    Moving is never a fun experience, but it can be a good experience - especially if you choose the right movers! One of the best decisions we made was when we chose Silk Way to handle not one, but TWO, moving jobs in one month. First we moved from our SFH to a townhouse and then later moved my mother's furniture from her apartment to two different locations. Mike and his team were professional, friendly, hardworking and very patient. They took great care in preparing our furniture before moving and then worked non-stop to get it done. We were impressed! Silk Way is now our "Go-To" movers!

    G&J Moving and Storage
    Gave us a 9-11 window. Didn't show until noon after I called office at 11 asking where they were. Their response, "they didn't dispatch anyone yet". I don't think a single large furniture item came out unscathed. Our bar is chipped. Master bed headboard was scrapped along the truck so large scratches on left and right sides. Guest bed can't be put back together fully because they stripped a cam screw out of its holding and broke some wooden pegs. They didn't pad the walls and floors like they said they would. So we had a few chipped doorways and dinged up hallway walls. Estimated 8 hours but took 12. Moving during hot day was understandable but two of the 4 movers took breaks which should have been deducted from time. Will not use again. Have had plenty of movers before this and this is the first move coming out with so many dings and scrapes.

    The move out went smoothly. The move in, using the same crew, was horrible. A tv was damaged during the move and a wall leading to the basement was damaged and other walls were heavily scuffed. We showed the movers the damage to the tv and we were told to acknowledge the damage to the tv on a form, but not the wall. When we filed a claim with their insurance co.(CSI), it was denied stating that we opted out of full replacement damage. There is no signature on the form to show that we accepted either total replacement or waived replacement. We were told that the wall damage may have been pre-existing and there was no proof that the movers did it. We were also told that we accepted the waiver of damages so they would only pay 60 cents per pound for the tv. I highly recommend that anyone considering a move, consider using a well established firm with a solid reputation even though it may cost more. Or, consider moving your furniture yourself. In any case, I do not recommend Worth Moving to anyone.

    Great service. They picked up the units on time and the staff was very friendly. They were even able to accommodate a rush pick up. The driver called ahead and was very careful maneuvering through our yard. I will using this service on my next move.

    I'm someone who does as much research as possible before I hire for services because I demand professionalism and a fair price. Regency was referred to me from somebody I very much trust so I decided to give them a try. Bottom line: they really delivered (pardon the pun). Seriously, I could not have been happier. They kept me informed, were prompted, completely wrapped my furniture before moving it, and were super careful to avoid damaging the furniture or my house (and I had some heavy stuff and tight fits). Highly recommended...you won't be disappointed.

    Moving is stressful. No two ways about it. When the day finally arrived Matthew���s Nationwide Moving dispatched Alex, Ty, and Xavier to our home at 7:00 a.m. as scheduled. We couldn���t have asked for a better crew. They greeted us with smiles and walked through our home to plan their work. They then began systematically moving 29 years of accumulated stuff and furniture into their trailer. All furniture and pictures were carefully wrapped before being moved. The door jam through which everything exited was carefully padded to protect both the door jam and the furniture. They continually communicated with us to ensure any concerns were addressed before the fact. They verified time and again that our expectations were met. What was especially impressive was their teamwork. Any time they needed to coordinate with one another they did so precisely. They obviously worked well together and respected each other���s work. They did not take breaks! Throughout the move they were careful and caring, and not only with our stuff! They made sure that all our expectations were met, asked us to check their work to make sure they hadn���t missed anything and always made the extra effort to get the job done right. Matthew���s Nationwide Moving along with Alex, Ty, and Xavier exceeded all our expectations. They left us after a 12 hour day feeling happy and very satisfied. I cannot imagine a better experience than the one we had with this crew. Thanks again to Alex, Ty, and Xavier. You guys ROCK!

    11/3/2018 I have never really used a moving company when moving but this was a great decision. I ended up changing my moving date twice and Jay was very understanding and made it possible. Movers were great, showed up on time and did everything very efficiently. All the furniture was wrapped up and everything they disassembled they put back together. The whole move was done so quickly we actually had time to set up and unpack most of our belongings.

    My experience with G&J Moving was phenomenal, from my first interaction with the Eric, the sales rep, to the actual move of my possessions from one location to another. The first move of furniture to storage went without a hitch. The crew arrived on time and was professional, courteous, friendly, respectful and attentive to details. I identified the furniture pieces to be transported and the crew worked quickly and efficiently to get the pieces onto the truck. I was particularly impressed with the crew���s work ethic. They wasted no time in prepping my furniture for transport and were careful to ensure that all furniture was properly wrapped to prevent damage. Prior to leaving, they confirmed that all pieces to be moved were on the truck and that I was satisfied with the task completion. The second move to my new home was just as positive. Due to personal circumstances, the transport date was a moving target and Eric worked with me to arrange and rearrange dates & move locations. I appreciated his flexibility and patience with multiple changes throughout the process. On the actual move date, the crew was equally as impressive as the first time around and the actual move went incredibly smoothly and quickly. All in all, I could not be happier with my experience. The initial price quote for both moves was very competitive and there were no pricing surprises at the completion of each job. The sales staff and move crew were exceptional and delivered what they promised. I would not hesitate to use G&J again and, in fact, have already recommended them to others.

    My Guys Moving & Storage
    I really hate to give this company a negative review because at first I thought they were very good. I liked the crew chief a27000nd his packers that pre-packed our basement so much that I asked for them back again to move our stuff into temporary storage and then again for the permanent interstate move 6 months later. But ultimately, my last experience with them left a very bad taste in my mouth as I felt overcharged and the company reps non-responsive. There were other issues as well. To begin, for the final move I was quoted 9655 (for actual weight) and the final cost was 11805, 22% higher. Unfortunately, our estimate had somehow gotten packed away and so I couldn't question it at the time of unloading. Once I found it 2 months later, I attempted to find out why the final price was so much higher. I first called the interstate coordinator, Michele, who said that my paper work had to be retrieved from storage and she would get back to me. She didn't and I continually had to call back. She eventually said it had to do with increased tariff fees. Unable to answer further questions about this she referred me to Terry, the original estimator. Communicating with Terry was difficult with my constantly having to leave messages and when reached, him promising to research the problem or get info and call back but rarely doing so. At the original estimate he had assured me that all fees were included, including any origin/destination charges that might be incurred and that there wouldn't be any surprises. However, on the final bill there was an additional charge of 1225 for an origin/destination fee. When I was able to talk with him he seemed surprised, concerned and puzzled by why his estimate was so much lower and why that additional charge was listed and said he would investigate. He ultimately said he would seek clarification from the owner and get back to me. After weeks had gone by I finally was able to reach him. He explained that his understanding was that since our move was delayed three months due to building delays, in the interim the tariff fees had increased. However, at no time was I informed that this might happen and then was never informed when it did happen. This is especially galling as I was paying the company 1300 a month in storage fees for those extra months and overall they were making a lot of money off of me. Terry seemed sympathetic and said he'd see what could be done but never contacted me again. Other issues were the company not supplying the proper manpower, resulting in 16 hour moves both into storage and on move-in day. It also wasn't apparent until we slowly unpacked, that one of the packers threw a lot of random unwrapped stuff, including electronic equipment, into large wardrobe boxes. We also received a box that wasn't ours and asked what to do but got no answer. Overall, I would recommend not using this company. If you do, do not believe their estimate!!
