  • The manager Buddy Afferson is very skilled at finding parts for my antique vehicles through his network of resources. If he is unable to locate a part he always can refer you to someone who can. He always does an excellent job. I will recommend and continue to use their service.

  • When I picked up my car the new remote could not be found. I returned and they gave the wrong remote but I didn't notice it until the following day. Remember I still had a functioning remote. When I returned with the wrong remote, which didn't work, I was told that they could not return it because it was the wrong remote. Apparently their accounting system would not let them do a return unless a manager approved it. No manager was around. After speaking with the manager I was permitted to return again, number 4, to return the incorrect remote and get the correct remote programmed.

  • Totally professional service for all the vehicles in my family. Turnpike Auto Service under Mike Hong epitomizes trust in the Turnpike team and the services they provide. Like the trusted family doctor of days past (when they still did house calls), Mike patiently explains in understandable terms the work to be done and why it is necessary.  He draws on the detailed records he keeps of the vehicle he services. His advice is first rate.

  • Reported they had tightened a loose part. Started OK at their facility, but problem reappeared within a few days. Note - They had advised that they might have to do more extensive work if tightening the part they found did not solve the problem.

  • I have been going to Fairfax Auto for a few years now. They are always very professional and responsive. And they do not push you for additional repairs like their competitors. They just give you the facts. I have used the great deal they offer on Angies List for the Oil Change. But the last two visits have brought on the added fee for shop expenses...approx $8.00. This was a total suprize and unexpected. It is not listed anywhere on the Coupon or in Angies List 'fine print'. I pointed this out during both visits and did not pay the extra fee. I think most people will gladly pay the extra fee, as the coupon is still a great deal, BUT the owner needs to work with the Angies List representative to get their coupon adjusted. I really like these guys...but they need to get the coupons updated...and should honor theses that have already been bought.

  • We've been with them for 10 years, so we obviously like them. I told them, until they stop trying to up-sell me I'm not giving anything above an average on their service. They need to stop up-selling the women, because they don't up-sell my husband. They only up-sell me. I told them for five years that I'm going to tell everyone the story until they stop doing it. They haven't stop doing it yet.

  • The first thing that comes to mind is honesty. I don't know about your personal experience but my personal experience is, I always worry about the honesty of car repairmen and dentists. I want to be able to trust them and over the years I've developed a strong level of trust with this group. You can trust these guys.

  • Seems to be good. I don't know how to characterize that. That person. I don't want to mix it up. One representative was very professional. Very good. No problems with. One encounter, the representative said my tires were worn down. That's when my car had five thousands miles, and that was impossible. It was a standard fix. Be smart about it. Its not that logical. The tires aren't balance.  I didn't see anything. I would ask for a different representative.

  • Their customer service is poor. They messed up the appointment, and I wasn't satisfied. They sent an email saying to make sure it was the highest rating, if not, tell us the reason, and we will try to fix it, and I explained the reason, that I'm not able to give you the highest rating, and then I never heard from them again. They didn't send any surveys. anything like that. Just customer not give you a response. I wasn't impressive with that. The sales department was good,  not the service department. What they do is ok.

  • It cost me a lot. I bought a new car from them that had a problem and they totally wouldn't make it good. They were rude to me, they were difficult to get along with. I finally had to go to a lawyer, to get the situation resolved. My money was returned to me in full. I filed a Lemon Law charge on them, but they didn't want it to go to court, so they resolved it by giving me my money back and taking the car back. It was a terrible experience. They were rude. When I called the lawyer the first time, I was very upset and I was very frightened, frankly. The guy had been screaming at me, he was just downright rude, that is when I called for help. This attorney was listening to me and she must have thought I was an idiot. She finally said, "Well, let me call them. Give me the number and I'll call right now and see what we can do here." She called me back about 15 minutes later and she said, "Wow, he yelled at me." It was a very bad experience. I will never use them again, ever. At the time I paid for the car, I thought it was a fair price. I didn't think I got a great deal, but I thought it was fair. The person that I dealt with back then was nice to deal with. That wasn't the problem, the problem was the service that I got on it. It was the service and the service people, it was terrible. There definitely was something wrong with the car. They did not deny it, they just did not fix it. I just felt that they should have taken the car back and corrected it, but they didn't. They would tell me, "We're trying to find a fix for it." That was their mantra, "We don't have a fix for it," and I would say, "But, I can't drive this car, it's not safe. I can't drive this car."
