Plumber reviews in Dumfries

  • The last time I used Workhouse Plumbing, it was to install a new shower in my house. They did a great job at a highly competitive price. I first learned of Workhouse Plumbing from a friend who is a highly successful real estate agent - this is her go-to company for all plumbing needs and she raves about them. I have since used them a few times and I have to agree, they are stellar. I wouldn't consider anyone else. There are several things where they stand out: a) Highly competent and get the job done right the first time - including good troubleshooting skills b) Super reasonable prices c) Reasonable availability d) Morris is one of the most decent people you will meet. He's the kind of guy I would feel comfortable with leaving a house key with. It's good to work with someone like him so is good to the core. If you are looking for a plumber in the Northern Virginia area, I would highly recommend Workhouse Plumbing.

  • I am a Realtor in Northern Virginia and use Jeisen's Handyman Service all the time. Jeisen is extremely responsive, is dependable and gets the job done correctly! No job is too small for Jeisen, AND he has done amazing, full remodel work as well.

  • STOP...No need to look further.... Nelson and his helper finished almost 20 items on my to do list in record time and with A+++ results. A+++ work is when you repair a gouge in a wall with 3 coats of filler and wait in between until it is fully dry or you move a banister support 3 inches to the left to hit a stud then you repair the wall so no one knows you moved it. Nelson is the only one I trust to work on my home because I know the job will be done to my satisfaction and within a reasonable fee. His rates are very good and since he work hourly and fast you get more for your money. As an example Nelson once finished installing new sink fixtures and installed a bathroom light for 20% less than another person for just finishing the sink.

  • The installation team showed up on time and completed the project in a timely manner. It was obvious that the team took pride in doing a professional job. This was the second time I used Kinnett Plumbing, and I will use them again in the future. Their price was actually the lowest of all the estimates received, but I gave them a B rating just because the price of plumbing services in general seems to be too high.

  • I placed a call t 3:30 pm and was completely surprised when the gentleman on the phone told me a technician will come in between 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Jamie called and came in around 4:45. He checked out what the problem was, replaced the faucet and was out of the house by 5:30. He was courteous, professional and kind to my poochie who was all over him. I was impressed with his work and will certainly use Woodbridge Plumbing again. And thank you for the senior citizen discount!

  • Morris and his apprentice arrived promptly and began work. During the course of the faucet installation he discovered that a valve under the sink needed replacing, as well as the main water shut-off valve for the house. The repairs were completed in a reasonable amount of time, and everything was cleaned up nicely. Morris kept me informed of the progress and explained things well. The cost for the faucet replacement was similar to what other plumbers had quoted. The price shown below is for installing one faucet, there was a discount on the second one.

  • Gave me an honest price from Rob right away. Rob explained everything that was needed and quoted the entire job. We had several other estimates that were about $250 cheaper at first. Other estimates had left out many required hidden costs like expansion tank and water heater pan which were required. As I questioned other companies about these costs they would not have told me until onsite, their estimates all met or surpassed what Rob at Able plumbing told me in the first place. We gave the job to the guy that was honest up front and couldn't be happier. They showed up on time and completed the job quickly. We would definitely hire them again.

  • Outstanding as always with Jimmy B. He is an extremely knowledgeable and professional plumber who always gives us outstanding service. A few years ago he quickly diagnosed and fixed a problem with a valve that other plumbers said would require breaking apart tile. That sold me on Jimmy's honesty and professionalism.

  • Outstanding as always. Jimmie Bevans of FH Furr is a top notch plumber who always exceeds my expectations. He can quickly diagnose problems and fix them while also making solid recommendations for preventative or other maintenance should consider in the future. I have had many plumbers over the years, but Jimmie is the only one I have ever really trusted.

  • The project went extremely well. The French Drain was roughly 75 feet - pretty long for a drain, but our house required substantial work to get erosion under control. I had called Rankin to find out if they could do the work, and they seemed excited about having the opportunity. So, we scheduled a time for them to come out and see the landscape, provide recommendations and a proposal, and make a decision. The two owners (Terry and Brett) stopped by and looked at the area in question, and we discussed various options for installation of the drain, rerouting of house gutter downspouts, and future efforts that may help with erosion. I received the quote shortly thereafter, and found it fair. We decided to move forward. It only took a day, but they did a tremendous amount of work - digging behind a 75-foot 6"x6" wood retaining wall to a depth at roughly 4 feet at the deepest point. The used landscape fabric and gravel to fill the trench to ensure consistent and even flow of water away from the wall and the property to a more acceptable area. As you can tell, our house is on a big hill, and having this work done was a great help in managing rainwater and drainage away from areas of the property that could compromise the structural integrity of our house or the landscape. We still have a lot of work to do, but I'll definitely call these guys again.
