    Our Estate Sale conducted by Doneen with Estate Professional Services went well. Doneen provided some relief to us in an extremely high stress time. She did what she outlined and promised. Before the sale, she was focused on us, answered all our questions and addressed our concerns. During the sale, she was focused on accomplishing what she promised. She succeeded!     The sale ran over 2.5 days and brought in very close to the estimated value amount. She and her team were very efficient in helping us prep; they also drove a lot of traffic to the event from social media. There were a few things left, which we chose to handle ourselves. People who attended had very positive comments on the event (we chose not to be in attendance). Since our sale experience, I've referred this company to several real estate sellers looking to down-size. I've heard positive feedback from others.

    Everything in the store is beautiful and high quality, but can be expensive so wait for the sales.  We were able to customize the fabric and legs on the sofa.  The coffee tables are beautiful, solid wood.  The floor representatives were helpful and courteous.  The furniture was delivered on time and the delivery people were very polite and careful bringing in the pieces.  We will purchase from them again.

    Candid, professional initial meeting to discuss and agree on contract. Lengthy review and photo shoot of all furniture, clothing, household goods (smalls) to be sold. Posted numerous photos in appealing way to website and numerous linked sales and auction sites in advance to drive attendance. Lengthy staging session to price and arrange all items a few days before the sale started. Totally professional operation of sales time for three weekend days, including control and monitoring of visitors. Professional and timely move out of remainder of furniture, clothing and smalls that did not sell to showroom for consignment sale, and charity. Regular, clear communications. Prompt follow up and wrap up with sales records and payment of proceeds. All went well. Sale was successful, although late August weekend may have reduced buyers, but that timing could not be altered. LOTS of traffic through the house indicated very successful effort to drive attention and attendance through the various web sites to which EstateMax posts.. The staging for the sale was great, attractive and appealing, and the team changed staging appearance as weekend continued. Would retain the team again. Laurie and Steve, and others from EstateMax were a pleasure to work with and thoroughly professional in their approach to this service and performing.

    Horrible. Ordered 3 pieces of bedroom furniture. Requested that a single item be returned. The dresser was never used and was in my home less than 7 days. The company picked up the furniture (charging me 79 for the return) and said I would have to pay a re-stocking fee of 25 percent. So basically, I paid $599 and was given a store credit of $389. When I attempted to use store credit they said that it was only good for 30 days. I personally drove back to the store to request my money back. The store manager said she had no say as to whether I would get the refund.  I continued to get a run around.  
    The store ended up reselling the piece of brand new furniture I sent back, while charging me the full price.
    After a week of what appeared to be endless phone calls, I received a refund to credit card of $389.
    Belfort is the worst furniture store in the WDC area

    We have purchased several items from Bare Woods over the last 12 years and have been very satisfied with the quality of the furniture. It is beautifully made and can last a lifetime if cared for properly. We had the option of having the furniture stained in the color of our choice, or staining the furniture ourselves; we have done both. They also offer pick-up or delivery, and we have done both as well. Due to the craftsmanship involved, there is a longer turnaround time, and their prices are higher than others, but we have not regretted one purchase. The staff is kind and knowledgable and works with you to satisfy your needs. Since lead time is usually several weeks, we do recommend contacting them as the pick-up or delivery date approaches so you are aware of any delays.

    We have purchased many items from this location over the last 7 years and our experiences have been excellent. We have dealt with several salespeople and all have been kind, attentive and knowledgable. We have had problems with two items purchased and for one issue, received a repair kit in the mail and a follow up call from a representative within three days, and on a second issue had the delivery team return to our home, pick up the piece of furniture, exchange it and return the new piece within one week. The sales staff values their customers without being pushy or overbearing. The furniture is appropriately matched to its sales price.

    We purchased a sofa and loveseat online and chose to have these items delivered to us. We were able to schedule delivery within a couple days of purchase. We were reminded of our appointment the day before and had a 3 hour window for delivery. The delivery people came right at the beginning of the delivery window and moved everything in with care. The sofa and loveseat are great quality and we are pleased with our Belfort experience overall.

    We purchased a patio set and were quoted a delivery time of 3 to 4 weeks by the store manager. We chose the fabric on display because we were told that ordering custom fabric would cause a delay in delivery. We payed 50% of the balance up front. After four weeks we called the store, and were told by a sales representative that the furniture should arrive at the warehouse and quot;anytimeand quot;. We called a week later, and were told that there was a problem with the fabric order, resulting in further delay. After 7 weeks we called the head office and scheduled delivery ourselves. One day before the scheduled delivery, the store manager called our home, said he noticed we were on the schedule for delivery, and requested final payment, indicating he needed to have the final payment or delivery would be canceled. The store manager was friendly and professional at the time of the sale, but conflicting stories, continued delays, and the fact that we had to bypass the store to schedule delivery indicate to us a lack of commitment to providing quality customer service. We will not shop at this store again.

    If you are savvy enough to be reading these reviews prior to purchasing
    at Dinettes and Stools, I congratulate you.  I only wish we had been. 
    Stay FAR, FAR away from this store!!!  Our experience:  We walked into
    this very large store on 12/31/ 2012, were greeted with a  lot of
    inventory and a pretty knowledgeable sales person (Alan).  We picked out
    a very nice bar stool and placed an order with a  $750 deposit (50%,
    thankfully by credit card!). We were told they would arrive in 6-8
    weeks, perhaps a bit longer.  since we were ordering a special material
    for the seat.  Knowing this could add some additional time, I was
    honestly expecting about a 10 week delivery.  At week 10 we had not
    heard a word, so I called and inquired.  Andrew, the owner, stated he
    would call the manufacturer to check on the status.  A few days later I
    had not heard back from Andrew, so I called again.  Andrew told me he
    was still waiting to hear from them...I asked if he could please call
    me, so I would know he was following up.  No call.  I waited another
    week, and called again.  I was told by Andrew that the mfr. told him it
    would be "about" another week.  No excuse for why he hadn't called me
    back, no apology, just a complete lack of anything resembling good
    customer service. Although by this point I was pretty appalled at his
    apathy,  I just wanted the stools, and so I just let it go.  Another
    week goes by (week 12) husband and I stop in to the store to see
    him. His complete disinterest was now VERY apparent.  He simply stated
    he would call the manufacturer again....we waited two days, heard
    nothing from him, and at this point  my husband stopped in (again) to
    the store to ask for a refund, telling him that if/when the stools came,
    we would be happy to inspect them and pay the full amount.  Andrew got
    extremely agitated, assured my husband there would be NO refund, and
    told him to leave before he called the police!!  My husband left camly,
    and called the manufacturer the very next morning.  Turns out after
    waiting over 14 weeks for our stools, the manufacturer (a reputable
    company that has been in business since 1964), explains to us that the
    order was never placed!  So, essentially I floated Dinettes and Stools a
    $750 loan for over (3) months at 0% interest.  Shocking!!!   It was out
    and out FRAUD. 
    I finally went back in to the store today,
    confronted them with what I knew, and they just gave me our refund. 
    Unfortunately, I had not read the numerous online reviews (Yelp, Google,
    etc) prior to placing our order, but they basically tell of the same
    pathetic experience by multiple customers.  Andrew is rude to his
    customers, has no interest in providing customer service, and now, quite
    frankly, I find out he deals in FRAUD.  He also has (13) complaints
    filed against him with the Better Business Bureau, and his rating  with
    them is an "F".  I too have filed a complaint with the BBB.   I simply
    cannot understand how the doors to this store can still be open after
    all I have heard.  I intend to tell anyone--and everyone-- I know NEVER
    to step foot into this establishment.  Luckily my deposit was made on a
    credit card, because I am quite certain that if I had written a personal
    check, I would never have gotten my money back, and I would now be
    filing a claim in small claims court instead of writing this review.
