    Pond Roofing Co Inc
I was impressed with the detail of the inspection of the roof and attic before an estimate was given. They actually went up on the roof which mattered because some underlayment had to be replaced. There was a problem with the size of my skylights, which they were eager to work through. I had a continuing leak, which turned out to be from the siding installation and some missed caulking ( a different company) which they found for me and fixed anyway. I am very please with the end product!

    Ryan Reph Remodeling Inc
Ryan Reph Remodeling has completed three major projects for me in the last three years. The first project involved the installation of a new oversize walk-in basement shower and renovation of the adjacent basement laundry room. I was so pleased with the quality of the work, the following year I hired them to renovate the master bathroom, original to 1958 when the house was built. A complete tear-out was required and new everything was installed inside and outside the bathroom walls. Even though I selected moderately priced materials, the end product was stunning. I recently moved into another older house and they are almost finished with two projects there. One involved the construction of a main level laundry/mud room with an entrance from the garage into the house and the other was the installation of a wet bar/kitchenette in the basement rec room. Like the previous projects, the end result of these two projects is amazing. Within the next year or two I am hoping to renovate the basement bathroom in the new house and Ryan will, without doubt, be my contractor for that project as well. Before my first experience with Ryan, I had never hired a commercial contractor to do any work for me. I was fortunate to have a Dad who could do anything and do it beautifully. He and I were able to tackle all of my various home improvement projects. When I lost my Dad my home improvement projects were limited to various painting projects and small focused speciality projects (floor refinishing, replacement windows). I had heard horror stories from family and friends about working with contractors and simply didnt want to get involved in a major project where I had to rely on someone I didnt know. But the time came when I needed access to an ADA accessible shower so I turned to one of the online contractor referral services and found Ryan Reph Remodeling (RRR). I reached out to RRR and they contacted me almost immediately. Selwa came to my home, reviewed the scope of work and provided an estimate. Ryan followed up to walk through the project with me. I felt the estimate was fair, I was very comfortable with Selwa and Ryan, and after contacting the references they provided I signed a contract to have the work done. (Yes, RRR was the only contractor I contacted!). They have now done 3 projects for me and I cant imagine working with anyone else. I have worked with two of Ryans crews. Both crews were very professional skilled, knowledgeable and talented. Every worker Ryan has sent into my home has been polite, friendly and helpful. They show a great deal of respect for my home and use drop cloths, dust barriers and floor protectors while they work. At the end of each workday they clean up, put their tools and materials away and leave the house as livable as practical during a major construction project. Ryan gets all required permits in his name, his crew members are onsite to meet with the county building inspectors when they conduct the required inspections, and every inspection has passed on the first try. Selwa is a talented designer and she has developed contacts with a variety of suppliers who provide thoughtful help with material selections. Ryan and Selwa are both easy to work with and communication with them throughout the project is very efficient. I feel very fortunate that I found Ryan Reph Remodeling and I look forward to working with them on future home improvement projects. The attached pictures are a "before" and "after" of the master bath remodel.

    R M Banning Roofing
The finished roofing job looks excellent, and there were no waste materials left around the house. RM Banning recommended a few additional services during the estimate, such as re-roofing a stairway shelter to match the main roof, and that gave me a complete job that will save me years of worry. Mr. Banning personally came to the house for the estimate. His price was in line with others, but was actually lower when considering the materials and extra work they did. I did not feel pressured in any way to accept his proposal. He cited higher quality materials than I anticipated, especially on the shingles and underlayment. In the end, the crew did the job on schedule and completed it ontime. Overall, I was very pleased with the roofing job and would highly recommend RM Banning.

    Helping Hands Handyman Services LLC
Great experience. They were responsive when getting the quote and scheduling time was very reasonable. They called ahead of arrival and were punctual. I needed cabinets taken down and new ones installed. I also need a ceiling fan adjusted. They worked very efficiently and were professional the entire time. They made a few recommendations based on the situation presented and that I had not anticipated, but the recommendations made for a better final result. Pricing was better than many other quotes I received. I would definitely hire them again.

    Irish Accents & Renovations
Val and his crew has renewed my faith in VB contractors! I have gotten totally screwed two consecutive times in the past 2 years and was reluctant to try a third time but I mean I had to lol soo... A big rain storm came thru and ate away at some of the brickwork at my rental property and we thought it was going to be something small, a quick fix. Much to our surprise when the dry wall came off it was covered in mold and the wall framework so super soft and spongy, apparently I bought a house that the previous ppl just covered up crap. #badnewsbears. The original estimate was appropriately adjusted and was honestly less than I was expecting. I live in DC and work so cant just drop and go so we agreed on an initial face to face to deliver the deposit check and work started soon after. Even with the additional work required he finished almost within the original time frame and I was impressed. He was SUPER communicative, which is what bit me with the previous ppl, so this is a HUGE plus for me, being out of the area and all. He sent photos every step of the way and daily updates via text and email. My tenant was super impressed to she was V E R Y reluctant to let someone unsupervised in the house, and rightfully so, but towards the end she would just leave work or have someone let him in and he would lock up behind him. Her overall approval just added to mine and I plan on using him for EVERYTHING I have planned. I am sooooo glad I found him!!! An added plus his Irish accent just makes bad news sound so much better lol but all joking aside; if you are looking for a trustworthy, communicative, fairly priced, and overall awesome contractor then look no further!!!

    Moss Building & Design
It's no wonder they have so many reviews--clear evidence that they're doing something right. They are communicative in every sense--responsive, clear, professional, detailed, honest. They definitely break the stereotypes of unreliable and/or dishonest contractors. I felt fairly treated from beginning to end. Plan to hire their services again.

    Williams Painting And Remodeling
We thought William's guys did a fantastic job. We had one delay in our start date, but other than that our work took 5 days and they did a super job. Came around 7:30 am every day. They prepped the areas well, protected furniture well, cleaned up well, and had good attention to detail. Impressive drywall repair, great painting, reasonable pricing. I think it's worth a note that the address and phone for William have changed from what Angie's list shows for Williams Painting & Remodeling. William's current letterhead shows 9300 Paul Dr., Manassas Park, VA 20111 and his cell is 240-476-1963. Email is He sent us a detailed proposal after coming to estimate our job (we actually had several jobs-- adding crown molding throughout the main floor (looks amazing), fairly extensive drywall repair due to electrical work that left numerous trenches and holes, and and entire floor of wall & ceiling painting with a lot of trim, banisters, spindles plus 8 doors, a basement stairwell, and a two story stairwell including the top hall area and hall closet.

Michael Nash Design Build & Homes
Dont know which we love more. The totally remodeled master bath is beyond what we ever hoped for. The kitchen is so beautiful (and enjoyable to cook in) that I sometimes just walk through it to oogle at the finished product. The project was done in 2017. We did our contractor homework before signing a contract for remodel. We learned in the research process that not all contractors provide the same complete package that was offered by Michael Nash. Sonny personally came to our home to discuss the project and view the rooms that were to be remodeled. He listened to our ideas and used his vast experience and education in the business to offer us some design trend ideas we had not even thought of before personally presenting us with an architectural plan. His design team then came again to measure and make sure we were all on the same page before work started. The selection process for materials was an important part of the package. The design team patiently walked us through the selection process using the samples and room recreations in their extensive showroom. (I am a touch/feel kind of person and this showroom allowed me to compare many materials and completed design projects.) During the build phase of our projects, Michael Nash provided employees that were expertly skilled in their areas of work. Our master bath team of craftsmen were committed to excellence in their work. They consulted with us along the way and expertly worked to turn the design into a glamorous product. The craftsman that did the tile work was a MASTER of the trade. The primary onsite employee for the kitchen make over (Cordova) was an old world quality craftsman who cared so much about detail and our happiness with the product that he and his team were a pleasure to work with. He worked with us patiently on all the details involved. Michael Nash provided what was represented: an excellent quality product for both master bathroom and kitchen, very professional employees (not subcontractors) and a feel of luxury while staying within the budget.

    R M Banning Roofing
We needed some repairs to part of a an exterior wall in our garage that had been destroyed by wood boring bees and then some small siding repairs. Water was coming down the wall as a result of the damage. It was challenging to find anyone willing to take on a small job. Banning was one of the few (so guess who we'll be calling when we need a big job). We were happy with the work. They were prompt and professional. Not too exciting to talk about replacing some siding and plywood and making it waterproof. It was done a few years back and it's held up well.
