    Drying Tech
I am the owner of a property management company and have used Drying Tech many times. Their service and attention to detail is second to none. They consistently go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. Mold is a health hazard and can not be taken lightly in my business. I rely on Drying Tech because over the years they have earned my trust. They react quickly to emergencies and are always reliable and reasonably priced. They not only remediate Mold and water damage but they are solution finders and look to solve problems to prevent re-occurrence. I have used several larger companies prior to working with Drying Tech, but they do not come near to the level of service Al, Steve, Kevin, and Salena provide. Just the best!

    Services 3,2,1
Mold was not fully removed, crawl space was not dry enough to apply sealant of the wood. ServPro is redoing the work. James was competent enough to question the damage to all sub floor throughout the house, but his workers did a poor job. Demanded payment before we had a chance to inspect-$8K, we paid $4K fortunately on a credit card. This company did not do $8K worth of work, charged us for rental of all equipment almost $4K for 4 days-shouldn't a mold remediation company own its own equipment? No heavy cleaning/scrubbing/ brushing was done. They just sprayed peroxide stuff that foamed up, let it dry, and vacuumed. Three days of running a couple of fans and one big dehumidifyer and charged us for the daily rental of a lot of equipment they never used. We took tons of pictures of the mold they left behind only 5 days after the project was supposedly done. Be wary-they are not mold remediation experts. These pictures are after Services321 finished their cleanup.

Everything went very well with the inspection and the overall experience was positive. We are having the company come back in July to clean some mold found in the attic. We would recommend this company.

    Pristine Shield Home Services
They did a very good job. The air quality is really good since they performed the air duct cleaning and remediation of the mold. I will most definitely recommend them and use them, again. They were very punctual, professional, courteous and respectful!

    Cover Your Assets Home Inspections
Mike was excellent. He responded quickly to initial inquiry and was able to schedule as needed. Mike was very detailed and highly informative. The service was used for a relatives first home purchase. His detailed report and over 50 photos were not only helpful for negotiations but also as a good punch list of minor things to follow-up on after the home purchase. He spent a good amount of time at the property, encouraged us to ask questions and had the detailed report sent over the same day. I have had other inspections done in the past where the inspector hands you a checklist with a few notes on them and were not useful. I would definitely use Mike again and strongly recommend that you consider using him, for your home inspection. The radon test he partners with a company that specializes in that area. They scheduled quickly and were very responsive with test results. Home Inspection was $425 Radon test $125

    ServiceMaster Falls Church/McLean
The initial response by Servicemaster was acceptable. They responded the same day and took measures to dry out the home and remove debris as part of the initial remediation process. As this damage occurred during the closing day of the home purchase (no kidding), we had roughly 2 weeks before we had to move from our apartment and into the home. Given our situation, we wanted the work done as quickly as possible. Servicemaster told us they would strive to restore the home in the 14 days, but of course said this was no guarantee. We accepted this. While we were disappointed with this situation, we also saw the silver-lining with upgrading some of the appliances, flooring, etc. This is where things went awry. Servicemaster struggled to provide the insurance company with estimates so they could issue those funds. Servicemaster stopped work on a variety of occasions claiming they could not continue work without additional funds, although no timeline for payment was expected when work began. Working with insurance companies, Servicemaster ought to have known it can take weeks for funds to be issued as part of the claim. The 14 days turned into more than 6 weeks, and numerous challenges arose: They ordered the wrong cabinets (style and size), they would show up to work at odd hours (in the middle of the night), and they were generally unresponsive. Similarly, Servicemaster subcontracted the work to carpenters and painters who had a variety of schedule conflicts. Owing to this, as well as the frequent work stoppages, mold grew behind the original kitchen counters when they should have been removed at the time of the incident. We lived in the house with the mold for weeks. I was forced to call Servicemaster corporate, and they were less than helpful. I don't know if they ever resolved my complaint, but it was an altogether awful experience. Although the work was completed (for the most part and not without a lot of pressure) and the quality was fair, I would never work with them again. They may be good responding to emergency damage situations, but do not count on them for any home restoration.

    Flood Tech 3
After discovering that my water heater had broken, I was referred to Flood Tech 3 to come and do water extraction.  Ahmad Noorzai and his team arrived within the hour after I called.  They immediately began with the water extraction, removed carpet and pad, cut out the damaged baseboard and drywall, and cleaned up the area before leaving. They left behind 2 blowers and a dehumidifier.  I was impressed with their response time and the team's professionalism, but it doesn't stop there.  After trying to compromise with the Insurance adjustor, an agreement couldn't be reached.  I would've been left to pay the outstanding balance, and although liable for it, Ahmad is so customer service focused that he told me not to worry about the difference.  He accepted the payment amount from me that I received from the Insurance company which was lower than his estimate.  This is what I call true customer service!!!

    Anderson Construction
The work was done in a timely fashion and the work area was left clean and in order.
I felt the cost was a little expensive. But I didn't get any other estimates, so I don't have anything to compare the cost to.

Exceptional first-class service. Provided detailed information in clear, concise, easy to understand terminology. Efficient in the process and done ahead of schedule. Took care of additional work related to issue even though not part of original estimate, but without additional charges. Our appreciation and thanks go out to Alfredo Ruano and his team for their efforts in making our first home a more pleasurable and safe place to live.

    Indoor Air Solutions
If you see their coupon, immediately crumple and throw in the trash or fire place.  These guys are liars and criminals.  They offer cheap coupons so that they can get into your house and run their SCAM..I had a coupon for $35 to clean all heating vents, dryer vents and bathroom vents.  Technician claimed to find mold in the system and pointed out the "mold".  When he was all done doing the work the "mold" was still there.  At that point he claimed that it was normal accumulation on the coils and that it wasn't actually mold.  Work was agreed to under false pretenses.  Also, if there actually was a mold problem as he claimed there was, the cost for the work done was extremely overpriced.  I thought I was paying $35 to have my vents clean, but I ended up basically buying a basic UV light for $900, because technician planted fear in my head about possible health affects of having mold in my system.  I tried calling the company to come to a resolution about being mislead and agree to the work under false pretenses and duress.  The manager, Sharon, continuously cut me off while I was trying to explain what had happened and kept speaking over me so that I could not get my point across.  Nothing came of the conversation and I was forced to take other routes to get this situation resolved.
