Pet Care & Health reviews in Earlysville

My car is high strung and very stressed by vet visits. For the first time, the professional, caring, and friendly staff at Earlysville Animal Hospital made this vet visit a calm and pleasant experience for my cat. They are truly a "cat friendly" veterinarian service.

She seemed to test normal or near normal on everything. So we didn't quite track it down. Just before she died, she went into a seizure. I figured she had a stroke and I had to have her put down, because she couldn't walk on her own. So what ever was wrong with her, they were unable to diagnose. Their price varies with the service. I have gone there for a number of years. The cat costs varies with the service. I have had diagnostic tests that have to be sent away for analysis and that costs quite a bit. I also had tooth cleaning done for her and it was around $600.00. They are nearby, and they seem to know what they are doing, but no one is perfect. You can't always assure you are going to get the diagnosis. I think they did what they could. I wasn't dissatisfied with their service. I would give them an A because I would use them again when I get another pet. I think they know what they are doing. For price, I have no way of comparing them to other vets, because I haven't used other vets. They are very high quality. They seem to care about animals. They seem to be trying to do their best. The vet interacted with my pet very well. I kept going back to them because of the quality of service and they are close by. I think the best thing about them is their willingness to discuss things at length, and to discuss why they are doing things, why they think things should be done, so I think they are very respectful of their customers and their animal clients.

This company, Care.com, uses deceptive and fraudulent advertising and online tactics in order to gain access to your credit card information, which they then use to continue to charge you illegally. Even thought you choose their One-Month Premium Membership (which was all I needed); they then had my credit card number and continued to charge me until I recently discovered what they were doing. The sent me no receipts, no emails - nothing! to let me know this was going on. It was a Bait-and-Switch marketing technique and this company should be ashamed to represent themselves as "care.com" because they don't!
When I complained loudly enough, I was finally refunded half of what the company stole from me. I'm still working on getting the remainder back.
If you want more details about how this company operates, just type this into Google: Parents Sue Care.com for the death of their child" or "Complaints, care.com" and you'll see exactly how little responsibility they take for what they offer, and for their predatory sales techniques.
Trust a child with these people? Or anything else? I don't think so.

Ray and Lisa and excellent providers of pet and house sitting services. You could not ask for more caring, thoughtful and professional pet sitters. They are a pleasure to know, and our pets adore them. They keep you aware of any issues, and keep an eye out for your pets and home so you know everything is secure. They have gone well above and beyond the average service provider - they even helped save one of my neighbors when she broke her leg in front of my house! Highest recommendations!

Love this kennel! We wound up here when our regular kennel was booked over a holiday. And I'm so glad we did! It's a bit of a drive for those of us not on the north end of town, but it's worth it. The staff was kind, they have an option to walk the dogs in the woods and not just on concrete, the runs are larger than most. When I dropped off my dog, they asked me questions about her likes/dislikes, and gave me a phone number so I could call and check up on her if I'd like (I've used a number of kennels -- I've never had someone offer this before). When I picked her up, they had specific things to say about her -- it was clear that the same staff had worked with her each day she was there.
Great service, nice people, clean facility, beautiful location -- We'll go back.

Excellent! This vet clinic is the best around. All of the doctors are outstanding! They truly care about your pets and will take the time to make sure the owner understands and investigate all options for your pet. The follow up calls from the vets have been excellent and I am proud to be one of their loyal customers.

When she got sick, they fit her in urgently, gave her SQ fluids, and saw her everyday until she recovered. They were very kind to her and provided the supportive care she needed. When I take her there to be boarded, she doesn't mind going there and always seems happy when I pick her up. I made the mistake of boarding her elsewhere one time. She returned quite traumatized, and it took several days for her to recover. Not sure what happened, but I'm happy that I found the Cat Care Clinic. Over Christmas 2011, we didn't think to try to make reservations before the beginning of Dec for boarding over the holidays. Unfortunately they didn't have any vacancies, but we were thrilled that they called us when someone else cancelled.
