    DreamHome
We recently had Dreamhome to replace our roof. From the sales team to the installers our experience was top notch. The sales staff was informative and patient with all of our questions. They honored our request of when we wanted the work done with no questions asked. The roofing team arrived on time and was very courteous and respectful of our home and our needs. We love our new roof and we would be glad to refer Dreamhome to anyone who is looking for work to be done on their home. Well done!

    Sunshine Contracting Corporation
I love this company. I was giving the white glove treatment from the day I called for an estimate until the projects were completed. The owner Mr. Ryan Sabo is awesome, gives good honest qoutes and he kept his word on every project deliverable. His staff (Mr. Nate Sullivan and Mr. Gonzales) are very professional, and will go out of the way to make sure you are happy. The entire process and end product was impeccable and truly beauiful. I love the exterior of my home and my neighbors do as well. I will go to this company for any exterior work from now on because I know I wont have to worry about getting ripped off and receiving sub-par quailty quality work.

    EA Roofing & Siding LLC
The repair work performed was outstanding! The team was very responsive and professional throughout the entire process. I was most impressed with their attention to detail, expertise, and quality of work. EA Roofing and Siding LLC kept me properly informed as they completed each phase of the job. All work was done in a timely manner--on target! In addition, I received prompt and courtesy phone calls with opportunities to discuss material grades and color matching. This is a First Class company and thus I give them my highest seal of approval for a job well done!!!

    Tom Hanger Home Improvement
They did a great job. The price was much less than other contractors, the work thorough, and the final result very pleasing. Rick Hylton, the owner, was very low pressure, gave us multiple options, explaining the pros and cons of each. He advised that we get at least 3 estimates. Each team cleaned up the old materials as they replaced with new. Rick was willing to meet with us at a time convenient for us, even if it was on a Saturday. Payment was made for each part of the job as that segment was completed. We had 32 windows replaced in addition to several bay windows and one gigantic sunporch window for which they had to construct a new frame. We had all the gutters replaced and a leaf guard inserted.

    Jenkins Restorations
My husband and I want to express our sincere gratitude to Jenkins Restorations for rebuilding our home after the fire back in August. We are very pleased with the outcome as Jenkins Restorations did a wonderful job. With the expertise and supervision of Gary Schembs, our home was rebuilt in record time. Gary was always available and receptive to our questions and requests. Promptly responding to us meant a great deal when we were stressing out about the rebuild. Gary always reassured us and told us not to worry, that he would get things done in a timely manner, and he did just that. If we ever have occasion to need Jenkins in the future, we will definitely reach out to Gary. It was a pleasure to work with Gary and his team!

    Consumer Construction Inc
Bottom Line Up Front: I could not be more pleased with the results of the work performed by Consumer Construction, Inc. (CCI). It is EXCEPTIONAL in every way. The sales rep (Mark) and the work crew, (Patrick and Kendall) were hard working and professional in every way. They were polite, they worked hard, they answered my many questions, and they were highly trustworthy to do the best job they could perform. If I had to leave a voice mail or email, it was returned promptly. We purchased our home in 1994 and noticed that a previous-homeowner installed concrete porch extension had settled a bit. Over the last 22 years, it has continued to settle to the point that the overhanging porch had twisted. We had the concrete porch demolished and replaced using helical piers (another company) and hired CCI to reset the porch. We previously hired them to do other repairs and was quite pleased with them. After a series of scheduling changes due to weather, CCI started work. The pre-painted all materials because of the colder temperatures and came ready to work! They jacked up the porch to level by using screw jacks, and replaced the columns with colonial PVC columns that were steel lined. Once the porch roof was reset, they removed the porch ceiling and tied the rafters back to the home with A34 joist hangers. They then added needed insulation. They used stiff foam board insulation, custom cutting each panel to fit between each set of rafters, and also fit small pieces underneath and adjacent to the 2 X 6 rafters. Once this was done, they allowed me time to install a crawl space catwalk and then replaced the porch ceiling with 1/4" plywood that was also PVC lined. Once the ceiling was placed, they installed a new porch rail system. I had some questions for them, and they made some additional recommendations to the work, such as footers for the columns. This recommendation were the details that the porch needed to really look first rate. They came back the next day (with warmer temperatures) to touch up the painted area, and ended up painting the entire project again, to ensure uniform coverage. They also replaced the trim boards around our garage door bays with PVC, making them look brand new. Even the extra details of matching the caulking to the aluminum siding was a nice and professional touch. We are pleased in every way, with the efforts of Consumer Construction Inc. I would recommend them for work in the Northern Virginia area and WILL certainly hire them again to do work that is outside my skill level. We made a great choice!

    Jeisen's Construction General Remodeling LLC
Jeisen did an outstanding job! My house looks fantastic.  He took his time and actually had to come back the next morning to finish.  I would highly recommend him to have your house power washed.  He really takes pride in his work.

    Jeisen's Construction General Remodeling LLC
Jeisen took all the necessary siding off of the back of the house to expose the damaged plywood.  He reinforced and reattached the loose wall stud, replaced the damaged plywood and put all the siding back on.  He did a fantastic job and I am already talking to him about doing more work around my house.  The price was great.

    Bobby Rose
Needed to do some repairs to sell our home.   He did everything in a timely manner (one reason I didn't go with other Roofing/Gutter companies that gave me estimates). He could do EVERYTHING that we needed done so we only had to work with one contractor.  He came highly recommended by a neighbor who usually prefers to do all the work on his house himself because he doesn't trust contractors.

    EA Roofing & Siding LLC
We did a lot of research with other contractors before we went with EA Roofing and Siding.  These were larger operations and they spent a LOT of time marketing all the benefits of their products and differentiating themselves from the competition before they would even give you a hint at their pricing.  Once they revealed their pricing (in a follow up session), they wanted to you make a commitment (i.e. sign a contract) on the spot.  Hopefully this review will save you a lot of time listening to all the sales talks and help you avoid a high pressure sales situation that could end up being very costly.
Here are some of the main claims that those OTHER companies made:
    1. Claim:  Financial Stability:
They claimed that ALL smaller contractors fund their current job with the money from their next job.  They tried to make you believe that those smaller companies are all about to go bankrupt and are taking an advance on your money to stay afloat for their current job.
        1. Fact:  EA Roofing had no such cash flow problems.  Even after the job was done, they were in no big hurry to submit the final invoice.
      1. Claim:  Workmanship
      2. The competition claimed that the other contractors put the new roof on over top of your old roof just to save money.
        1. Fact:  EA Roofing and Siding did very high quality work.  They most definitely took the old roof off, down to the bare wood, before they put the new roof on.  If they didn't do that there would have been no way to check for bad decking.  They did NOT cut corners to save money.
      1. Claim:  Other contractors don't have a good warranty on their work
        1. They liked to emphasize that you don't have a warranty for the roof if the company goes out of business (and they are all about to go out of business as they told you in point number one...).
        2. Fact:  EA roofing gave a good warranty:  They upgraded the roof to architectural shingles for no extra cost, because they wanted their work to "really look great."  The architectural shingles automatically come with a 30 year warranty.  In my opinion, the manufacturer warranty is not very useful.  It is extremely unlikely you'll ever need it, because NONE of them covers hail damage, which is the real killer of roofs.  The fact that it is excluded from the manufacturers warranty is no big deal, since hail damage is already covered by our homeowner's policy.
        3. [The siding also came with a warranty.  I don't recall at the moment how long it is for...]
      1. Claim:  Other contractors void the siding warranty by using a drop in backer...
      1. Then they show you that their siding design has integrated the siding with the insulation (one piece, with no air gaps).  They emphasize that their siding is rated to 190 mph, while the regular siding is mounted on top of the insulation and has air gaps and is only rated to 130 mph.  In my opinion, this was a VERY weak selling point.  If there are 190 mph winds, then my house is going to get more damage from crashing trees and flying branches, NOT because there are air gaps between the siding and the backer...  I'm also not convinced that the integrated siding is all that great, because it is glued in place and does not allow the house to breathe.  (I'd rather let my house breathe and not trap the toxins inside...)  Either way, if the siding does rip off, then insurance will cover it.  Even better, Virginia has a law that prevents your insurance rates from going up if the claim is due to a natural disaster.  I'd rather save the difference in price and get NEW siding for the cost of my deductible, if that storm does hit.
      2. Claim:  Other contractors are unable to do larger jobs
        1. Since we wanted two windows inserted in a brick wall [NOT A TRIVIAL JOB BY ANY MEANS...], we were prepared to hire another contractor to get that done, but EA Roofing and Siding had the appropriate connections to subcontract out that work and coordinate the timing of the projects to knock them out at one time.  Very impressive and with INCREDIBLE results!  It completely changed the look and atmosphere of the room and main level.  We absolutely LOVE the light and the new view to the back yard that we never had before.

      1. Summary:
      2. Apparently the large companies know where their competition is and they go out of their way to slam them for hours on end before they will give you their price.  EA Roofing and Siding didn't spend any time denigrating other contractors.  They just came in, showed you their products and got right to the price, which was SIGNIFICANTLY better than ANYONE else!!!  Their workmanship was phenomenal and project management impeccable.  On top of that, their price was unbeatable.  I just wish we could have saved ourselves all that time researching other contractors before we discovered EA Roofing and Siding.  Hope this info saves you that time.  God bless.
