working homeowner. So sorry but instead of adding the name of this company to a valued list of contractors I will be leaving them out.
