ABob Riddick Home Services IncWe needed a substantial remodel on our SML house. Bob Riddick Home Services (BRHS) has done work on our roof since before we purchased that house; including some minor repairs and a softwash to enable a few more years on the roof before we bite the bullet and go for a new roof. When we decided to begin the remodel, we simply choose BRHS. We didn't bother with multiple quotes because BRHS's reputation was solid gold. It still is. Our Project Manager, Tripp Parker was not only knowledgeable, professional, and punctual, but he has great patience when working with a sometimes difficult customer (me). He was invaluable! I was given a lot of leeway concerning products and materials that I wanted to use and as such, often made decisions that involved plan changes. For example, I moved a wall and wanted a Barn Door that was more than 120-inches. I couldn't find anything that I liked, so Tripp had one "built" for me. I love it! Tripp's Number One, Shawn Jolliff was experienced, professional, creative, and unflappable! Doors, floors, and windows sometimes don't play well together, but Shawn would finesse them and make them work together. Phase 2 is going to begin this year and we will certainly use Bob Riddick Home Services again.- Janet Rich O.

AAppalachian Building ConceptsMike Motley came out to give an estimate the same day I called. They showed up when they were scheduled to and finished when he said they would. I was very impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail. They were careful with my landscaping and left my yard looking better than it did when they arrived. AAppalachian Building ConceptsThe project went very well. The price was fair and reasonable given the amount of work required. Mike, Lou and their helper started work and completed the project on the dates promised. They offered some excellent design suggestions such as where to place the stair to the ground (the original deck had no stair) and how to modify the railing so as to permit the crank windows in the kitchen to open fully. The resulting deck is sturdily built, good-looking and functional. They were easy to work with and careful about such matters as not letting the dog out of the backyard, etc. When finished, they did a good job of clean-up and removal of debris, etc. I would not hesitate to use them again.- SUZI A.

His crew members were very respectful of our property and took care to make everything look beautiful. They went above and beyond...we got more than we expected! He called me the day before delivery to provide me with the time that he would be arriving to drop of the dumpster. He set up the dumpster with care and consideration to the surroundings. AAffordable Labor & ContractingOutstanding work! Arrived on time and removed not only the carpet, padding and tack strips but staples that had been used throughout the padding. It was a difficult job that took most of the day and several trips to haul things away. At the end of the day, they had uncovered wood floors that were in good shape, and left our home clean and in better shape than when they arrived.- M M.

FI had used this company successfully 4 times in the past. This time I requested a quote online as always. The response came back from a company named Professional Auto Shippers with the same phone number as Executive Auto Shippers. They sent me a price and we set the first day of pickup as May 20. Understanding the 3 day pickup window, I got concerned late on the 21st. On a phone conversation I was promised someone would call me before the end of the day. That did not happen. The next day I called at about 10 AM because we had a 2 PM flight to return to Illinois. No answer or call back. We got in the car and made the drive back in 2 days. This morning I received information from the company and a truck driver that our car would be picked up sometime today, 7 days after the first pickup date. I told the driver we had already driven the car to Illinois. I doing a little research I learned apparently this company operates under several separate names, although the phone numbers are the same and the contact person, Ray Rodriguez is the same.

AThe move went so smoothly and fast!! The guys wrapped up all of our furniture, and electronics so nothing would break or get dinged. The 3stoey townhouse we moved from was very narrow, filled with wall to wall furniture and at least 300 boxes. They moved like magic and had our whole house empty in record time! When we arrived at the new house, they were already here and ready to go! It was so comforting to know that they really cared about making sure all furniture was in the correct places. We had a huge heavy desk, but they got it upstairs without breaking it, the walls or themselves! I appreciated how upfront and honest they were regarding time and cost, no hidden miscellaneous fees as with some of the other moving companies. From the initial scoping call to the confirmation phone call , then when they had arrived, and again when they were done. We've had other movers where they cursed in front of our kids, left trash on the lawns, and in the house, from either their drinks or food, broke various fixtures from furniture and never called our attention to it. I'm so elated to report that this is absolutely not the case with this magnificent team! They worked so hard and well together, cleaned up after themselves and then some, and were nice to my kids. That really means a lot to me. One of our desks had a foot that came off, not only did they let us know about it but they also fixed it! Amazing, reliable and honest. I will be using them again and you should too!
