Dr. Hughes saw me and my x-rays and sent me to a pain management doctor. Everyone I spoke with recommended surgery. When I went back to Dr. Hughes 6 months later, after exhausting all the pain management options, he dismissed me without even looking at my cat scan. He only looked at the original xrays. The CT scan with mylogram the Director of Neurosurgery at Virginia Hospital Center did showed a much worse problem that definitely needed surgery. This after Dr. Hughes spent literally 2 minutes with me and left the room saying his issue was "doctor stuff"--completely condescending. The promised call from him never came. I had to pay for that. And he left me in pain. Luckily, I found Dr. Chandela and will get the surgery I need to keep functioning. It wasn't easy. I don't appreciate Dr. Hughes lack of help or concern.

    Stinger, Dr. Robert B.
The office staff was very friendly and professional. I got in to see the doctor at the appointed time. Dr. Stinger provided a clear explanation of the problem with my shoulder and his recommended treatment. The exercises he prescribed had my shoulder back to normal in a few weeks.

I saw Dr. Wilhelm several months ago.  He was very thorough in his exam, which first included xrays, then a thorough review of the findings.  He really knows his stuff.  The good news is that he thought all the probs could be corrected with orthotics (mine were about 15 years old and no longer doing the job), and various stretches of my tight calf muscles.  The problems I was having are really better, especially when I stick to the stretching regimen (which I'll admit I haven't been very good at keeping up with this).  He sent my previous orthotics out for refurbishment, which took a VERY long time (I think ultimately about 8 weeks or so, because the first time, the company didn't properly do the refurbishment, so Dr. Wilhelm had to re-send them out.  It would have been nice if that whole process was quicker!! But in the end....I love my refurbed orthotics, and I really like Dr. Wilhelm.  He's a bit further then I wanted to travel, but worth the distance to have my feet in proper working order!

    Forrest, Dr. Scott
I have seen both Dr. Forrest and Allen for the past 10 plus years. They each have delivered one of my sons. I saw Dr. Forrest because Dr. Allen had a delivery. I like both doctors very much. They both have good bedside manner. The support staff is very hard working and so can tend to come across a little cold at times. They are busy and good at what they do. If they do need to reschedule your appt. ask if you can see the other doctor sooner. There was a bit of confusion last time but it all worked out.

He did the usual bend/twist, analyze and reviewed an older x-ray. Gave me options, explained that although an MRI might highlight fixable issues, there was a good chance it was just pain that comes with age. But did suggest to really work out my knee hard prior to any future visit and/or MRI. I will likely go ahead and do that and do a follow up visit.

Dr Madden is very matter fact, he performs thorough analysis of the problem, asks questions to hone in on the area of concern, tests the body part for movement or lack of, and recommends courses of action. He is conservative in his care and will recommend stretching, PT etc before jumping into surgery.

Dr Klein was extremely professional- he explained the problem with my shoulder following X-ray was conservative in his care making a range of recommendaations and discussing options with me. So treatment was a joint decision. His bedside manner was engaging and made me feel comfortable with him immediately even on my first visit. Would definitely go to see Dr Klein again if needed.

Dr Novak also had a very personable bedside manner and was through in his review and analysis of my medical condition- knee. His office was thorough ensuing that I knew the implications of surgery and called the day before t ensure all questions were answered. Surgery was successful, his office followed up afterwards to ensure I was comfortable and again answering my questions. Would see him again if warranted.

All the doctors at C.O.R. we're thorough and overall stellar and I would recommend others seek their care.

They did a great time treating the bad back. Some times I felt they might not have pushed me hard enough as I did not see improvement as quickly as I would have liked. However, I have not hurt my back again since then and continue to do the exercises (with moderate frequency). I guess they truly knew what they were doing. Very convenient too.

    Theiss, Dr. Mark M.
Dr. Theiss was finally able to convince my health insurance company that an MRI scan was the appropriate next step. A bone-spur was subsequently identified and he removed it with orthoscopic surgery that solved the problem.

The doctor, Amanda Trucksess, knew immediately, after I explained the problem and its history, what the cause was. However, she was still thorough in ruling out other possibilities and ended up being correct in the end. She took the time to listen and answer all of my questions and was extremely knowledgeable.

    Klein, Dr. Thomas J.
I love him. He is very smart and very good at diagnostics. He is a good communicator. He has a good bedside manner. He is good at explaining things. He is very likeable and his patients love him. He gets top ratings in magazines. I have recommended him to a lot of people. He works well with my insurance company so I haven't had any problems in that regard.
