  I used this company to fix a small wooden backyard gate and front side of fence for a townhouse for $1400. They came out and started the work in a very timely manner. A couple of weeks after completion there was rain and some wind ( nothing severe or hurricane like) that resulted in damaging the latch to the point where it was unusable. I asked for a replacement under the 1 year warranty that came with the job. After weeks of not returning my calls and getting the run around I was told that the 1 year warranty does not cover damaged latches due to weather. I was told it would cost $250 for a replacement of the exact same type of latch because that���s the only kind they have. Of course I refused since the next rainy day will result in the same damage. They also put an advertising sign on my fence without asking for permission. I told them I did want a sign with their company name and logo on my property. They refused to remove it unless I showed them proof and documentation that it was a violation of my HOA rules. I had to email them the HOA violation letter multiple times and make multiple follow up calls once again. The sign was eventually removed several weeks later. Overall, I would not use this company again due to their poor follow up and customer service.

  Builders Fence Co

  We are very happy with all aspects of our experience with Builder's Fence. Prior to installation, Jarrod was more than helpful and patient with our numerous questions. Installation was on time, professionally done. Crew was very friendly. We are still getting compliments from our neighbors on our new fence, but I think our dog loves it the most.!! Would absolutely recommend Builder's Fence and hire them again.

  The best thing (besides the price) was they gave an estimate on the spot and delivered the fence within 2 weeks of contracting. They forgot a couple caps so had to come back the next day but was very professional and I would use them again.

  Mr. Best was on time.  He assessed the areas that needed fixing and he started right away.  He started with the gate first, by taking it down.  I provided the wood (purchased from Lowe's) which needed cutting and he had a jigsaw to do so (called him from Lowe's to see if he was able to do so).  He set up his portable workbench in the driveway, cut the wood exactly how it was (curved), showed me to ensure I liked it prior to putting the gate back on.  Good as new. 
  He then worked on the shutters.  He showed me why they fell down so easy (some fell down 2yrs ago and had another contractor fix them) because they weren't drilled in far enough, the type of pins that were installed previously, what pins he uses and the special glue that he also uses in the hole that's drilled into the brick, etc.  It was good information.  When he was done he showed me the shutters and i was pleased.  It took him approx 2.5hrs and the price was reasonable.  Mr. Best was very professional and I would definitely use his services again. I have already recommended some of my friends.

  I first contacted MC Fence through their website and did not get a response after 3 days so I called and made an appointment for an estimate.  The appointment was made for the end of the week.  Billy arrived on time and was both professional and friendly.  I asked him if he could also have a look at our deck which need some work. He took some measurement of both fence and deck and explained that the fence it self was In good condition and that the posts were not cemented when the fence was originally constructed therefore this caused the leaning of the fence and the gate.  He explained what needed to be done to correct the fence, which included taking the fence apart, install new posts with cement and installing the correct size posts for the gate.  After receiving the estimate a couple of day later, I called and made an appointment for the following week MC Fence called the day before to let us know that they would arrive around 1:30 in the afternoon. I was a little concerned that there would be enough time to do the job and was assured that the job would only take a couple of hours. On the day, my husband was home and received a call to say the materials did not arrive on time and were able to be there the following morning. 
  The day of the job the team arrived on time with all materials and got to work. My husband was rather impressed with how quickly they got to work cutting down the fence, digging through what is a clay/rock ground to install the new posts. Also, to our surprise building a new gate right before his eyes. 
  The cost of the fence included the Angie's list discount and I suppose the new gate as mentioned as a coupon. The fence is now sturdy and looks great! I would so recommend M C Fence and Deck and look forward to using them again on our deck in the near future. Thank you for a great experience.

  Long Fence

  We called in May and got estimates from three fence companies including Long Fence and theirs was the cheapest. But then it took from May until August to complete the fence installation process. The good: the estimator Paul was friendly and professional in doing the estimate which included walking around the property line and determining the possible fence layout, discussing options, providing recommendations and taking our order. The installers were quick, professional, and cleaned up after the work was done. The new fence looks terrific and we love how it follows the contour of the backyard. The bad: it took a considerable amount of time for the company to actually come out and begin the installation and complete it (May to August), the original crew came out and stated that there were too many bushes, limbs or trees in the way after I had cleared everything along the fence line lines that Paul had shown me so they left, I called the headquarters and told them that I followed Paul's proposed fence line and cleared everything within two feet of the line. Their response was we will clear it for you for $300. I called Paul and he was willing to come back out and actually use a string to mark the fence line which I used to clear a few more items away from the line. The installers came back out and finally began putting in the fence but they were short two gate posts so they used regular fence posts which were smaller for one gate. So I had to call the headquarters and ask them and Paul if this could be corrected and they promised to send the crew back out. Of course this took some time for them to come back as they were busy. Once they replaced the gate posts we noticed that the latches on the gate they used to enter our backyard no longer lined up so we could not close and lock the gate. That necessitated another call to have the crew return and fix the latch. Last but not least I received the invoice in the mail for the remaining amount we owed for the fence so I immediately called the headquarters that afternoon to make the payment. I was directed to Michelle who asked when was I going to make the payment. I told her that is why I was calling. Her response was that the amount was past due. I told her that I had just received the invoice in the mail that afternoon and she responded well and quot;it is due when you get the invoiceand quot;. I decided not to argue with someone being so rude and pushy and just paid the remaining amount so we could end this. My neighbor asked about our experience with this company and after my description they decided to go with another company.
