    Troy-Bilt Construction
Troy Bilt was a great fit for our job. Troy and Mark do quality work and are very interactive and responsive as the job progresses . Troy came out promptly to give a quote. Work was started sooner than originally planned and he stayed on the job until it was completed. He also suggested a few value added enhancements as things moved along. Troy has a good eye for detail and matching new construction in with the existing structure. The job site was cleaned up every day before they left; and all trash and waste material was removed from the site. All the county inspections went smoothly. I look forward to using Troy Bilt again for future projects.

Everything went well. Tom is busy because does all the work by himself, unless it is a big job and then he uses a helper. He came to quote the job personally and treated me fairly and with respect, even though it was a small job. He performed the work as promised and charged me fairly.

They did a fabulous job.  They even considered the weakest part in any concrete stairs, which is where two rises meet.  The cut back the soil, so that it was at least six inches thick at the thinnest point.  Rebar and metal fencing of course.
There was a bit of concrete ridges on the edge of some of the stairs, where the the cream got between the edger and the forms.  No big deal. I'll take an angle grinder with a masonry disk, and grind that off.
    Looks great.

    Expertise Painting,Inc.
The owner of the business (Dan) and his two employees (Jay and Al) arrived punctually each of the 3.5 days that they were here.  They were all very professional and took care to make sure that areas were properly covered.  The paint looks fantastic!  Areas were inspected for needed touch up (very little required) prior to leaving on the last day.  Each evening they stopped work early enough to thoroughly clean up (we had covered the hardwood in rosin paper, but they still took the time to sweep up each evening before they left).
Not only did they do excellent work at a fair price, but they are very nice people.  I enjoyed talking with them each morning.  They were very respectful of our home.  We would hire them again in an instant, would have no qualms about allowing them to work in our home without our presence, and enthusiastically recommend them.

    Steve Merritt
We liked Steve very much. He's personable, experienced, and generous with his time. He did the jobs well, and was very patient when I watched him do a couple of the projects. I am somewhat a do-it-yourselfer and I was curious to see how someone who knows their stuff gets the job done. He had very good and practical ideas about how to do some other projects that require more time than we had booked him for, and is quite conscious of costs and how to do things economically. I intend to call him to schedule time for these projects that we've postponed for years. I highly recommend him.

This was the second time I have used Joseph.  He is extremely professional.  He always calls before he starts a job.  He is prompt and  finishes the job in the time frame that he has estimated.  He uses quality products and communicates continually as he completes the work..  In addition, he goes above and beyond completing additional jobs that he didn't include in the estimate at no extra charge.
In my case, he washed my lawn furniture, cut down a cedar tree and cleared other brush.  He washed and stained a side walk, weeded flower beds and cleared and carted off debris not related to the job.  He always wants to make sure that you are pleased with the work completed.  When I was concerned about the coverage of the stain on the deck he added another coat of stain.  Now it is beautiful and I would highly recommend Joseph as a very competent and professional contractor!

Greg came and gave me an estimate on the day and time that he said he would.  He was very professional.  He asked questions to make sure he understood what it was that I wanted and promised to have the estimate by the following Monday.  I received the estimate as promised.  It was clear exactly what work would be preformed and how much each component of the project would cost. After receiving other estimates  I thought that Greg's estimate was fair.
I hired Greg to do the work.  Originally he told me he could not start the project until mid June.  Lucky for me his schedule allowed him to start the project earlier than expected.  Greg showed up when he said he would.  He was on time and completed the project in the amount of time he said it would take. I feel like he delivered quality work for a reasonable price.  He even did a couple of small extra things at no additional cost.  When I received the bill it was exactly what the estimate said it would be.
I will be sure to call Greg when it's time to remodel my master bath or do any other project in my home.  I wish I had found him earlier. .

We found Joe here on Angie's List, and when we called, we found that it would be a while before he could come. It was worth the wait. He first scheduled a Saturday consultation so that we could figure out what he would do. For the consultation, he offered lots of helpful advice, was super friendly, and did not come across as rushed or brusque. He was clear about costs. He also said that he'd be glad to have me help/observe so that I could learn more about this work.  We settled on several different tasks, and we scheduled the actual work for a few weeks later.  There was a little confusion about the scheduling, but Joe was very flexible again.
The day of the work, he brought a helper, as we had agreed during the consultation (I feel terrible that I can't remember his name, he was great, too.).  They got to work quickly, and they talked me through a lot of what they were doing. Joe's estimate for the amount of work that could be done in the day was spot-on. In the end, he accomplished several tricky tasks, repairing or replacing different trim around the house that had rotted, including eave boards, porch railings and pickets, garage door trim, and window and door trim. In the process, I watched him work through a variety of problems, learning a bit about how to improvise when they arise.
The cost was absolutely fair, but not cheap. For his skill and the ease of working with him, it's probably low.
All in all, a great experience. Thanks, Joe!

I had Wayne in to install a garbage disposal.  He did a great job, didn't charge an arm and a leg and cleaned everything up after.  I have him coming back this week to install a new faucet and flood light.  I'm very happy with the work that was performed and would highly recommend him.
