    Cavallo, Dr. Joseph P.

My last experience went really well. He is always available. If you have a problem you can go ahead and call him and he will meet you at the office so he can go ahead and take care of it. If there is a problem with availability they let you know ahead of time. They all really are very friendly. The effectiveness of treatment is excellent. I don't know what other dentists run, but the billing and administration is reasonable.

I like them. Their prices are A; the service is A.  It is a small business so I like them. It is 95-percent run by females so I really like them. I love their availability because they are open on Saturdays. They are open on Veteran's Day so I took the whole family for our checkups. The office is clean, but it needs to be updated. They are pretty punctual.

    Strickland, Dr. Steven D.
During the cleaning he noticed that my jaw was not lining up correctly so he was able file one of the teeth down of them to make sure that I did not loose the tooth and helped line up my jaw correctly. He is a wonderful dentist, he explains everything, and is very cautious and makes sure that he is doing the correct actions.

They fit me in the same day I called when I broke my tooth. I liked them so much I am going to use them as my regular dental office. All the staff are warm and friendly from the receptionist, the billing personnel, the dental assistants, the hygienist, and finally, the dentists. I never felt any pain but Dr. Chin kept asking me if I was all right and every once in a while she gave me a few minutes break from keeping my mouth wide open. She was gentle and I'm not too scared of the dentist but she was very soothing and I forgot to be anxious. The billing staff were very helpful and I didn't have to fill out any forms--they took care of it for me. Making future appointments were very easy and I really appreciate the text messages they send to remind me of my appointments.

I have been going to him for over 30 years. I found him in the telephone book because we needed to get a dentist. He was close and he is good and good to his patients. I had a bill with him and he let me pay it without never once calling me about it or anything. The  staff is very nice. They talk to me. They call me before my appointments. So far I have been lucky; we have just had to have teeth cleaned. When we have emergencies we can be taken within a week. He is always there and the office is very nice.

    Kim, Dr. Peter H.
Our family has gone to Dr. Kim for many years.  We originally started going because he had Saturday appointments.  As the years went on we started to notice that he regularly recommended crowns and root canals.  I (wife) had one tooth pulled and quickly decided I would go elsewhere if I ever needed that done again (felt like he would break my jaw).  Continued to go for cleanings, regular care.  As our children go older he repeatedly wanted to do several crowns on our daughter.  Her 6-year-old molars came in decalcified and will eventually need to be crowned but we didn't want to do it at a young age when she was still growing.  A couple of months ago she was having minor pain so we knew it was probably time.  Dr. Kim recommended a root canal and crown for one of her affected molars.  She expressly refused to have Dr. Kim do it because he's not very gentle in general.  I called my insurance company and was told an endodontist should do a root canal and they gave me recommendations for endodontists in the area. She had the root canal done there and we found a different dentist where she goes to school to do the root canal.  Two or three weeks after her original appointment with Dr. Kim his office called to schedule her root canal and crown procedure.  My husband told them she'd already had it done and he said they were quite put off by that.
My husband went to see Dr. Kim this week because one of the veneers he had applied fell off while he was eating (nothing hard or solid, it just fell off).  This was the second time one of his veneers came off.  Dr. Kim told my husband he needed a root canal and crown.  My husband told him he didn't want a root canal because he wasn't feeling any pain.  Dr. Kim then told him that because of him grinding his teeth at night (which he doesn't do) he was ruining his bite and the root canal and crown would straighten his bite. My husband said no, but to let him know how much just the crown would be.  Dr. Kim said ok I will go check.  My husband waited for a time and then heard him say hello to another patient.  My husband waited a while longer and still no one came in.  Finally my husband gathered his coat and walked out of the office.  No one from Dr. Kim's office has not called our house to see why he left, to reschedule an appt, or to give him a quote on the crown.  Needless to say we're now in the market for a new dentist.  Which is how I got to Angie's List today.  This reminder to write a review on Dr. Kim popped up.   I figured it was a good time to let others know to stay away unless you want to spend a lot of money on unnecessary procedures.  Sorry for the book.

I'm very pleased with him.  He has the same staff - not a lot of turnover. It's a family business. I rarely have to wait for hours. I typically wait 5 minutes to be seen when I arrive. It's a nice environment and they talk to you. He's also very thorough. They send me reminders for my appointment, and if something happens, they'll reschedule you without a fee.

    Britto's Children's Dentistry - Woodbridge
Dr Britto's office is well-designed for pediatric dentistry...there are games and movies for the kids, and the atmosphere is very professional.  On this visit, we had a checkup that included x-rays (our first successful x-rays).  The assistant we got did a great job with his bedside manner, and even entertained my daughter by drawing a picture for her while we waited for Dr Britto to review the images.  My daughter is always excited to go see the dentist, partially because she knows she will get a coin for the novelty machine out front but mostly because the entire operation is designed for kids.  I look forward to bringing my second child here now that she is old enough to get her first checkup.
