    Great service. They picked up the units on time and the staff was very friendly. They were even able to accommodate a rush pick up. The driver called ahead and was very careful maneuvering through our yard. I will using this service on my next move.

    I called Jimmy late on Wednesday and he came out the following day and began work. He removed the broken post, measured, painted and installed the new one. He reattached the mailbox as it was not damaged. I have used him twice before and he always did excellent work. He is very friendly,professional,and honest. I would definitely use him again.

    TYLER'S TV
    Initially my experience with Tyler's TV was pretty decent. Samsung assigned them to fix my malfunctioning television. When they arrived to do the work, the technician said "Nothing personal, but if I had known that you were in an apartment building, we wouldn't have cancelled the appointment". Kind of odd way to start the conversation, and doubly so considering how most of Northern VA lives in apartments, but OK. They were otherwise pleasant and were on their way when the work was completed. I began experiencing the issue again, and called them back to re-repair the television. I was told they'd "look into it" and call me back. A week later, I realized I hadn't received a call, so I called again, and was told that they'd have someone on it and would call me back. I begrudgingly approved and hung up. This was around Thanksgiving and I was traveling for the next week, but I never received a call. When I got home and called Tyler's TV again, I was told that I needed to call Samsung to "get the ticket to the top of the queue". OK. I called Samsung again, and told them that Tyler's TV had sort of been giving me the run-around. Apparently my comments angered the technicians, because after calling them about the new ticket, they told me to find a new service provider, as they would not be willing to work with customers who make "derogatory comments about the services". The technician then doubled down on his previous comments, saying that it's difficult to move TV screens into apartment buildings. Again, it seems odd that they have such deeply-held biases against apartment buildings. Considering how I carried my TV, box and all, into my apartment with no issues, I think it would be a safe assumption that two technicians could find a way to carry a screen into an elevator and through a door. If you live in an apartment, I suggest looking elsewhere for TV repair, because the technicians at Tyler's TV admittedly aren't able to navigate the halls.

    Just finishing up my second level with Spanish Blackbelt. The progress has been incredible! First, the interaction with a live tutor is far superior to listening to language tapes or software programs. The instant feedback has been fantastic in improving my comprehension. But more importantly, this program is about communicating with others first ��� making yourself understood. The finer points of grammar and vocabulary are introduced poco a poco, as Alejandro would say. Would I recommend Spanish Blackbelt to a friend? No. I would recommend Spanish Blackbelt to anyone interested in learning Spanish! The program is excellent, the tutors are first rate, and the experience has been exceptional. In case you were wondering, yes, I really am very excited about starting my next session!

    My experience with G&J Moving was phenomenal, from my first interaction with the Eric, the sales rep, to the actual move of my possessions from one location to another. The first move of furniture to storage went without a hitch. The crew arrived on time and was professional, courteous, friendly, respectful and attentive to details. I identified the furniture pieces to be transported and the crew worked quickly and efficiently to get the pieces onto the truck. I was particularly impressed with the crew���s work ethic. They wasted no time in prepping my furniture for transport and were careful to ensure that all furniture was properly wrapped to prevent damage. Prior to leaving, they confirmed that all pieces to be moved were on the truck and that I was satisfied with the task completion. The second move to my new home was just as positive. Due to personal circumstances, the transport date was a moving target and Eric worked with me to arrange and rearrange dates & move locations. I appreciated his flexibility and patience with multiple changes throughout the process. On the actual move date, the crew was equally as impressive as the first time around and the actual move went incredibly smoothly and quickly. All in all, I could not be happier with my experience. The initial price quote for both moves was very competitive and there were no pricing surprises at the completion of each job. The sales staff and move crew were exceptional and delivered what they promised. I would not hesitate to use G&J again and, in fact, have already recommended them to others.

    I have to say, i was so thrilled to have a contractor come in the home, be neat, clean, methodical and precise in his work. We move out of that house 6 years ago and It just went up for sale, I went in and the one thing that stood the test of time? The 4 tvs are still there, in place, in perfect condition.

    My Guys Moving & Storage
    I really hate to give this company a negative review because at first I thought they were very good. I liked the crew chief a27000nd his packers that pre-packed our basement so much that I asked for them back again to move our stuff into temporary storage and then again for the permanent interstate move 6 months later. But ultimately, my last experience with them left a very bad taste in my mouth as I felt overcharged and the company reps non-responsive. There were other issues as well. To begin, for the final move I was quoted 9655 (for actual weight) and the final cost was 11805, 22% higher. Unfortunately, our estimate had somehow gotten packed away and so I couldn't question it at the time of unloading. Once I found it 2 months later, I attempted to find out why the final price was so much higher. I first called the interstate coordinator, Michele, who said that my paper work had to be retrieved from storage and she would get back to me. She didn't and I continually had to call back. She eventually said it had to do with increased tariff fees. Unable to answer further questions about this she referred me to Terry, the original estimator. Communicating with Terry was difficult with my constantly having to leave messages and when reached, him promising to research the problem or get info and call back but rarely doing so. At the original estimate he had assured me that all fees were included, including any origin/destination charges that might be incurred and that there wouldn't be any surprises. However, on the final bill there was an additional charge of 1225 for an origin/destination fee. When I was able to talk with him he seemed surprised, concerned and puzzled by why his estimate was so much lower and why that additional charge was listed and said he would investigate. He ultimately said he would seek clarification from the owner and get back to me. After weeks had gone by I finally was able to reach him. He explained that his understanding was that since our move was delayed three months due to building delays, in the interim the tariff fees had increased. However, at no time was I informed that this might happen and then was never informed when it did happen. This is especially galling as I was paying the company 1300 a month in storage fees for those extra months and overall they were making a lot of money off of me. Terry seemed sympathetic and said he'd see what could be done but never contacted me again. Other issues were the company not supplying the proper manpower, resulting in 16 hour moves both into storage and on move-in day. It also wasn't apparent until we slowly unpacked, that one of the packers threw a lot of random unwrapped stuff, including electronic equipment, into large wardrobe boxes. We also received a box that wasn't ours and asked what to do but got no answer. Overall, I would recommend not using this company. If you do, do not believe their estimate!!

    For $75, Carlton Tyler promptly came to our home and diagnosed the problem with our TV. He subtracted the fee from the final cost to repair the TV. Pick up and delivery are included in the price if he has to take the TV to his shop, as he did in our case. We found him to be very customer service oriented, honest and reasonably priced. A very pleasant gentleman as well. I will recommend him to friends and neighbors. I honestly wasn't sure there were even TV repairman around anymore, but I am glad there are.

    Zippy Shell Storage and Moving
    My ZippyShell experience was a great one! From the first time I contact Bill, he was incredibly helpful and flexible in terms of timing and availability. We were beginning the process of selling our home and used a portable shell to de-clutter. Drop off and pick up were flawless and easy to schedule. Once we sold the house, we contacted Bill again to schedule a full scale move. Again, availability and flexibility were top notch, but what made the experience even greater were the actual movers. They arrived on time, and were very cautious moving things around without damaging the walls and floors. These guys worked hard! They moved us out of our house in 4 hours and we were on to the new house. Upon arriving, they discovered that the truck would not be able to get up the driveway. Any normal person would have been frustrated and feel defeated, but the crew, Caesar, Carlos, Mario and Raheem worked together to create a assembly line and get everything up the driveway and never once complained about the additional work. These guys were awesome, friendly, and again, very cautious about making sure not to damage walls and floors. We had some large items which could not fit down the stairs to the basement and they warned us ahead of time that they would damage the walls if they tried. Just an example of how much they cared about making sure we were happy and our home was treated with care. I really cannot stress how great of a team these guys were and how hard they worked. Overall a great experience. My only suggestion is that Zippyshell get some larger clearance trucks in their fleet. The truck they used was not a traditional large moving truck, but more like a race car trailer as it did not have much ground clearance. For most moves, this would more than suffice, but if you have a steep driveway, the truck will not be able to climb it. Because of this, the truck had to be parked at the end of our long driveway which added a considerable amount of time to our move, which of course meant additional expense. Again, over all a great experience and the crew were just a great group of guys who worked really hard. I would absolutely hire Zippyshell again! Final thought, don���t foret to tip the movers! These guys work so hard and deserve every penny they make! Thanks Zippyshell!
