    Aunon Dental Group
Very nervous about appointment and chose the Aunon Group based on high ratings from all of AngiesList, Yelp and Google and I could not have been more pleased. After over 20 years of not seeing a dentist because of a very, very painful experience, I decided I needed to see one in order to set a good example for my daughter and finally take care of a broken tooth. They were great about allaying fears and offering the sedation laid the groundwork for dispelling the fear permanently. After my appointments were done, they went over planning for future steps (need to remove wisdom teeth via an oral surgeon, which they do not do there but offer referrals), and after my positive experience, we have chosen Dr. Aunon and Dr. Cruz to be our family dentists. My wife and 4 year old daughter both had very positive experiences as well and I believe the dentists and techs in the Aunon Group are a primary driver of the reason why my daughter looks forward to seeing the dentist. They are excellent with kids. And scared adults. I highly recommend them!

The assistants gave very detailed instructions on the procedures/possible issues.  I had called in advance and got an estimate, and I was able to get a ball-park figure over the phone.  The estimate was $1000 lower than what my dental practice had quoted, and they were able to get me in within a week (instead of months!)  The estimate was pretty much spot-on to the final price I paid, even with needing a secondary visit to actually get the implant.
Everything in the office is smoothly run, instructions are clear, and everything went well.

    Kravitz Dentistry
Extraordinarily good. All teeth were removed and the implant installed in 4 hours. Dr. Kravitz does not cut the gum tissue, so his promise of essentially pain-free implants is accurate. (The only pain was from the anesthetic injections, and that was gone in a day or so.)

Northern VA Oral, Maxillofacial & Implant Surgery
Dr. Naimi was my surgeon and was very thorough with his questioning and prepping prior to extraction. His office staff had already taken care of all the insurance & cost up front so that was not a concern after the fact (this is a HUGE deal for me). Getting all of the administrative stuff out of the way prior to the procedure displayed that this is a class act operation that I am working with. I have and will recommend others to this practice. One final note, the doctor actually called me the next day to see how the pain levels were and if I had any extra questions, that blew me away compared to previous orthodontic procedures I had in the area.

Overall I like these guys a lot but they are not cheap.  Sally is a wonderful hygienist who does a great job and is super sweet.  Dr. Rogers is a nice competent dentist with great bedside manner.  It take FOREVER to get an appointment.  I have type 2 diabetes so they want me to get a cleaning every 4 months as opposed to every 6 like most standards and its nearly impossible to get an appointment earlier than 6 months unless its an emergency.  I had to cancel one appointment due to travel and it was rescheduled nearly 4 months later.  They did put me on a cancelation list and have called me twice with potential next day appointments, but I haven't been able to make them.  They always push the fluoride "paint" which is not covered by my insurance.  I had a root canal done there at quite an expense only to have my tooth need to be pulled 1-1/2 years later.  An implant for one tooth was gonna be nearly $8,000.  He's had other associates work with him and the other associate did implants.  After my tooth was pulled and they were waiting for healing and the bone graft to improve, that associate left the practice.  So at that point my only option was to go find someone else to do the implant - not what I wanted to deal with at that kind of expense.  I haven't had time to find another dentist yet and am living with a missing tooth for awhile.

Everything went well; the communication with me as a parent as well as with my daughter was clear and caring. His office staff is extremely professional and they made us feel very comfortable with the payment arrangements -- even when there was a bit of a and quot;glitchand quot;. Excellent oral surgeon with an excellent supporting team.

    William Goff DDS
Dr. Goff's office is an excellent location for all the government and private offices in the Crystal City area. Went to his office for a cleaning and initial consultation on how to repair a very large filling on a uppper molar that had cracked and repaired 2 times and now was cracked a third time. The hygenist who did my cleaning did a great job (removed stains from my teeth from recently removed braces that prior hygenists were not successful in removing). Next, was my consultation with Dr. Goff. He felt the best course of action for this large cracked filling was to replace it with a crown which is about a $1200 procedure. I sought out a second opinion and the next Dr. said that would not be necessary because she could see the bottom molar had a slight peak that with every bite down was acting like a hammer in one spot. She refilled the cavity and filed down the lower molar's peak point. It has been perfect for 1 year now and cost me something like $200 bucks and it will be there for another 40 years. Dr. Goff, was a nice man, but I'm glad I sought out a second opinion.

    Gouldin, Dr. Garrett A
He has an extremely soft touch and he's the utmost pleasant professional. He is extremely skilledl and I was very impressed with what he did the way he did it. He is really caring and he follows up with his patients. His services are costly, but they are in line the professional requirements and the skills of his position.

The person that we saw was called Robert, and he was very sweet. They were nice. The doctor was really nice, he knew what he was doing, about the whole process. He seemed genuinely nice, and especially when you are spending a lot of money. My sister has been using him for cleanings, and gum problems.

Dr. Pell was very nice. My mother is disabled and was unable to transfer to the dental chair. No worries. Dr. Pell examined her in her own chair.
He was very thorough as he looked for the growth, but was unable to find anything. Nothing there to biopsy. That was great news. He asked us to come back in about 3 weeks so he could make sure it wasn't one of those things that comes and goes. We will be back for this follow up.
All in all, the staff was very friendly and patient (it takes a great deal of time and effort to get my mother anywhere). They did everything in their power to accommodate her needs. I was very pleased.
