  • They were good. You had to go through a major home improvement store.The quality was good. Their responsivenss was good that time but I used them later and had problems. They said they did not have enough technicians, and they were busy, but they took care of my problem. They were supposed to come at 4:00 (but came) at 8:00 or 9:00 a few times. Not good at all. Their professionalism was good. I think we have a five year warranty,

  • We were referred to Atlas from our Home Warranty company. The technician was very polite and went about his job as soon as he got here. He took apart the outdoor portion of the unit, inspected everything and concluded that the compressor was done for and that the unit should be replaced. I was disappointed that there was no call ahead, but otherwise very satisfied with their services.

  • We were very satisfied with the service and would call again. The technician was very polite and thoroughly explained that the compressor was broken and due to the age of the unit, recommended that it be replaced. He answered all of my follow up questions without my feeling rushed. When I asked for the additional service to look at the function unit, he went ahead and did that as well. He made a few recommendations for the functioning (newer) unit and left all of the prices for the options. The only thing I would recommend is that their techs wear shoe covers. Otherwise, they did a great job from the tech to the office contact.

Promised it by week's end.  Never received it and called twice or even three times asking about it and was told I'd get it soon.  Absolutely ridiculous that I have to track a professional down to give them my business.  Do not waste your time.  extremely unorganized

  • Exceptional company to work with! High quality work at competitive pricing. The crew was extremely professional and clearly understood how to install and explain the operations of the equipment. They arrived early, took time to prep the job site and protect the flooring and surrounding areas and applied the same amount of care was to clean up. We had two teams of installers - Billy & Matt and Jeremy and Melvin. They were all fantastic!! We are switching to Mannix to continue with our energy maintenance plan.

  • Our hot water heater stopped providing hot water.  Matt, the plumber, did a thorough check on the hot water heater and determined that the problem stemmed from a missing "cartridge" that should have been installed with a new Delta tub/shower valve.  The cartridge was not included in the package but rather in a trim kit that is on order.  The cost was $95.
    We became concerned about a potential electrical issue, as a result of an ongoing renovation, and made a second call to John Nugent & Sons several days later.  The electrician (also called Matt but a different person), determined that a GFI plug was not properly installed.   The cost was $95 and that included a panel inspection.  Matt came back a few days later, at our request, to properly install the GFI plug.  The cost was $250. 
    We were very pleased with both Matts.  They arrived within the timeframe given, they called before they arrived, and we were pleased with the knowledgeable and friendly service of the office employees who made the appointments.

  • I had them look at my HVAC system as the AC unit outside is not sitting level and I was worried that it would not operate well that way.  It is 16 years old and had slowly tilted due to erosion.  I wanted to know what it would cost to level the equipment and whether I should consider replacing the system altogether rather than spend a fair amount for the leveling work (as the system would have to be disconnected, coolant removed, etc.) I was a little worried that it might fail at an extremely hot or cold time and I'd be without HVAC. Long story short, Rubio said I should leave well enough alone.  The leveling process might actually cause problems in a system which was operating just fine at this point.  And he did not recommend replacing it until it fails even tho there is some risk I could be without HVAC for a short time when that happens.  So he recommended that I leave it alone.  Good advice I think.  I was very happy with his practical and honest approach.  Cost nothing.  I did want him to service the system, but I never got back to him to schedule that ... so that's on me, not him.
