    It went perfectly. I supplied them a really filthy, worn-out sofa, along with 10 yards of Ultrasuede fabric. They returned to us an amazing, better-than-new sofa. The workmanship was absolutely amazing. Couldn't be happier with the results.

    Nicely Done Kitchens & Baths
    Overall the project went very well. Designer was very professional and worked well with us on ideas / changes that we wanted to see. Project coordinator and subcontractor were also very professional and two primary individuals handling day-to-day work were very good and proactive in communicating any issues they encountered. Appliance supplier recommended by NDK wasn't as reliable as planned with refrigerator back-ordered (found out a matter of days before delivery) and then dishwasher potentially back-ordered, but replaced by a next level unit they had on hand. Cabinet supplier also missed two components in their initial shipment, but was able to get them fabricated so as not to impact the overall schedule. Project actually finished a few days ahead of schedule and only 2 change orders were incurred. While certainly not the low bid, quality and professionalism were excellent which offset most, if not all, of the higher cost. Finished product looks excellent, so our choice to use them appears to be well justified.

    They picked up the bookcase from my home on August 18th and collected $500 (half the payment) and told me they would get started on the stripping/refinishing in a week or so. It is now November, and I still have not been given a time to see the stripped piece to choose a stain color. Additionally, their business number appears to disconnected as well as their website. If I can't get this resolved soon, I will have to take legal action. Stay away from this business.

    Outstanding. The finished product was beyond WOW! It is unbelievable, we could not have imagined the final outcome. Anyone and everyone who has seen the house have nothing but accolades and ask for the contractors name. We must say that above all Michael Nash Design Build & Home were with us throughout the project. I must add that they truly live there modo "no problem," meaning they will ensure you are completely satisfied.

    It went great! We just could not be happier with the work that Anna and her colleagues did at Chrystal Interiors & Upholstery. I talked to 7 upholstery companies and Anna was without question the most responsive. I sent her an e-mail with photos and told her what we had in mind, and she got back to me THE SAME DAY which was VERY different from the other companies. Her price was very reasonable (much less than the other quotes we got), and she made the whole process very easy. And, equally amazing, she had the two chairs done in less than 2 weeks and the quality of her work just could not be better. The chairs look brand new. We would use her again in a second and have already recommended her to all of our friends. Just a real pleasure to work with in all respects. I'll include 3 photos of a finished chair.

    The sales by Mike were professional and knowledgeable. That's where the professionalism stopped however unfortunately for me. I asked that the Saturday, Jan 13 delivery have me early as I had appointments later in the day. The delivery time was scheduled from 4 - 8pm instead, so I had to cancel my 7:00 pm appointment. At 7:29 pm I received a phone call from Carlos (delivery) saying they were 'running behind schedule' and had another job in Centreville so my delivery would have to be rescheduled, REALLY. I didn't cuss/swear at Carlos, but I told him I didn't appreciate at all, a phone call with only 30 minutes left in the 4 hour window telling me that the delivery would have to be rescheduled and I had cancelled an appointment I had for no good reason. I called Mike at the store on Monday (he didn't work on Sunday) and informed him. Said this was the first he heard of the mistake and would call me back in an hour. He did and my appliances would be scheduled for next Saturday with the request for first delivery. I had this because of an early afternoon appointment I had. So the Friday before, I get the recording that my delivery on Sat, 20 Jan will be between 10:30 am - 2:30 pm. Again, not what I requested as there was nothing about being first delivery. At 10:45 with no one showing up and no call to indicate the delivery was late (as I was supposed to be the first delivery), I drove to the Fairfax office and cancelled my order. The Bray and Scarff rep was polite but informed me that "your appliances have been loaded on the truck". Well, i said, they were not supposed to be on the truck, but should have been at my home being installed. So I asked for my credit card to be refunded. The B&S said he couldn't do that until the appliances were 'back in the warehouse'. I said "REALLY" and he said yes, that was the policy. I was supposed to have an email sent to me the next day, but didn't receive any email. So, at this point NOT TRUSTING B&C at all, I called my insurance, USAA and put a 'contested' on the charge. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING SAID ABOUT THE B&S Delivery. Totally unsatisfactory

    This is a second review of Glebe Appliances. I am as pleased with my second experience with them as I was with the first. They sold me a gas dryer at a competitive price and it was easy to schedule the installation. The installers showed up on time after notifying me in advance when they were coming, installed the new dryer and hauled the old one away. Everyone involved, Dabney - the owner, Robert and Mary Kraft, and Robert's assistant were pleasant, capable and professional. If I need appliance services again, Glebe will be my first call. I wish other companies treated customers as well as they do.

    Johnson's Piano Moving
    I read a lot of good reviews on this company, that is why I choose them. But I am really disappointed for two reasons: 1. they forget to get caster cup. After a few minutes, I called them to come back to get the caster cup since I don't want piano to hurt my wood floor in another house, they said it is too far. The lesson is that please remember by yourselves that let them take caster cup, otherwise they will ignore it. 2. When they come into your house, they will strongly imply that they need the tips even though the piano hasn't been moved to another house. Again, this happened to me, but they have a lot of good reviews and so make your own decision.

    Classic Furniture Repairing
    Called for an estimate and he came out the next morning. I called later that day agreeing to his price and he actually came back that same day to take the piece which was great because I was having the room painted. Was called to come choose a stain color in the time frame given (I think it was about a month) and then piece was delivered about a week or so later (needed good drying weather so it was maybe an extra day or so). Excellent job refinishing and repairing a dog-chewed leg.
