VM Drainage & Erosion Solution LLC
Adrian came out to give us an estimate for installing French drains and improving our yard drainage. He came up with some good ideas for collecting and diverting water from the end of our swale. The price he quoted was very reasonable for the services offered. We did not have them do the work because the scope and timing of our project changed. Will call them for future work.

    Exterior Waterproofing Experts
Excellent start to finish. Dave was responsive, punctual, thorough and informative in his review of the problem and recommended solution. We felt the timeline and price were both reasonable--we could not be more satisfied with the entire experience and feel confident that our wet basement problem is finally resolved and that if we experience any problems, Dave and his crew will be just as responsive. Couldn't recommend more highly!

    Comfenergy, LLC
Our energy consultant, Matt Pascual, gave us a clear explanation of the work Comfenergy would do, but he was also accommodating to the few changes we requested. He followed up by giving us his cell phone number and the two times we called him, he answered immediately and attentively addressed our questions. His professionalism influenced our selection of Comfenergy over the other 3 companies that also came out to our house to explain and estimate the job. We were given a work start date and our work crew, headed by Ruben Samper, was there promptly on that date and promptly each of the following days. Ruben was trustworthy, easy to work with, and very responsive to any concerns that we had. He seemed to have an excellent working relationship with his crew and they all worked cleanly and efficiently. The whole job was completed in 4 days.

    Value Dry Waterproofing
Overall, services were performed well. The engineer sold us on the sump pump with their company versus other pump/drain types and versus excavation based on their quality and warranty. The main issue we had was responsiveness. After the pump install, I was informed the discharge pipe would be installed that saturday. They didn't show up and ended up completing the job 2 weeks after the pump install. The drywall re-install was completed ~ 1 week after pump install. However, it seems the general install quality was good. We shall see what happens when we have another downpour! Another issue we're running into is that we now need another contractor to reinstall the carpet, prep/paint the walls, and restain the baseboards. This isn't an issue with Value Dry; it's the expensiveness of fixing up everything to make it look the way it did before. I think prospective customers should understand there is a lot of work that needs to be done after Value Dry completes their job to make the rooms look like they originally did.

    Value Dry Waterproofing
ESTIMATE: 9/4/18 WORK COMPLETED: Late November,2018 The bottom line, I would use these people again, not because they were perfect but because they were responsive to their miscues and were willing to correct them expeditiously. Scheduling: it took several months to get the company to come to do the work, I think because they aggressively promote themselves but lack sufficient crews to do the work. Performance: once on-site, the crews were as neat as possible, careful and complete, jackhammering interior concrete floor to install a drain system mostly without disturbing ceramic tile surrounding the project. When a city inspector would not clear the interior project, the company sent another more experienced person to re-dig the trenches and re-do the drain work to meet the city's concerns. And after the interior drain and sump pump was in place and a small amount of liquid appeared on the concrete work, the company again sent a senior staff person to diagnose. On the exterior part of the project, their crews were mostly careful and thorough, although we did lose some shrubbery at the excavation site. Again, their more senior workers were luckily on-site to do most of the work, some of which was difficult. One problem: by contract, the company will not "tamper" when replacing the soil, and while I personally tried to do that myself, over the ensuing few months the excavation site has settled and created a ditch to a point that will now require that I bring in additional soil to level the dirt and slope it away from the house. One caveat: the company does not repair interior walls that much be displaced by their waterproofing system, and so another contractor is necessary if you are unable to make these repairs yourself.

Deska Foundation Repair and Basement Waterproofing
We had an engineering inspection performed and they determined we should seal the cracks with epoxy and install a drain and pump. They gave me a lifetime warranty on the repairs and the drain system so I am happy as can be!

    Best Buy Waterproofing, LLC
It went great. I called them at 7:00 pm, they called me right back. He was here the next day at 10:00 am. He was very thorough and explained the process to me. I had a lot of questions and he took the time to answer and was very patient. I feel they saved us a lot of time and money because we didn't have to excavate. If you believe you have a foundation problem, Best Buy Waterproofing is the company to call.

AMC911 Foundation & Waterproofing Repair Systems
It went well from start to finish. Which is rare these days. Sales rep showed up on time, the company emailed us his profile before he came, which was great as it allowed me to know who was coming to my house, he arrived on time and was very professional. The pricing was comparable to others we had received but we chose them based on reviews and reputation. We liked his presentation style and he was not pushy but very detailed and patient with us. The workers were very thorough and polite. Job was done on time and we've had no issues, the site was left clean after done. 3/8/17

    Basement Detective
Of the contractors we've had to deal with as part of owning a house, Basement Detective ranks in the top three. Roland provided our estimate, and we were impressed by his depth of knowledge and by his candor. He suggested we get price estimates from other companies for the drywall before going with their service. We did that, and it turned out the price was not much different. We decided it would be more convenient to have one company supervising the whole project, and we were absolutely right. Throughout the work, a quick call or email to Roland got immediate answers. There were some of the usual hiccups with getting inspectors & subcontractors in, but it was all handled quickly by the Basement Detective staff. The work crews were friendly, hard-working, and willing to answer any questions that came up. The sump pump crew hung up plastic sheets and put down canvas to protect the floor. Surprisingly little dust carried into the upstairs. The drywall crew was also careful, and we did not have any trouble with clean-up. By the time everything was done, you'd never know the whole rec room had been torn up. They even laid the carpet back out, which was nice while we waiting for our new carpet to arrive. Basement Detective was a little more expensive than some other estimates we received, but we considered it well worth it for the quality of work, and the convenience of having one company in charge of the entire project instead of our trying to coordinate different subcontractors.

    Drainage and Erosion Solutions
They were punctual, professional. Explained everything in what I wanted to do, But like I said I just haven't acted on it yet. Um again, I don't have anything to compare with they're price, Concerned that they're moving, you know again sure Id liked to pay less. They're moving a lot of dirt. The procedures they talked about made since to me. I done some internet research about the kind of materials they were using and how they compare with others. Oh they were very responsive. They were prompt, they came when they said they were, on the agreed upon time. I would talk to them in the future. Again I can't judge they're work because they haven't done anything.
