    MyEyeDr. - Stafford
Months ago I made online appointments for my 2 daughters. On the day of the appointment, we arrived a few minutes early. When I handed the receptionist the printouts confirming our 2 appointments, we were told that their records only had 1 and that we would have to make another appointment at a later date. Just to clarify, we had a printout of their system confirming both appointments. At this point, we just left. Over four months later, while trying to purchase contact lenses at another optical, we were told that our benefits had been "frozen" by another business. When i called my insurance company this morning, I found out that it was MyEyeDr placing the hold. Not only did this business make one of our appointments "disappear", but they placed an unauthorized hold on our eyeglasses benefits. I understand them placing a temporary hold on the exam, but they had no right to place a hold on the eyeglasses/contact purchase benefit since i never arranged to purchase them there. And on either case, keeping the hold for almost 5 months is ridiculous. While I found the online appointment scheduling very convenient and one of the main reasons I chose MyEyeDr, it became a moot point if the system doesn't work. On a side note, their waiting room was tiny and packed worse than the DMV. While I can't rate the quality of the optometrists at this facility, their business practice is awful.

Dr. Gadol was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable, thorough, pleasant, and did not rush through the appointment. She made sure I fully understood the problem and what was necessary. I would not hesitate to see her again for any eye issues. This office is not convenient for where I live but, after seeing her, I think I would go there for regular eye appointments. Additionally, the staff members I dealt with were very friendly, helpful, and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Gadol.

Dr. Tsai was very personable, communicative and informative. I learned some things about my vision I hadn't known before, which is why I would highly recommend him.

    Fields, Dr. Kimberly A
I've been looking for a trustworthy optometrist for a couple of years and I finally found one...Dr. Fields.  She and her team are really caring folks who put the patient first.  I scheduled the appointment for my family and me by phone, went in a little early the day of the appointment to fill out some paperwork and the whole process went without a hitch.  The office is a well-oiled machine!  My family and I barely sat down when we started getting called in for our screenings and exams.  I couldn't believe how quickly the process went!  And that's a good thing.  I didn't feel rushed at all.  The technician explained everything she was going to do, had time for me to ask questions and she was very thorough.  As for Dr. Fields, she embodied professionalism and confidence.  She explained the entire vision check procedure in layman's terms and answered all my questions.  A great big bonus was her use of the photo scan to check the retinas.  It sure beats having to have my eyes dilated!  She is the first optometrist to offer that to me.  My entire family was grateful for the outstanding service Dr. Fields and her team provided.  One family member needed glasses and was given excellent assistance by the staff.  Much different experience from a previous optometry clinic.  With Dr. Field's we were not pushed to the most expensive glasses.  Instead, we were allowed to decide based on our needs and financial situation.  The entire staff put the patient first.  Thanks!

It has two different location and I go back and forth depending upon on where D. Mansouri is. He is on route 1 and route 3 west locations. It depends upon where he is that particular day.

    Dixon, Dr. Kevin L.
Dr Dixon took the same care that he had used the last time I visited his office. He remembered from my last visit that I had undergone LASIX surgery.  That rendered the results from the automatic diagnostics questionable.   He performed the manual exam to ensure that the findings were correct.  Dr. Davis was key in preventing me from having cataract surgery which was unnecessary.  I had gone to an optometrist  who stated that I needed to have cataract surgery which would have cost me nearly 7 thousand dollars.  That was more than 10 years ago and I still have not had any problems with my eyes and no cataracts. Dr Davis will always be my optometrist.  I am sure that he has my best interest at heart more than filling his wallet.

This is the most thorough practice I have ever been to. The front office is great as are the assistants. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything well. He also works within the drug formulary of my insurance company and checks back to ensure that the medication is effective.

    Campbell, Dr. Glenn C
Made appointment a couple of weeks in advance. Wanted to make sure that I had expenses in 2008 since I had met insurance deductible. Exam was fine. Would have liked technician performing the work to communicate a little more. Then was taken to another exam room where doctor saw me. He advised that new glasses would not help me much more since my cataract had progressed. He suggested having it removed and replaced with a new multi-focal lens. Was then taken to a 3rd room where an administrator wanted to immediately schedule surgery. I felt a little pressured to have the work done and said that I wanted more information. The multi-focal lens is not covered by insurance, only the single-focal lens. It was explained that this would cost an additional $3000, which seemed rather expensive to me. I wanted to research things before I made a commitment. After speaking with my insurance company, I then called back to have the doctor's office submit a pre-authorization so I could discuss the specifics with my insurance company. I was told that I would have to schedule the surgery in order for them to do that. To date, I have not scheduled the work. I am still researching why this is so expensive a procedure.
