The estimate was good, he was thorough and explained everything well. I felt like he wasn't getting that the walls were lacking insulation and we knew this because our inspector took pictures using an infrared camera so we knew how many places more than likely had no insulation (the inspector warned us to only use a company that had technology that allowed them to see heat in the walls, our fault for failing to do so). He explained his team would consist of workers and a project manager and someone would speak English (thought it was weird that it was mentioned) and it would take a few hours. We were expecting several people but there were only 2. One man spoke no English at all but that was fine, the other communicated well and explained all the steps they were going to take. We agreed to everything that was recommended and I don't feel like it was all completed. We notice NO difference at all upstairs, it's just as hot as before. There was talk of blowing in insulation, I never saw a machine but the texture does look like the pictures and images I've looked up. He recommended putting these boards where the roof goes out, I never saw those come off the truck, and they were supposed to open the vents to the outside but I have no idea if they did. But they did show me steps along the way so I know the knee walls were at least covered in the silver liner that was recommended and some fluffy stuff was in the attic. I mentioned several times that I felt like no one understood the walls needed insulation and the worker was going to contact his boss but it was never addressed. Over all I got stuck with a huge mess, it was super dusty and chunks of insulation were on the floor, carpet, and out on the grass in front of the house- someone mentioned they vacuumed for them, that never happened here plus they removed these little doors to the knee wall and never reattached them-- and our problem isn't fixed but we're out $1600.

First of all, I've never posted an online review before. But, my experience with this company still compels me to share it to warn others even though Im posting a little late. Im relaying the play by play details so it is long, but I only wish I was making this up! Here goes: Sat. 2/11 Appointment paid for and scheduled for between 8-9am.   9:15am Called Hao (owner) and asked status of his crew. Said they left half an hour ago. There office is 30 minutes from my home   11:00am Crew arrives. They look at the job to be done and say theyre not going to be able to finish because they have to leave at 4pm.  Came 2 hrs. late and left before the job finished. To top that, their stupid truck needed a jump for a dead battery! Say they will come back Monday at 5pm.   Mon. 2/13  5pm Hong (crew lead) arrives. No truck to blow in insulation!  He drilled holes in walls in unfinished room and thats all. I firmly stated that I do not have the time to drag this out.  Have plans to leave town (sick parent out of state) the following weekend (2/18-2/20).  Need job done yesterday!  Told him to come back Tues 2/14 with the truck and finish the job.  Hong says he will come.   Tue. 2/14 Hong no-shows!  I call Hao and tell him his crew no-showed. Says this is first time hes hearing they did not finish the job on Saturday.  Really!?!  Said he would have to talk to his crew the next morning and would call me at 7am from his office so we can reschedule.   Wed. 2/15 When I did not hear from Hao by 7:30 am Wed 2/15, I called to find out why they no-showed. I got no real explanation. Insisted I need to get this job completed ASAP!  Should only have taken 1 day and Ive already wasted half a week. Hao wants to r/s for Sat 2/18. Told him Im going out of town, but decided to take earliest appointment on Sat. and postpone my departure after the jobs done.  Make appointment with Hao for second time for Sat bet 9-10am.  He assured me his people would be there.   Sat. 2/18 Pride Insulation NO-SHOWS AGAIN!  I call Hao and tell him his people did not come.  He assured me I was first job of the day.  He calls his crew and calls me back to tell me they went to another job first instead of mine.  At this point, Im ready to cancel the rest of the job and ask for a refund of my money for my unfinished living room with holes in the walls and no insulation!  Hao pleads for another chance to finish the job. Its clear he does not want to refund my money.  I finally agree to one last appointment on Monday 2/20 afternoon after I get back into town.  Hao promised he would refund me if they did not show up, even if he had to do the job himself   Mon. 2/20 The crew arrives on time, starts to set things up and then realizes they do not have the piece of the hose needed to actually blow the insulation into the wall!  Worker says has to drive all the way back to the office to get it and come back. This is a waste of at least 1.5 hours and blows yet another day on this job.  Now, Ive reached my absolute limit!!  I dont want any more to do with this company and want them to leave and I want my money back for the unfinished portion of the job. It is not so much about the money, but the aggravation is just too much.  I call Hao and tell him whats going on- again!  After a lot of back and forth over the phone, Hao agrees to refund me a small portion of the cost of the last room if I let his crew finish the job.  Reluctantly, I agreed.  By now, it is not even about the money. I just want to be rid of these guys FOREVER! When his crew returned with the part, I let them finish the job, finally.    Fri. 3/3 Two weeks pass and no refund credit has shown up on my credit card.  Wearily, I call Hao one last time. He says the credit probably did not go through because the transaction was more than 30 days ago. (Whatever!)  He offered to give me the refund that day since he is on the road and can stop by my house to drop it off.  Hao arrived with a check. I dont want a check, but I also do want to ever see him again so I take and deposit immediately. Before I say it, Im betting you already know how this ends.  That check bounced like a rubber ball!   All I can say is let the buyer beware when you do business with this company. I know I was not on my A-game at this time because of more important family business, but NO customer deserves to be treated this way. Sure, their prices are competitive, but you could end up paying too high of a price in lost time and aggravation in the end. Pretty safe to say, this company is the first and probably last Angies list recommendation for me.

I saw the deal on Angie's list and decided this was the time to pull the trigger and get this much need progect completed.  From the beginning Tim was very responsive and professional.  He came out to do the estimate and explained some other issues that needed to be fixed.  Within a week all the work was completed.  I am very pleased with this experience and will definitely use this company in the future, they were a pleasure to work with.

The team arrived on time and the removal and reinsulating went well and they were finished by 1pm.  they cleaned up after themselves and they job looked excellent.   I received separate confirmation on a follow up energy survey that the insulation job was done very well.  I would definitely recommend them.

They were wonderful. It was a very extensive job. They did a wonderful job and were very clean. They left no trace of insulation and made sure they cleaned everything up. The hatch that they had to use broke and the owner came out the next day and fixed it for me at no charge.

They showed up even though it was raining, and did the attic and lower level spray foam insulation behind a bedroom and rec room. The next day they came out and did the insulation behind the siding which took all day to do. Cleaned up any left over residue from the foam, and patched the walls. The only thing is they might have severed the telephone wire upstairs from the foam that was done from the outside when they removed the siding to install. I have a technician coming out 12/16/2014 to see if that is what happend. Overall still please with the results.

Work was completed on time and exactly as requested. The driveway is now level and we can smoothly drive into our garage. In addition the crew was very careful to drill between bricks as they raised our front stoop which saved us from having to replace any bricks. Excellent job!

Brad did some insulation work for me at the
beginning of the winter in my crawlspace and attic. Later in the season I had
some additional related work done by another company. They found some areas
that had been missed by Brad and went ahead and finished them while doing their
work. When I brought this to Brad's attention he immediately apologized and
gave me a generous refund for the part that had to be completed. I was very
impressed by his honesty and sense of responsibility

From initial estimate to finished job, everything went smoothly and came in at exactly as quoted.  Prior to payment there were one or two tweaks that needed attention and they were taken care of immediately without any hesitation on the part of the crew.  All work was done in four days and each day ended with a thorough cleanup of the site.

The finished product is very nice. It took a little longer than anticipated. We were told it would take two weeks and it took a little over a month. The workers showed up every couple of days because they had a lot of other projects that they were working on. The workers did a fantastic job when they did show up. They let themselves in and out of the basement, through the back yard and always cleaned up after themselves. When we noticed water seeping out through the walls after they put the drywall up, the contractor came over as soon as we called him and stopped the leak. He, then, noticed that our plumbing was not up to code, so they fixed it the next day. They did not charge us for the late night call. Overall, we were very satisfied with the work, and we have recommended them twice already.
