Hvac Repair reviews in Earlysville

David Brown and team did a great job with estimating, installation and making sure everything was working properly. The units are very quiet and make the house much more comfortable. I have been very happy with the Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat even the cold 10 degree January/February 2018 winter. The 2nd story was much more comfortable this summer with the Mitsubishi units.

Road Runner is a great company, doing what we agreed to at a very reasonable cost. Dave, the Operation Manager conducted the service call due to the high volume of service calls. He was very helpful and assisted us in setting up a service contract at a very reasonable price. This is the second time we have used Road Runner and we are very pleased.

Nathan arrived on time, was very polite and explained what he was doing at every step. He advised on potential problems in the future and also replaced a capacitator which was failing. I found Nathan to be experienced, trustworthy and honest. I will use this company again

Three technicians performed the service. They arrived on time, were friendly and polite and provided reports on each system when finished. There was one repair that was outside the maintenance contract and they provided a quote and requested permission before proceeding.

Yowell determined my AC was low on refrigerant from an apparent leak.  He checked for obvious leaks and found nothing.  He said it was probably a small leak somewhere.  He recommended we add refrigerant and a $80 can of sealant to make sure we solved the problem.  Exactly two weeks later the system displayed the same previous symptoms, low on refrigerant.  It wouldn't cool the house.  I called him, got his voicemail and asked he come back and make this right.  He didn't return my call for about a week and then said he had strained his back but would be back to me soon.  He never called again and never corrected this situation.  He left me hanging after spending $617 and getting only a 2 week fix.  That was 2 1/2 months ago.  He didn't stand by his work.

I've since given up and figure the $617 was flushed for nothing.  I'm now using another provider.

Great!  We were very pleased.  The problem was diagnosed on May 15.  The next week we were contacted for someone to come and assess what needed to be done.  The new system was designed and a proposal given to us by early in the week of of May 25.  The system was ordered once we gave the final approval, and the installation took place as planned on June 2 and part of June 3.  Everyone who came to our home was very courteous and respectful of our home.  We had envisioned somewhat of a mess to get the old attic unit out, but that was not the case.  Our hardwood floors and stairway were protected.  Everything was cleaned up.  The guys were all very nice and pleasant to have in our home.  We thought the price was very fair.  There was a rebate on the system, so Mack Morris just lowered the price accordingly and did not make us pay up front and wait for the rebate.  They filled out the paperwork for the Dominion Virginia Power rebate and mailed that in for us the day following the installation.
We were very pleased wtih the installation and also the quality of the equipment that we were sold.  We highly recommend this company and look forward to dealing with them in the future on our other heat pump.

Will and Cody were our electricians. They were very courteous and helpful in explaining things to me. They cleaned up any debris that they created. I will definitely use them again.

II returned home on Tuesday evening and had no water.  I called 6 companies offering emergency services to replace a well pump. All but this one said they could not replace the pump until 8 the following morning.  The gentleman answering the phone for this company said he' come that evening.  He came and looked at the pump and said it needed to be replaced--something I already knew--and that they could not do it until 10 the next morning.  He also said the pressure tank needed to be replaced and that would cost an addition $300. I had to move to a hotel.  They came, replaced the pump, replaced the pressure tank and said the filter needed replacing but they could not replace the filter for yet another day.   I had replaced the pump 12 years earlier for a price of $800.  Prior to contacting any provider, I had looked at the distribution of costs for pumps in Virginia (http://www.homeadvisor.com/cost/plumbing/repair-a-well-pump/) and anticipated the cost would be less than $1200 for the total.  I was shocked at the charge that was almost three times this amount.

I'd never consider using this company again.  They all were very "friendly" but I feel shafted.  While he did not tell me he would replace the pump the evening he came, it was implied.  Mistake on my part.

The pump, pressure tank and filter all seem to be working well at this time.  Yet, I have a bad feeling about this company because of the extreme price and the feeling I have that I was duped.  I would never use this company again and I would suggest that anyone considering it should be cautious and not have an open-ended arrangement.

Crew was very good at explaining the pros/cons of various ways of replacing aging air conditioner. No attempts to upsell, and their price was exactly what they quoted - no adjustments for surprises in installation, etc. Installation went smoothly. A glitch or two when the furnace was first used was solved quickly - they came almost immediately, diagnosed the problem with a faulty switch wiring, and solved the problem.

We had several companies come to give us estimates. Mack Morris was the easiest to communicate with, quick to respond and polite. The sales representative was knowledgeable and answered all questions.
